We got a delivery to the murrayfield hotel tonight and I just wanted to say delivery man..what a guy! On a dark and rainy night he did a great job, food was hot and he apologised the paper bag the drinks were in was wet off the rain, so sorry I didn't have cash on me to tip you! Thankyou very much 😊

No table for dine in.But it’s much cheaper to order online. 12£ for xxl pizza can served 3-4 people. Near by fountain park. Double pepperoni always the best pizza!

Went here last night. Asked for gluten free. Been unwell today and noticed that on the box that there’s no note of gluten free. 😔😔

Incorrect pizza size given and undercooked. Refused to change it. Awful customer service. Don't bother.

Usually don't have Papa John's often for financial reasons, but came in today to the Fountain Park store for a cheap lunch deal personal pizza and some dips, was not disappointed! The staff were really friendly and generous and the food was delicious. Much much better than the Newington store. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

I've been looking for this pizza for a long time. I ate it once in New York and, although it is different from the Italian one, I fell in love with it. So I wanted to try it here in Scotland and it fully met my expectations. I ate there 2 days out of 2 and it was worth it. Too bad the pizzeria is takeaway only.

Our usual branch at Blackhall was closed so this was my nearest. Still tasty but not quite the same as the other branch but couldn't really put my finger on it. Would use again though.

We ordered online and when we arrived it said it was ready for collection. However we then saw them start making our order. Over all impression was dirty and cutting corners! Staff looked grubby overall and I saw a girl rinse her hand not even wash them…no gloves and long hair not in a net. I didn’t eat my food it made me feel sick to think of eating it.

Would never order from here again, their staff is rude and absolutely unprofessional. They kept our money from orders we haven’t received and costumer service wasn’t available.

I got some vegan stuff. This includes margherita pizza, and it was very dry like a shoe sole. Some no-chicken soya pieces and fried cauliflowers. Both not really tasty. On the other hand, the vegan garlic sauce was very good.

It's good quality. Ive introduced Italians to this and they loved it. It isnt proper pizza but it's gooood, especially thin crust with extra oregano. Sausage and pepperoni is my go-to.

Staff was very rood and I am vegetarian so they never can use gloves and I am asking for the gloves and they ask we are never use the gloves so they use there hand for chicken stuffing and vegetarian stuffing aswell so that not good for vegetarian people I don’t like it

I ask them why you guys not wearing gloves they said we never use gloves at all. Vegan and vegetarian people avoid this shop. They are very rude as well.

Worse staff , every time I go there is a annoying person on the counter, jut went to get a small pizza for my son , we were only 3min late , the girl was so rude she refused to give a small pizza because we were 3min late, but she was very rude to talk. There weeks ago I I ordered a large pizza and waiting for our orders, the guy who took the order was very angry then his boss phoned him and he was apologizing for his behaviour with other customer's who have complained about him, after long wait he gave us our pizza. When I opened it at home it was one of the worse pizza I ever had , no stuff on the pizza hardly any thing on the top. Please make sure that the staff is in a good mood before you ordered the pizza in this place. Won't go this place again. I don't know who is the boss of this place.

I used to order Papa John's all the time in Glasgow and other places... I have a suspicion about this one though... So I always order non cheezy garlic pizza sticks these are amazing at most PJ's. We are very close to the restaurant so should be an easy delivery without time for food to cool significantly in transit... Yet every single time the garlic pizza sticks are horrible and stone cold. As someone that loves this dish I've just thrown them out before as too cold... They also deliver it lightening quickly which gives me a suspicion that they're cutting corners in a way which RUINS my favourite menu item... I suspect they cook garlic pizza sticks ahead of time and hoard them awaiting an order...so when you order you're not getting something fresh and made to order but rather something cold and unappetising. Given the proximity of the restaurant, rapid delivery, and clearly stone cold garlic pizza bread it seems hard to form any other conclusion. Hoping they stop this terrible practice as I've gone from regular customer to never buying from this particular restaurant over this consistent recurrent problem. Please central office look into this and if I'm right please please please sort them out!

Ordered online - easy, with offers clearly highlighted. Followed preparations and delivery on their pizza tracker. Delivery driver was friendly and courteous. Pizza and side were piping hot and tasty. Plenty of cheese and toppings on the pizza, good dough and nice garlic dips. Definitely good service. Should've taken a photo before I ate half 😄!

Firstly, I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. £18 for a small pizza that came with a lump of hair on top of it. Not only that but there was more hair underneath the pizza. Complete and utter ripoff for what you get. You can get a large pizza from Papa John's in England for the same price that you pay for a small pizza at this location. Would definitely not go to here and avoid it with a 10ft barge pole. Just save your money and go elsewhere.

Drivers keep parking and blocking the pavement in front of the store.

Well dodgy , could do with a Home Office crackdown . Pizza Driver parked in front of the main pedestrian crossing for no reason . Except because that’s law breaking their attitude back home , perhaps . Totally unsafe obstruction from the staff I would never support such a business that brings nothing of value to this country.

Did not have a clue. Didn’t understand their own menu. Offers were not honoured, shocking. Food way over priced. Avoid like the plague. Will never return to a papa johns!! Have to give one green dot, cannot give less.

Very expensive for such a small pizza. The toppings were tasty but sparse. The pizza was mostly dough with a small amount of cheese and topping. Will be going somewhere cheaper with more generous portions next time. Disappointing.

Don’t like the communication with the store personnel, I have to go almost to the store to pick up my delivery. The response from the store was that the hotel was new and they did not know where it was.

Refusing to deliver to King's Stables Road that is a 5 minute drive way because 'it's not in the system'. I'll take my business elsewhere. Ridiculous.

I ordered pizzas from fountain bridge on 9th Nov and mentioned to deliver at 7.15 pm. Firstly it was delivered 20 minutes late. Next the dough is very hard, not fresh and cold. It seemed it was prepared the previous day. The pieces are all gathered at one corner of the box. Seems the delivery person is not very good, sorry.

My first experience of papa John’s ended up mixing up me and my pals pizza gave him my stuffed crust and his pizza he wanted, I got a random pizza with no stuffed crust barbecue sauce which I didn’t ask for, plus no stuffed crust which I paid 2.50 for so yeah if your a pizza place and can’t get a pizza right with Scottish workers who don’t understand a Scottish person no discrimination in ma house but Take note 👍

Too much tomato sauce compared to the amount of cheese; slightly long waiting times; too expensive. Aside from those few complaints I have no problem with this place and believe it is a good place to eat.

Service with smile excellent taste the best pizza

We decided after walking 15,000 steps around Edinburgh, visiting the galleries and museums, we would get something to eat next to our hotel (Hampden by Hilton.) Cheap pizza, but it most definitely gave us food poisoning. Our trip was ruined and we had to go back to Aberdeen and not onward to Glasgow like planned. Scariest 2 1/2 hour drive of my life with a very sick girlfriend. Very disappointed.

I've never met papa John but I think he would be pleased with this branch. I like to think that papa John looks at his branches as if they were his children. In this case you raised a good one John. One day this branch may grow up to be Prime Minister.

Ordered my pizza at the restaurant for take out. I ran off to the grocery store for some soda and when I came back 10 minutes later, my pizza was accidentally taken by a delivery guy. They apologized like 5 times, and upgraded my pizza size. Accidents happen, but it's the way they handled it that gives them five stars.

Never had a pizza delivered I've only ever been in to the shop. I can say that the staff are friendly enough and the service is quick. All in all a good experience. 😀

I wouldn’t eat here or give this place any of my business. The staff is extremely rude and according to other reviews that’s normal here. A short haired balding pudgy man was at the register when I walked in. He was on the phone, and I grabbed a menu he then literally snatched it out of my hand and continued his phone conversation. I thought, “well hey maybe this guy is just having a bad day and on an important call”. A few minutes passed and the guy was still on a decidedly mundane call acting like I was not even there. So I asked him if they were even serving food, and he then walks away from me around the corner to hide while talking on corded telephone. Once that happened I told him if I’d leave him a “great” review and he acknowledged it and I left. A very bizarre experience to say the least...

While the food is consistently of fantastic quality, the staff do leave a bit to be desired. Rarely will you get acknowledged when entering the shop, which can leave you standing awkwardly at the counter waiting for staff members to finish a conversation. The team could definitely therefore do with some training in customer service, although having said that the quality of the food speaks for itself so I don't think that you will be losing too many customers regardless.

Was here Friday 11th around 11:30pm. Young guy served us can’t remember his name but he was so cheery and friendly!

Well after a night out in Edinburgh it was coming to the end of the night & we were feeling peckish so we got a Papa John's pizza. Would highly recommend.

Ripped me off and I was too timid to complain. (Delivery price although I was there, didn't want to give me a receipt as it would have been a proof.) I know, this makes it my own fault, but I'm not used to such things. This sorry fat guy should understand that this makes him even lower than he is.

Very fresh pizza, immense flavour. I would like to bring to your attention that the slicing is pathetic. See via the picture the pizza slicing on a good day. The service wheb you enter the establishment is poor.

Good pizza, the staff were messing around in the back which was pretty funny to watch. I was left to stand for quite a while before anybody came to see me though.

Polish store manager very very rude, messed up my pizza 3 nights ago and can't find the order, not to mention some of the drivers coming in and out were stinking of cannabis, red eyes and big pupils

Martin is the rude polish guy who has zero ability to manage his shop or deal with the customer service that follows when you ruin someone's order. He was treating me like I'm trying to pull one over on the shop, when literally four days ago I was promised a refund to be collected at any time because they gave me a "half" pepperoni with one edible slice for a vegetarian, no exaggeration. It's not worth being screwed over and then left with this Martin person who can't even apologize for the inconvenience. All he says is "no I don't have record, no pizza no" with an accusatory tone and scowl

Nothing beats the Papa...best takeaway in Edinburgh (forget Domino's...Papa Johns is where it's at!!) love the topping combinations and the taste is far superior. Yes it's more expensive but worth every penny! Make sure to buy the DEAL OPTIONS to make it more affordable!

Great pizzas. Good staff, patient and accommodating. Only issue is no delivery service for those who leave in West Edinburgh.

It has its faults. I am often given the wrong dips. I have had a few pizzas with wrong ingredients. And they can sometimes be less than generous with the toppings. Said that, this is my place of choosing for fast food pizza. Their ingredients do feel better quality than other brands. Their dough is very nice, they have always been very happy to deliver another pizza, free of charge, when something has not been perfect, and they do it straight away, quickly and without a fuzz. I had even the manager once making and delivering the pizza himself! And I didn't make a big fuzz about anything, he just made me feel like they care about their customers.

Wonderful soft and fresh pizzas. Prompt delivery and piping hot too, need not heat again. Missing the tandoori chicken spicy pizza it was my favourite. The offers are interesting and have been ordering from past two years from the Dundee Edinburgh outlet and never had any complaints. New dishes on a periodic basis need to be introduced which would be better else would have give a 5 star.

Worst pizza in Edinburgh! they delayed the pizza, and gave me a wrong order, in which I specifically asked for a pizza without spice due to my allergies and they included it despite this information.I recommend anyone with a good sense NOT to go there.

Pretty great wee pizza take away shop. Newly opened and immaculate inside. It is a proper production line of people rolling out dough and adding toppings and folding boxes. They did 1/2 price pizzas in January which was a bargain and I went twice. The garlic butter dipping sauce that is free with every pizza is Devine. There are multiple delivery drivers here all the time so they must do a busy take away delivery service. Tasty, quick pizzas snd great service, can't beat it.
