Papa Johns Pizza in Harlow

Placed an order for the money to be taken, when I phoned the store they had no order, offered no support said it wasn’t their problem and put the phone down on me three times! Ordered and paid yet again! For the order to be wrong when it arrived! cold and tasteless went in the bin will not be ordering from there again and would encourage anyone else to do the same. Would have called and complain but all they do is put the phone down on you. Awful customer service awful food!

I really don't like giving reviews to a company, but this branch in Harlow is just terrible. For the second time in a row, they forgot to bring me the drink I paid for and it still wasn't delivered, it's a complete joke to treat a customer this way. Besides, the pizza was cold. I hope the owner of this branch realizes that this is not the way to run a business.

Ordered at 7. Food came at gone 9. Ordered without onions and it came with onions. Call the store 18 times to be given the run around by a bunch jokers that clearly have no right serving customers. Putting the phone down on a customer, calling me mate, laughing in the back ground. I will not be going back here. Complete joke

Absolute joke! Thanks for cancelling my order for no known reason 40 minutes passed the scheduled delivery time, especially as I had preordered hours earlier! Also really appreciate you not answering the phone when I was trying to figure out what was going on after receiving an email to say there was a problem with my order and I should call. You shouldn’t be in business if you choose to operate with such shoddy customer service!

Always spot on👍 ordered the wrong item on the app and rang them straight away after and they swapped over my order for correct item with no hassle. Great guys and delivery drivers are always lovely.

Great food with great customer service

Pizza smelled really weird, floppy greasy. Manager offered me 50% off next order like I’m ever ordering from there again. Suggest head office look into this branch.

Picked up a pizza a day or so ago. The manager was kind and helpful, providing a very good customer experience.

This is their idea of DOUBLE PEPPERONI pizza. For reference I ordered a large double pepperoni with barely any pepperonis on it. Called the store and the person on the phone admitted he made it and that they were running low on pepperoni so instead of calling me and letting me know or cancelling my order they tried to send me a below standard pizza and hope I didn’t realise. He also hung up the phone on me during the call then eventually promised a refund that I still haven’t received.

Worst service from these guys and its been years now. They keep trying to claim im too far away, they use false GPS data which I always manage to point out is wrong, but after the guy got lost the first time they can't be bothered to return, so they call and either tell me I have to pay more or that I have to come and collect. May I humbly suggest you don't spend your money here as they are really some of the worst service for an area like this. Domino's get it right every time and they are in the SAME PLACE. The person who makes the calls for these guys really let's the team down - every time.

Don't take orders if you aren't going to be working because the football is on. Don't ignore the phone because you are now making an order that I have been trying to cancel. This will be followed up by a formal complaint

First time iv used this company. And never again took me 15 mins to do the guest sign in then processed my payment but never processed my order contacted harlow store then told me I'd have to wait 3 to 5 working days for my refund. That's if they dont take the pending funds from my account. Then id have to prove they took my money. Papa my bank statement wont lie . Cheating company stay away il stick with pizza go go and domminos

Staple tye PapaJohns. Server Aris, front counter/phone. Disgusting and stinking attitude, all I asked is ETA of my pizza and he was giving me stinking attitude and said he was going to phone my back but never did and after I phoned back he said he tried when he didn't, but I gave him benefit of the doubt then he left me on hold for c. 5mins and hung up on me.

Similar review to some previous comments I oreded two pizzas one of them being gluten free. The delivery driver turned up with one pizza and then the gluten free one was literally just an empty box, they said they had tried to call but like many others neither of our mobiles had any missed calls. I then called papa John's in Harlow to ask for a refund as I had sent their one pizza back the guy on the phone told us he had refunded us for the full amount turns out he was a complete liar and this isn't something they can do in store. We're currently in a dispute with thier head office over email as they don't have a phone number to call. Very disspointed as we have been customers to here for years. But technically this is theft as you have taken money for a product you have not given. Be careful when ordering from these cowboys!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Made an order on just eat and hour later it got confirmed then after another 30 minutes the order got cancelled because "they tried calling me" but I had 0 phone calls or texts from them

Extremely poor branch and taste of pizza wasn’t good. Customer service via email responded very well & resolved my issue.

Most stressful and rude experience I’ve ever had when coming to a food delivery! Driver couldn’t find the address even though no one else has issues so tried helping him through with directions on the phone but constantly kept over talking on the phone being rude. Manager was also awful saying the driver couldn’t find where we live so there just not gonna deliver and give us a refund when we had already been waiting an hour for the food explaining how they had more deliveries so didn’t wanna waste time with us. Never again.

Absolutely useless. Do not waste your time with these people. Joke company. Be careful of this lot. Charged me £23 for a pizza that never arrived. 3 weeks later and no refund and head office don't reply to emails. Basically stealing money from people

So disgusted at the customer service! Ordered and delivered but they forgot half the order. Called them four times for each time to be told it’s on its way. Still 50 minutes later not arrived. Wouldn’t mind but live not 5 minutes away from the shop. Disgusting service

Delivery will take over 1hr and the pizza will turn up cold. If you complain to the store, they will tell you “it’s not my problem and contact head office for a refund”. They might offer you a free pizza next time, that’s a lie! Head office have no UK number and only receive emails, but guess what... They don’t reply to emails. Papa Johns may respond to this review and give it the big one... Please contact us and we’ll flag this as urgent, someone will get back to you. Honestly, that doesn’t happen. This Papa Johns needs shutting down, or the staff need replacing.

Not enough options for vegetarians

Ordered meal deal this evening it turned up after an hour and a half later. dropped the food off and looked at us as if he was expecting a tip. After realising we was missing a dish we phoned up and asked for the sides to be sent. Another 40 minutes passes and the dish still haven’t arrived. A real shame because the pizza was actually very nice just the Customer Service is piss poor

The place has got worse and worse. They take over an hour to deliver a pizza after the order status says its on the road and then they put less and less toppings on the pizza some pieces only having one piece of meat on them. Have ordered from them for years until recently. Then thought I'd give thrm a try again well never again.

I have ordered two pizzas for delivery, one with Pepperoni was good, but the other "All Meats" was horrible, as the meat was off. It was the very first time in my life I wasn't able to finish a single slice. I immediately called the shop about their "Quality Guarantee" but it was a joke, all I was offered was 40% off of my next purchase.

They used to be good but after 3 bad deliveries I have to call it a day. The food is not fresh. Had prawns that were off, rotten jacket potato, twice they forgot part of the order and were a nightmare to chase and the worst one was when they delivered cheese with a hair in it.

Orderes for deliver as couldnt collect. Pizza took a hour to to turn up. When it finally did it was cold and i live 2mins away. Clearly been left on the shelf

Second delivery that was incorrect. Spoke to the Manager, as this time we received no dips despite discussing as we had Chicken strips, and he was very rude. The previous time we had no topping on our pizza. Don’t waste your money.

Avoid at all costs. I went to order a pizza to collect. After the employee accepted my cash to complete the transaction they then proceeded to make a pizza and kneaded the dough without washing their hands. How they got a 5* hygiene rating I do not know!! Delivery is not a good experience. They messed my order up and I phoned up to get a unapologetic and rude employee. I will never return!!

Costumer service was bad, no another custumers in the shope and i had to wait 5 min standing till get my pizza, but pizza was ready from the time i arrive. disappointed. Beacon was taste awful. Cant even eat.

STAY AWAY!!! They don't even deserve the one star Reviewers are forced to give. Staff are incapable of following orders. They mess up orders and when phoning for rectification you could be waiting for nearly 2hrs & if you phone again for a refund they say things like "I'm sorry your order got lost in the business but I can give you a discount on your next order". Although that tickled me Supervisors seem unhappy in their jobs too they tell you things like "Do you think I want to be on the phone talking to complaining customers?" and "Are you sure thats not what you ordered?" Apparently this is quality service. Errr No Thanks

Ordered online paid by debit card no pizza arrived so I called store to be told they had not received my order Was then informed I would need to contact head office to get a refund. Papa johns customer care did not answer the phone it went straight to voice mail which was full! So here I am 25quid lighter with no pizza and no hope of a refund the local store really couldn't care less Not even a half hearted sorry about that mate I won't be ordering from them again
