Papa's Italian Takeaway in North Lincolnshire

Pizzas are excellent here. My little boy loves they give him lollipop 🍭 too. Happy customer here. Would highly recommend

Disappointing for the order wrong completely chicken kebab arrived cold and half the order was missing . Came in a box and the garlic sauce and cheese was stuck to the napkin so couldn’t peal it off .Waste of £24 rang them was not resolved

Placed a telephone order for pickup. This place has a good reputation in Barton, will it did! The food we received was not up to standard. The pizza was very salty and the chicken kebab didn’t even have any salad with it! Two pieces of chicken and absolutely smothered in garlic sauce which I did ask for but not that much. Needless to say we will not be going back!

I have used this takeaway for some years but they have let quality slide! I loved the fact that I could order online but after today and the mould on BOTH chicken kebabs we ordered, we will never visit again!!

it was cold and not cooked i asked for cheese and pepperoni and they put mushrooms on it which caused me to be really ill they always mess up my orders i asked for cheesy chips they gave me spicy chips DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Whenever I want a pizza in Barton I feel spoilt for choice. This place produces excellent food, and the menu always has a good choice for us pescatarians.

No other pizzas compare to Papa's pizzas, I used to travel home from uni just to get a Papa's fix! Service isn't fast but it's simply a question of if you are willing to wait or if you'd rather a speedier and less enjoyable option. I get that if you're someone that actually loves the stodgy bready pizzas with the processed tasting toppings that every other pizza shop on the planet seems to sell then you might not like these, but for most people once you've had pizza from here the others just do not compare. Have never managed to find a takeaway pizza that comes close to what you will get from here, plus the meal deal is an absolute steal

By far the best pizza shop around. I will not buy a pizza from anywhere else. Friendly staff. It does get very busy and you can be waiting 1+ hours for your food.

ordered for delivery and receive grey questionable chicken on a bed of semi frozen cold chips..very disappointed.

Staff are helpful and friendly. Food is always spot on really tasty. I highly recommend Papas to everyone

Quality food, tasted like it was fresh out of Italy! Good base and wonderful fresh toppings! The base was crisp and bubbly just how we like it and the wait wasn't long either.

We have had ordered from papa's quite a few times and it has always been excellent each time!! However you do have to wait a very long time for delivery sometimes up to 2 hours! Collection is much quicker but still a long time compared to other take out places in Barton.

kebab very dry and old !! chips that spicy we couldnt even eat them ,, not worth the wait at all ,, order at opening doesnt arrive till gone 9 ,,, shocking , refused at door ,,went to pizza hot in market place ,,not a very good hygen rating but food was a beaut ,, not a fault

The kebab and pizza from Papa's is better quality than any other takeaway in Barton. The kebab meat has taste to it and you can tell its quality meat. The pizza is cooked in a proper pizza oven and tastes excellent. The time waiting for food is longer than the other takeaways and also the availability of kebab meat is limited but if you want quality, rich tasting food then this is the place to go

Lovely pizzas but delivery shocking. Ordered around 6.15 said delivery 8.15. No sign by 8.30 and with a hungry child. Was assured would be by 8.15. Rang 8.30 assured there by8.45. Rang 8.40 to check wouldn't be til 9. Sorry we are all starving. Made other arrangements. Very let down.

Yo fui el primero en la puerta a las 5.30 y el personal eran preping ensaladas y verduras muy transitada, pero la carne es no era incluso cocina. Yo era el primero en pedir una pizza y un kebab y me dijeron que 15 minutos. 30 minutos más tarde he tenido una fría y kebabs y una pizza mientras estaba esperando mi pedido el personal era conseguir la masa de pizza introducirlas de trozar verduras latas, seguramente esto podría haber sido hecho antes de abrir. Mi casa los alrededores local en bangor es fabuloso ella toma el pedido se lleva tu dinero y todo está listo para ella para poner la pizza y estás fuera de allí en 10 minutos y ella está por su cuenta en una ciudad tan bulliciosa de estudiantes.

We ordered our a papa's special Calzone and the menu stated any choice of toppings (apart from seafood and kebab meat). So we asked for a 12" Calzone with everything but onions and our order was taken. We asked how long for delivery and they said about an hour so we asked for collection instead which was 20mins. After entering the takeaway 20 minutes later I could see a Calzone box ready and waiting on top of the pizza oven. I asked for my order and paid for it then sat and waited for a few minutes. I guess while I waited they were making fresh chips as I had also ordered some spicy chips. The order was passed over to me and I thought this doesn't seem very hot but didn't think too much more about it until I returned home (only a couple of minutes down the road). Upon returning home we served the calzone and chips onto plates. When we started to eat it we both found it to be a little on the cold side and possibly slightly undercooked. We both ate it all but was a bit disappointed as we have not really ever had a bad meal from here before. It was the first time I had tried a Calzone from here and was expecting it to live up to how lovely the pizzas are, but I will not be ordering another Calzone from here again.

Best pizza in town, but its let down by the fact you have to wait hours for delivery, or 1+ hour for pick up, i'm being generous here, yes, really! i've never had a 1 hour pick up, its always 1.5 hours or MORE, EVEN IF YOU CALL AT 5PM, THEIR OPENING TIME. But my mate has had the honour of getting one within a hour of asking. Well done, he must be on the inner circle lol

This is by far the best pizza takeaway within miles. Always fresh beautifully made Pizzas. A large selection on the menu. No other takeaway can beat it in Barton

Have been using Papas for many years and have never yet had a bad pizza. Plenty of choice and if it's not on the menu you can always as. If they have the ingredients, they will make a pizza especially to your liking.

AWSUM pizza shame about delivery and service, delivery time 90 mins / 120 mins if ur lucky. and kept me on phone for 5 min waiting before they even said anything

Papas is undeniably the best tasting pizza in Barton but oh my god, waiting for delivery is painful. And picking the pizza up doesn't hurry up the process.

The pizza base is very nice and all the ingredients are very tasty. Not as many special deals as other pizza places in Barton but by far the best tasting. Delivery can take quite a long time on Fridays and Saturdays, but like they say "good things come to those who wait!"

Brilliant food, worth paying more than the others for the quality food but the service is abysmal!! You'll be lucky to order anything you see on the menu, it's never available ( they can't be bothered) plus the owner is rude and unapologetic when orders are incorrect. Wouldn't recommend but I still go because of the food occasionally lol

I rang for a collection order and stated what I wanted, got told it would be ready in 1 1/2 hours so I said I would ring once I checked that that wait would be okay. I then rang back 2 minutes later to get told it would be ready in and hour, then it changed to 1 hour 45 minutes then to 2 hours!!! For only 3 kebab meat and chips and 1 pizza I think that's ridiculous! And how the time can change that much I have no idea! It doesn't make it any better that the staff answering the calls have a poor telephone manner!

There might be plenty of pizza shops to choose from in Barton but Papa's is the definitely the best.Their prices may be slightly higher but in my opinion it's worth paying the extra for the better quality.The only downside is there must be many others who feel the same as you can have an hour or so wait during busy times.

I've been coming here since 1993 and with it being the only place with a real stone based pizza oven no one else will ever come close in barton. With other pizza places using convection heat conveyor belt grills. The quality of the toppings are superior also using genuine Italian meats and other ingredients unlike the other places using reformed junk and disguise the quality by putting the cheese on top. You get what you pay for and if you want the best fresh pizza only this will do and I prefer it to prezzo actually.

Best takeaway in town, bar none. The chefs use top quality ingredients. The staff are always very helpful and go out of their way to help you.

We have had take always from papa's for as long as I remember and it is without a doubt the best in barton, the pizza bases are crisp and not too doughy, and pizza's are really tasty. You do often have to wait a while for delivery, especially on a weekend but if you collect the time is normally halved, it is well worth the wait.

This is not our usual pizza sho, we opted for a change and wished we hadnt bothered. we ordered a pizza and kabab and chips, which took 1 1/2 hours to come and when it did it went in the bin! my pizza came dry as abone the topping had been put on top of my cheese and the muchrooms in my pizza had turned to ash, the chips in my kabab where cold undercooked and soggy and the kebabwas cold and fill of grisle. i telephoned and was told thats how my pizza comes!!! i could also have gotten twice as much or more for the price i paid from any of the other pizza shops and would have arrived in more than half the time it took them to deliver it, i am surprised they still have custom!!!
