What a surprise! High end food in pleasant surroundings with live jazz in the West Way Square development. Parsley and lovage soup with Ham hock tortellini; 48-hour slow cooked melt-in-the-mouth pork with charred leeks; non-meat things too; pretty desserts. Flavours are distinctive and carefully cooked. The Trip Advisor map is misleading; you have to go inside the new development to find it, but it is worth it. This is special food, albeit at special prices (!) Knowledgeable wine list. This is a really unexpected addition to the Oxford food scene with easy parking. Home-made special bread.

Chef Mic was pinging away this morning. Not only could I hear the pinging and noticed the lack of any other forms of cooking going on, its now plainly obvious to me that when you look at the fatty undercooked bacon and soggy hash brown i've received this is why Greggs had a queue of 10 and this place had nobody in it. Lesson learnt.
