I ordered from this restaurant, and my experience was extremely disappointing due to the late delivery. I placed my order at 22:00 PM, expecting it to arrive within the 40-45 minutes as promised on Ubereats. However, the food did not arrive until 23:30 PM, a full one and a half hours later! During this time, I made multiple calls to the restaurant and each time was assured that the order was "on its way." When the food finally arrived, it was cold and unappetizing, ruining our dinner plans. The lack of communication and responsibility from the restaurant is unacceptable. Not only did they fail to deliver on time, but they also showed no consideration for the inconvenience caused. The customer service was abysmal, with no satisfactory explanation or apology offered for the delay. This experience has completely put me off from ordering from them again. I expect much better service, especially when there are so many other options available. People should think twice before ordering from this restaurant if they want their food delivered within a reasonable timeframe and at an acceptable quality.

We ordered breakfast from Papa Nadox this morning via a delivery service. The order was for fried yam, seasoned eggs, unseasoned plantain, potatoes and butter garlic sauce. They sent us seasoned plantain instead of unseasoned. The seasoning on the plantain was sickly; cinnamon and crunchy sugar, and the plantain tasted stale. The plantain was inedible. The yam was stale and was literally drenched in crunchy sugar. We scraped off as much of the sugar as possible but the yam was inedible. The potatoes again tasted stale and the seasoning was so salty we had to wipe it off with a cloth. Again, inedible. The butter garlic sauce tasted heavily of crayfish. Inedible. Lastly, the egg lacked seasoning, was not spicy at all (we ordered extra spicy) and also had to be thrown away after just a few bites. We both felt physically ill after the few bites we had when we were trying not to let the food go to waste but had no choice but to bin it. It was a total waste of the almost £30 we paid for the food. I hope the restaurant takes the feedback on board to make improvements, because the food could have been SO much better. On a positive note, the food was nicely packaged with a cute yellow bow.

Ordered online, 2 platters and extra sides and drinks over £120 worth of food. After the first hour of waiting was told it was leaving the kitchen in 5 minutes, the second hour I was told the order was on its way. Third hour we received a call not from the restaurant but from deliveroo because the restaurant wanted to cancel the order. This left us waiting for 3 hours with no insight about when the food may or may not come. Poor customer service. No sympathy at all, unfazed about being left with no food on New year’s eve. Was left too late to order elsewhere as all other options had closed. Worst outcome from a takeaway i’ve ever received. DEFINITELY DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE! NOT WORTH WASTING TIME AND MONEY OVER! POOR SERVICE. BAD QUALITY

Ordered food 1hr 10mins ago. Food still not out the kitchen. No tracking on deliveroo! Said they’d ring me back…never did. Haven’t picked up the phone last two times I rang. [Edit, guy calls me back - 35mins later to say “thanks for the lovely review” when all I’ve put on here is facts]. SMH.

My mind was blown away by the flavour of the sauce and the amount of meat in all of the seafood! This is one of those places where you go to once and keep dreaming about after. They have some secret and I just can’t put my finger on it. The sauce is just next level. I ordered like £50 worth of whatever and they said “ok we will give you something to try” I’ve never had a seafood boil in my life so left it to them to decide and my eyes popped out my head because of the flavour. Another thing I absolutely hate about seafood is that it’s smelly BUT this DID NOT SMELL nasty at all!!! It was absolutely divine. The meat was soooo sweet but a natural sweet. I will be ordering again no doubt. Can’t believe they are 24/7 too. And deliver all over London!!!! That’s crazy!!! I highly highly recommend this place.

The prices are a bit on the high side but ok for an occasional treat. My only issue is the amount of sugar added to the sauce, it just over powers the flavours of the fish. I would like to try again but only for foods without added sugar. Please diabetes patient beware!!!!!!!

24hrs but they run out of food. Over an hour late for Supermalts which never arrived. Unresponsive; didn’t answer mine or Deliveroo’s call. Landline number connects to vodafone and EE voicemails. £7.99 for boiled potatoes but none included. Nothing to absorb the flavours of the boil. Just salty seafood and oil. Looking at these positive reviews sideways - Boil was mid at best, frankly I’ve had better. Waste of £63 and my time. May never order from here again. Rubbish!

In starting with the positive, I must say that the food was really, really good. It was fresh and the sauce chosen was excellent. The intermediate response is this: in a low country boil such as this, a true cultural difference was experienced. I am used to boiled red potatoes in the sauce not hard boiled eggs. I didn't like them but I'll know if there's a next time. Now the bad: I paid more than 75 UK pounds for a meal combination of crab legs, lobster tails, shrimp, et al. I received lobster tails & shrimp. I was given the option of utensils included, which I took. I received none which means we had to go on a hunt, leave our room, and go find some. I was given the option to meet the driver outside OR at the door. Which I took to mean the driver would at least breach the doorway (where there IS a doorman) because I responded "Meet at the door" as opposed to meet the delivery person in the street...or 'outside' as the choice was given. Not only did the driver NOT approach the door, but the delivery was made 35 minutes OUTSIDE of the time range I was given. I can relate to delivery & service people so I generously gave a 15% gratuity ahead of time. Honestly, I feel like I got seriously ripped off. Not only did I pay for something I didn't get (the food & utensils), not only was it inconvenient after waiting for such a long time, but the 15% was a total overpayment. I ordered from this restaurant because someone else in my travel group said how good it was. In other words, a positive referral. But I cannot offer the same.

Ordered multiple times, never any complains, only joy LOL! Def one of the best (if not THE best) seafood and soul joint in UK! If your contemplating, don't, just order it! Value for money for sure P.S i ordered once at like 2 am because its 24/7 and i think it was one of my best meals to date!! Love Love Love

Had the best experience with seafood boil at the comfort of my home. The bbq sauce was just right and the prawns and lobster tail was so fresh! Definitely would recommend! Oh and definitely try the mac and cheese, that was just perfect amount of cheese.

The boil I ordered was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection (best I've had to date). The variety of options they offer on their menu is also fantastic, perfect place for comfort food. This Place is a hidden gem, highly recommend!

INITIAL COMPLAINT: I was overcharged for the wrong order. When I called about it, I was told to email in but have not received a response to my email. Terrible. UPDATE: Called the store today and spoke to a lovely man named Andrew who not only refunded me and apologised but also offered a 20% discount. He explained they had agency staff that were working that day. Great customer service, it really is about how a restaurant rectifies their mistakes that makes for a good business.

Food literally was inedible. Crab legs overcooked, the meat was mushy. Plantain dowsed in cinnamon and salt. And the sauce was not good at all. If a meal is gonna be priced £60 it needs to slap every time.

I've ordered a few times from here, my favourite was the coconut parmesan rice and prawn with marshmallow combo. Simply delicious. The chicken burger and old Bay fries combo was also another of my favourites. I would recommend.

Do not order from here, I paid over £100 and my order was wrong. I contacted the restaurant the morning after my order as I was instructed to by Uber eats. This was on the 9th April I didn’t receive a reply until the 12th however, when I first placed my order and was asking for updates they was replying instantly as soon as I reported an issue I was getting ignored. I continued to message for an update on my complaint and was completely ignored once again until the 20th April where I was told it had been forwarded to a manager and I would hear back. It is now the 13th May and I have heard absolutely nothing, I have sent multiple messages to their number, on their site and I am being ignored after spending over £100 and them messing up my order. So unprofessional I do not recommend

I looked at the reviews before ordering from this place clearly they’re lies spent a fortune Mac and cheese was dead jollof rice mid lobster was ok but overcooked couldn’t finish what I bought it had to go to the bin 🗑️

I started eating, the taste of garlic took over all the other tastes, so I wanted to try to eat only the things that are not at the bottom of the tray, and I found ONE HAIR! You can't imagine how disgusting it can be and I don't understand how something like this can happen when I pay so much money. I am very disappointed, it was the first and last time I ordered from this restaurant! Disgusting! ( I paid £108.94 + one more time the delivery (once 9.99 , second time 7.99)

Order for 180£ everything went to the bin Mac and cheese crab over salted the lobster was a cooked in disgusting cheese sauce and over cooked and the crab swimming in oil that was.the worst sea food I ever had. We had guests at home and we ended up eating pizzas

At 1 am in the morning, your not really cut for choice when it comes to restaurants and specific restaurants are even rarer, mostly chain shops open etc. Papa Maddox changed that. I ordered a snow crab boil at 1 in the morning you know, I was a lil skeptical and even thought it’s too good to be true. I was wrong, the food arrived in a timely manner and tasted excellent, can’t lie I almost beefed the guys for the last crab leg 😪 and they even gave me some free extra portions just because I contacted them by phone to find out about my order status? I’ll definitely be ordering again, quality in and out. 11/10 and love for the free plantain 👊🏾

terrible restaurant. cancels order and tells uber eats that you were the one that cancelled and still charges you. horrible management. if you can't sustain a 4am closing time then don't open it until 4am. only reason you are even getting a 1 star is because I can't post for less than that. you don't even deserve half a star.

Ordered shrimp boil and marshmallow sauce. Recieved a call to ask if marshmallow can be substituted for mac and cheese. I said no problem and asked when I could expect my order. I was told “soon”. 2 hours later it is 4am and I try to call to ask for an update. They did not answer the phone and around 5am they cancelled my order. So I was left waiting with no communication just for them to end up cancelling the whole order without a reason given.

Just tried to order, my ordered went through but was told I needed to pay £40 for delivery on top of a £50 order!!! The original delivery charge was £9.99 which is already very height!! Ridiculous!!!!! Was really looking forward to the food and they even made me wait 1hr before telling me about the delivery charge!!! Disappointed is an understatement! Greedy people!!! I barely leave reviews however I was so impressed by the service that Freddie provided and the food was piping hot and fresh, tasted incredible. Freddie came out and helped us with the order and made sure we was happy with everything. We will be returning for sure even with the 45 minute drive.

Treat yourselves guys, close your eyes, and understand you'll be getting some of the juiciest, breath-takingly, scrumptious seafood. (Honuary mention to their suya prawns and jollof, I didn't come here for that but I was curious and the suya alarmingly good! The only thing I would add is more vegetables with it like the cucumber and onion. The jollof jollofed in a way that compliments the seafood flavours! Please name it something more special) Seafood - Loads of options the lobster tails and crab legs were not only seasoned to perfection but cooked too! The prawns and lobster were appropriately sort of 'open' you aren't fiddling about with the shell. My friend had the crab legs which were really long and meaty - the crab meat was slidding out which just made me think whoever the chef was really took his time to perfect the cooking technique. T Food - The side of potato's that came were a bit confusing, I would describe them as more crisps- again excellently flavoured but I feel the meal would have been better with actual roasted or boiled potato's. The crisps were a lot and tasty though, I'd sell it as a side. Jollof rice - Buy it, I was surprised to see it on the menu and was wondering how it would fit with the cuisine seafood, however the jollof rice was so flavoursome and special! Again whoever decided to flavour it in such a sweet and flagrant manner deserves a raise. I would buy this separately and make sure you patent the cooking method. The sauce - Delicious (doesn't look it if I'm being honest). I don't really like egg but it was so nice in the sauce I bought to. Price - Please be greedy and treat yourself. The portions of 'meat' are really chunky and its not the small ones you get in restaurants.

Do not order take out from here, has to be the worst delivery service ever. And the lies my goodness, too much. We called numerous times in 3hours for an update on our food and they mentioned the food was on its way. After 2 hours of saying the food is on its way the restaurant then said the food was delivered an hour after we ordered and the driver has sent a picture of him delivering the food. When we asked to be sent the picture of where the driver delivered it to, the manager said he needs to investigate . Does it make sense to order at 8:30pm and keep calling past 11pm? We asked for them to cancel the order earlier but they refused and it’s doesn’t allow you to cancel the order on Deliveroo for some reason. After 11pm the restaurant finally finished their investigation and issued a refund.

Failed to deliver my Jollof rice. Called them and they promised refund or delivery. When I established they couldn’t deliver that night, I asked for a refund. They agreed. But then they didn’t refund and have ignored my emails. Don’t order from them because they are dishonest, can’t get orders right and are overpriced.

Food was top quality and delicious. Would have liked to order an extra corn as it was so tasty! Delivery was confusing as I did this through Uber eats. After ordering I was called by the restaurant to collect my address and phone number. Sadly, the customer service on the phone was poor as the lady on reception seemed clearly flustered with the Uber app and appeared rude. I was then called by someone else in the team who explained the process of delivery clearly. I was called again later that evening, I asked how long delivery would take, she replied ‘I don’t know, I can’t find out, it depends how fast the delivery driver drives’ in a slightly rude tone with no indication of any time. Took 2 hours from ordering to eating however the actual delivery time was displayed on a separate link I received by text 40 mins before arrival. Some drama could’ve been saved by properly training reception staff or informing customers of what to expect next. For example, you will receive a link with your delivery courier arrival. Or… a bit of politeness on the phone when repeatedly having to ask for address and telephone numbers that had been given twice, 10 mins previously. Great food, shame about service.

My experience with them is truly one of the most upsetting things I have experienced in a long time. I ordered from Papa Nadox and called them immediately conscious of the fact that they used their own riders and so the timing from uber eats may not be correct. I ordered Papa Nadox last week for the first time. I had the prawn boil bag with a sweet treat. The food was nice and flavourful. The reason I wont give 5 stars is because initially when I placed the order through the website it was not acknowledged. I had to call an hour later and the person I spoke to confirmed that the system had to be restarted as they had not received my order. The person i spoke with was very respectful and assured me that they would get my order to me as soon as possible. I mean not to sound entitled but I was expecting a bit more like a free drink or something but hey I guess the economy is tight. Anyways I waited an additional 50 minutes before my order arrived just to find out that they had forgotten the bottle of water that I ordered with the food.

Horrendously overpriced but It was recommended so I purchased anyway. Ordered this via Ubereats and it took a bit longer than expected but it was all worth the wait, they have some of the best seafood boil I have ever eaten, just thinking of the sweet potato and corn makes my mouth still water. You definitely will not regret ordering from them
