App didn’t include door number, driver delivered to someone else, i did not get a call or been sent a message. Whoever received my delivery was not asked for my name or code. No security never order here again. Spent £30 and never got my order or £.

Food did not arrive on time, I was sat waiting at the destination and receive no call so I have been left with no food and would like a refund. I was waiting for an extra 20 minutes and received no call then when I rang he said that the driver turned up but he never.

First, they phoned to say they couldn't provide half my order, then after 2 hours, my food still hadn't arrived. They said there wasn't a driver available, and had no idea how long I would have to wait. Absolutely terrible.

Worst GF pizza I have ever had. Literally tasted like cardboard. Paid extra for a large sauce to be told they don’t actually have large pots of sauce and ended up giving us two small to make up for it which didn’t help. We also ordered the cheese tots with bacon and they were cold and just had no flavour. The chicken poppers were the only enjoyable part of the delivery. Wouldn’t waste your money

I recently ordered pizza from Papa John's, and I was thoroughly impressed! The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce had a rich, flavorful blend of spices that really stood out, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. I especially loved the generous amount of cheese that stretched deliciously with every slice. Plus, the garlic dipping sauce is a must-try! Overall, it was a fantastic pizza experience, and I'll definitely be ordering from Papa John's again!

This order has only just arrived. I am appalled with how long this has taken since the order was placed around 11:30-11:50pm, the order was supposed to have arrived at 12:25-12:45 and yet it is now it’s 1:50 and only just been delivered. At 1am i contacted the restaurant and they told me it would arrive at 1:20 and it still did not show up. Just Eat then informed me that would be here at 1:30. When it arrived it was unappetising since it was cold and hard and i was unable to eat it

First, and last, time ordering from here. The food was almost warm, the dips were missing from the chicken combo starter, and the Italian sausage and pepperoni papadia contained so many jalapenos that you could not taste anything else. Considering their reputation and high prices I was very disappointed

Its been over 2 hours since ordering and an hour after "latest arrival", called the store to ask where the order is. On its way they say. The delivery driver called me saying he has gone to the wrong place. I call the shop to cancel as its taking so long and the food will be cold by the time it gets to me. Get told, if he has gone the wrong place, he will probably be there in a minute. 30 mins later STILL no arrival of order, and no cancel on uber eats. Stuck, they have my money, even if I do get some food it will be 2 hours old and have been out in a car for at least one hour. This was a lunch order!

I don't know whats happened to this place but it's gone massively downhill the last 6 months or so. Used to order regularly for years with no issues. My latest issue though has forced me to write a review. I ordered online for collection, clicked pay now and the age just refreshed asking me to try again, I did this twice and the same page just reloaded asking for payment. Before I did it again I checked my bank and saw the money had been taken twice, I checked my emails no confirmation and no order had gone through on the website. I went to the store showed the manager than money had left my account he said there is no order in my name and without an order number he can't do anything. I paid again Instore but he was not helpful in helping me resolve the issue. He just kept telling me I must have ordered from another store, ignoring the fact that there was no trail in my online orders, no emails and no order numbers. Even if it was ordered from another store I would have these. In the morn I checked my bank and payment had been taken 4 times! I got my bank to refund these. Normally I wouldn't complain but this followed from issues with previous orders for delivery in which I ordered the works pizza, it arrived with no meat! whatsoever, another order had no cheese on the pizza, another occasion I received the wrong order. Love Papa John's but this one is terrible so going to revert back to dominoes after about 5 years of ordering Papa John's.

Absolute joke off a service putting the phone down on me after telling them my food didn't come the night before and telling me it was delivered when it was shut and I paid through just eat no one wanted to sort my issue just said contact just eat and putting the phone down on me as soon as I called off a different number they answered all I wanted was my food that I paid for that did not turn up. Staff are awfull

I wish it was late the food didn't even come and when contacting the store today they are now telling me it was delivered when they shut at 12 and the order says it was delivered at 01.20 absolute pi@# take i had to make another order at 01.30 from another store that night and the store have been lying to me on the phone today saying it was delivered and now are fobbing me off to ring just eat this has wasted far to much off my time

This place may be fine if you don't want or need a receipt so I'd strongly advise you don't use this place for business or corporate deals because they seem unable to furnish you with such a thing. I ordered seven pizzas and several cookies for lunch for a team of doctors at a nearby hospital. I specified on my order that a receipt had to accompany the delivery. The driver turned up twenty minutes late WITH NO RECEIPT!!! Even contacting the shop to enquire about being furnished with one is an unedifying experience as they seem to regard it on a par with you asking them to sign up for the Ukranian army or something. Very, very poor indeed.

We received our order along with an extra free large pizza (american hot-my favourite!) and an extra portion of potato tots for FREE!! Thank you thank you thank you, we absolutely love papa johns- the choc chip cookie is THE BEST

You accepted my order and I waited up until 2.30am waiting for it and you just didn't turn up. Don't accept an order if you have no intention of delivering!!!

I never received my order. I put in an order and later after hours of my order being placed i googled the restaurant and found out it was closed. There was no option to cancel my order as well as it said jt had been delivered when it hadn’t.

Ordered 2 pizzas nearly 3 weeks ago still no refund. You got order number and postcode ,£46.18 You'll read this review. I'll be there tomorrow for my money , make sure manager is there because I won't leave until I get it .

Order through Uber Eats a pizza A pepperoni passion with extra mushrooms and have received this when asking what is this the delivery person said that it’s none of his business and he’s not going to deal with it this is not even a pizza Have contacted Uber Eats to deal with this as this is not what I ordered and that’s not what it says on my order list they should be ashamed that they sent this they should be ashamed and disgusted with their self Would not recommend this place one bit go somewhere else because these people don’t know how to run a proper business

I made an order at 01:47am and spent £27.99 in which I was told the order would come between 02:25-02:45am. If there was any doubt that the food was impossible to be made and delivered in that time frame then the restaurant should have cancelled my order however it wasn’t cancelled and I have been waiting almost an hour for it to come and have heard no response.

While working as a driver at Papa John's pizzeria, I encountered unacceptable practices during the pizza preparation process. Contrary to hygiene standards, employees often knead dough with their bare hands and without wearing gloves. As a result, pizza sometimes contains hair from workers that, despite safety protocols, accidentally ends up in the food. Employees can often be seen sneezing near products or touching them with parts of their bodies without proper protective equipment. These practices not only pose a health risk to customers, but also violate food industry hygiene standards. I hope the management will take the necessary measures to improve hygiene standards and ensure the safety of the food offered by the pizzeria.

Certain my vegan mushroom papida has NORMAL cheese on it. Says vegan philly mush on the box so I took a bite but definitely normal cheese. Going to be unwell tonight, Christmas Eve, very unhappy.

The restaurant thought it was a good move to say it was on time then continue to not answer the phone. I got through to them but they said “your order came through late” when they accepted it no it didn’t arrive until around 3:10! The food was basically stale it was cold and not fresh, clearly the last one to be taken. I also have screenshots of the times and when the calls were ignored if you want to say I’m not being truthful… happens a lot on this app.

Surprised at some of the comments as I’ve never experienced it myself. The trick is to go and collect. Pizzas far cheaper than online price when you collect and you’ll get the pizza made in 15 minutes. By far the best quality takeaway pizza out of the usual dominos and Pizza Hut etc Don’t skimp with the toppings either. I think papa johns struggle as a whole with delivery (not just this particular store) so collect if you can

I am a bit upset because the size XXL looked like a Large, the cheese was basically not there, the quantity of salami was off for "double" and to add to that it was also dry and wrinkled.
