Love ordering from here they never let you down with quick HOT tasty well presented food and often get a good deal from the offers on the app. Staff are incredibly helpful too. Even ordering here for years.

Bought two pizzas. Not that great at all really... The toppings didn't start until 3rd the depth of the slice from the outer crust edge. Thin, and the toppings quite sparsely spread. When you buy food, you sometimes get an impression as to the state of mind of the people who've prepared it. I've had Papa John's from Preston before and it was lovely.. You really got the impression that the person who'd put it together actually cared and wanted you to enjoy it. This pizza from this place in Wigan... Nah. No frills done on the cheap. I can't recommend. Save your money and go somewhere you'll enjoy instead. 👍

Ordered quite frequently from here over the last few years. Never an issue. Always super quick service. I’ve made a mistake a couple of times when ordering online but quickly rectified when I’ve phoned and been able to easily amend the order. I've ordered from this place 3 times over the last 2 years. Every time the pizza takes well over an hour to arrive and it's cold. Amazed this place is still in business

Absolutely awful. Ordered at 7:25, arrived at 8:45. Cold and chewy with a very odd disparity of toppings over both pizzas. Rang to complain and the staff are rude. Delivery driver darted quickly as he knew he was delivering cold food. Fuming. Go to dominoes.

Ordered at 7 and at 5 to 9 still didnt arrive. Phoned a total of 4 times and was ignored, the 5th time someone finally picked up, i asked about the wait and they said they were busy and it would be another hour, so i cancelled.

Order for delivery at 19.20, chased up at 20.20, food still not arrived at 21,20. When called got told there really busy on a Thursday night. If you can't keep up don't take the order or money.

Um yeah don’t bother ordering from this place. It’s a disgrace. Super hard and chewy pizza, didn’t come cut and paper stuck to it? Not on and will never order from there again.

The food took a while to arrive, which is expected on a Saturday evening. My pizza base was hard and dry, what I can only describe as a stale texture. The pepperoni and ham were really hard and dry like they'd be overcooked. The cheese and crust didn't look overcooked though. Really disappointing. I've had far nicer frozen pizzas for a fraction of the cost. My friend said their pizza was 'average at best'.

The service was the best part which only lasted a maximum of five minutes. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, regular chicken wings and the garlic bread sticks (a basic order). When opening up the boxes everything looked greedy (and was dripping excessively). The garlic sticks were the worst of the three having what i can only imagine is the cheapest cheese known to man with some garlic butter wouldnt recommend at all. Now the chicken wings- chewy and burnt- they were smaller than the average wing making me question what type of bird it really came from. Finally the pizza a basic pepperoni where each slice seemed to hold as much liquid as a water bottle, the grease was starting to leak through the box. The cheese was the same - horrible. The only nice part was the crusts. Hardly any go eaten. Probably the worst takeaway i’ve ever eaten.

First time ordering from here I have to say they are such a Amazing pizzas and the delivery driver was so lovely would definitely recommend papa Johns and the papa Johns special sauce is out of this world 🤤😋😁

Took an hour and a half to be delivered. Pizza and sides was stone cold when I got it. Ridiculous.

Pizza delivered not warm enough to eat. The delivery app showed the pizza had been out of the oven for cutting and checking for quite sometime before on its way for delivery. Disappointed.

Delivered quick, great price compared to other well know pizza takeouts. It was super fresh, super tasty and well presented, the best pizza takeout by far.

Ordered medium meat pizza & garlic fingers. 15 mins late (I'd pre-ordered 3 hours earlier) wasn't really bothered about that however the food was disappointing. Both tasted really salty, the pepperoni was dried out, it was only just warm. The garlic dip was watery. There was a 30% off but still pricey, I would have been really pee'd of if I'd paid nearly £28 for pizza & garlic bread. The bottle of tango was the only good thing!

This. Is. The. Best. Pizza. In the Wigan Borough, way better than domino's. The pizza bases are so thin and so flop so easily, but with Papa John's, you can just tell that the dough is just quality! 👌 doesn't flop near as much and the Special Garlic dip they have is to die for. I reallyyyy recommend getting an All The Meats of you're the carnivore type. They also have a great wide range of pizzas to desserts catered to vegans, vegetarians and all them spice monsters out there. This place really has things for everybody and every taste!

Rubbish hirrible food very bland and not worth the money

I ordered a couple of weeks ago on a Tuesday when it's 2 for 1. Not sure if it was me that cocked up the order or a website glitch (could have sworn I had added my other half's pizza) but either way, I only ended up ordering one pizza and only realised when the driver was at my door handing me one pizza. The first order arrived extremely quickly - as always, I've never had a bad experience with this and probably order around once a month. I rang the restaurant and no questions asked, they made my forgotten partners pizza and delivered it! The guy on the phone said, your my customer, I'll look after you and true to his word, he did! Can't thank you enough :-) I will be back, they could have easily charged me the best part of 20 quid for a pizza and they didn't! I was left feeling like a valued customer. Ordered two pizzas at 5:45pm for 7:30 delivery, food hadn’t arrived at 7:50 so contacted the shop to be told that they were almost at our home. No delivery at 8:00 so rang again to cancel the order(which unfortunately I had pre paid for) was assured that the order would be free but that I may as well accept the delivery as they were outside. The pizzas were cold and appeared to have been made earlier and kept warm - tasteless and poor quality. To top it all when I completed the online survey as a result of my bad review they offered me a free pizza but as yet NO REFUND. Would definitely give this a wide berth in future.

Ordered online at 5:30 to collect at 7:45. Arrived at 7:45 and waited in shop for 10 minutes without even an acknowledgement. Preparation area in disarray, cheese everywhere. They hadn’t even started to prepare my food and could not tell me how long it would be. I left without my food, got a refund and ordered from Pizza Hut instead. I won’t be bothering them again.

Awful service one hour late still not arrived was ordered at 5-30 for 7-00 pm delivery still not arrived not too service I rang several times not good customer service would not recommend dominos much better don’t diserve custom I’m still waiting and no refund do buy from them ripp off

Staff were great, genuinely. Really friendly, and actually flash you a smile when you go in. That goes a long way. Pizza itself was a bit of a letdown. Very doughy. Could be tempted to try again as these things happen. Jalapeno dippers lovely, and the garlic sauce is as good as it ever was.

Ordered pizza at 7.30pm, an hour later no sign of our pizzas, called the shop to be told they are very busy but can see the pizza is ready & will get straight out with the driver. Another hour passes by at just gone 9.30 pizza arrive & is stone cold not even tepid. Very poor indeed not at all what you would expect from a so called market leading pizza brand. Back to Its Pizza next time.

Wow what a waste of time! We ordered at 17.15, food didnt arrive till after 19.00! This was after 3 phone calls. The excuse was that theirs some roadworks going on. It doesn't take 45 mins or more to get from the shop to my house even in serious rush hour. The last phone call was a return call from the shop telling us that our food was 300 yards away, we can see 300 yards in either direction, no Papa John's delivery car. 45+ minutes elapsed and it arrived. Delivery driver comes round and passes us our food, then as walking away asks if we had paid! Should say that on the boxes anyway. The food was poor standard, pizzas were terrible. A waste of money and time. Will not be ordering again from their. I'd have given zero stars except it wouldn't allow me to. Avoid this place if you have taste buds and don't want to waste time for food.

Rude and unprofessional staff over the phone, not how I'm normally treated when I call to amend something, literally a pizza base.. management needs to have a word! Normal treatment would be a lovely greeting and treating me with respect not an abrupt "Right ok, BYE!" Here's hoping the food is better!

Ordered at 21:20 - rang at 22:29 to be told the food had been dispatched 5 mins previously....rang again at 22:47 because food still not arrived and I mean given I am less than 1mile away from the shop, I am quite concerned about the whereabouts of the food unless the phone operator was actually lying about where the food was. Informed store I want to cancel the order and request confirmation within 15mins it I am referring to Trading Standards...not only for not receiving food but also from being told lies on the phone!! 22:51...food arrives and informed they are very busy...ok so why lie over the phone?! The pizza is a bloody pizza, and after all that time, a cold pizza at that!! not even amazing and certainly not worth £17; the only thing that makes these pizzas are the dips other than that, you can buy nicer, frozen ones along with regular pizza shop...in future, this is where I will be ordering from! 2 mins on microwave and just about hot...avoid at all costs!!

We orderd a large half/half pizza as the children have different.2 sides of wings and jalapeno poppers after 2hours of waiting and ringing the shop asking were it was as it was getting late 10 oclock it arrived from 8 oclock order. As if that wasnt bad we all had diorea through the night/morning the children couldnt go to school and we couldnt go to work absolutely disgusting the place wants closing down (Wigan branch) will NEVER be ordering ever again no pizza shop let alone papa nasty John's. Papa John's is twice as better than domino's or pizza hut. The toppings are more the bread is tastier, and is slightly cheaper. The garlic strips with the cheesy garlic dips are Brill. Delivery time is very reasonable.

Absolutely scandaless i ordered three xxl pizza which were 30 pound in a deal and they had 6 toppings between them and i ordered some wedges to get 50% off but apparently it came up to the grand total of 84 pounds which seemed wrong to. Me and sure it would to you

Not worth the money even with £10 off coupon. I wouldn't call my premium Hawaiian pizza "premium" since I got 4 chunks of pineapple total across 8 slices :-/ Asda's freshly made pizza is miles better for 1/3 of the price :-D

I order every week sometimes it's than once, every time I order. It arrives quick. The deliver are always nice and friendly. They look very smart and properly dressed. The food is boxed in very nice and eye pleasing packaging. The food it's self is very nice looking and very well represented. Looks very tasty. The pizza and starters and deserts are very tasty. It's best food in it's class. The pizza its always amazing, the garlic butter its absolutely fantastic and my favourite! I wish Papa Johns would sell them separate, I would definitely buy lots of it. The cheeseburger pizza its a must, since its just a specific particular flavour that you wont find in any other pizza restaurants. The giant cookie its warm and nice. Papa Johns become one of my favourite pizza places!

Papa John's is absolute garbage! Spent all morning, day and night yesterday with food poisoning so missed a days pay. I don't know if they make them the same bad quality in different areas, but the one in Wigan was awful and I won't be ordering there again.

I have just moved into my new home and I have ordered pappa Johns quite alot, and have joined the gym 😂. Anyway I found myself struggling to the point I had no food. I phoned pappa Johns Wigan and explained my situation. She said come and pick up a Pizza and give me the money when you get paid. To be honest I still feel a sense of 'wow'! How amazing was this lady!i will pay them tommorow but this act of kindness will be with forever. Thank you so much!😊

So, ordered medium pizza from here tonight. Added double jalapeños and extra BBQ sauce. The extras came to £4-20. When the pizza arrived, no BBQ sauce, a few bits of jalapeños and basically a cheese pizza there was so little content on it. Managed to eat two slices through being hungry but it was simply awful. Never again and if I could give less than 1* I would.

Unbelievable pizza, good deals too. Highly recommend, people who rate lower than 4 star don’t know good pizza. That is all

Opened early to make me a pizza

Over-priced pizza barely warm on arrival, looked "grey", incorrect (asked for extra anchovies) and poor quality toppings and not a lot of them either. First and very last time I will order from PJs, I will stick to the non-chain takeaways from now on, lesson...

If I would not have to pay (premium number) for unsubscibing from their texts that I didn't ask for then I wouldn't give one star. Will avoid in the future.

Recommended by a friend so we thought we'd give it a go - ordered the popcorn chicken things and the cheesy bread as starters, chicken was delicious, the cheesy bread needed garlic (I thought I was ordering cheesy garlic bread but misunderstood the menu). I had a medium works and the wife & son shared a Medium Margharita - I struggled to just finish the Works (and I can eat !!! ) and they didn't inish the Margharita between them. Both pizzas were delivered hot and very tasty. Delivery time from placing the internet order to it arriving at our front door was 20 minutes which is outstanding!....Good job Papa Johns Wigan, we will use you again

Papa John really does know how to make great pizza. Arrived within half an hour and was absolutely beautiful. Got a 33% discount when ordering online so it worked out cheaper than Papa Johns rival beginning with a D! All in all we were extremely impressed.

Been twice, and must say that the pizza's are great. Much tastier crusts than Dominos, and really nice pizza sauce too. Some not too bad deals usually on too. I always collect, so don't know about delivery service, but people moaning about teething problems when a new franchise just opens and is obviously flooded with orders are just fools. You get a tub of 'special garlic' sauce for crust dunking, which is not to my taste at all, it's a bit like aioli. Swap to the 'garlic & herb' dip which is delicious, much creamier than Dominos. You also get a random Jalepeno. Not sure why. I will be back again. Yes, it's more expensive than Asda pizza. Obvioulsy. But comparing a fresh dough, fresh baked pizza to a processed dried base pizza sat on a supermarket shelf is just dumb.

Ordered take away last night for the first time. Fabulous food, lovely and hot, excellent quality, just the same as eating in. I love this place!

Ordered twice from here now and both times they've been unable to fulfil the order correctly. First time they didn't deliver a selection of sauces that had been paid for, they where informed instantly but still took over an hour to turn up. By at which point the pizza was long gone. Second time round, it was collection, they failed to give us the ice cream ordered when we first picked up the pizza. After a lap around the block to pop back in there was then a 3 man calamity to get a tub of ice cream from the freezer. The pizza was also look warm at best so by the time we get it home it was a solid piece of cheese. The pizza has been of a good quality both times but majorly let down by the service on each occasion. Unfortunately, will likely not go back again. At least until they book their acts up and get the service sorted.

I had my first Papa John's in Ireland and i really liked the pizza. Then i had one in wigan........... wasn't really feeling it, it tasted a little wack. At least the pizza tasted better than the pizzas in my secondary school though, just terrible, processed crap with little cheese on. The pizza delivered to me was not as good as their competitor that begins with a D. The guy who delivered it was really nice and they came quick. Pizzas are best made fresh at home rather than from some random take away, best try and avoid being lazy and have a good home made pizza for a change.

Had home delivery twice now from here and cannot fault them. Excellent pizzas both times and delivered within 40 mins of ordering. Will defo use again.

It was bad enough that our order was not only incorrect but cold! It took 12days of chasing Papa John's head office in order to get them to click "refund" at PayPal. There are no words strong enough I can use here to dissuade you...

Ordered on line over 2 hours ago. Tried to ring shop but no one answered the phone. Order turned up 20 mins ago. But it was not my order. It was someone else's. So still waiting.

Ordered from here a few times now and have always had good customer service, it's like the employees want you to save money, they tell you all the best deal for your order. Don't use their app it doesn't work. Over all great service from friendly people. Worth the money! And that is a rarity now.
