Costa Coffee in Harlow

No staff smiling, bad tasting coffee and old disgusting pastry at 8am in morning clearly not freshly made likely yesterday's and not baked well yet expensive. Shameful lack of pride or care for customers serving like this! Took one bite from pastry and threw rest away!!

I visited this establishment with my grandkids last year and it was genuinley the best coffee experience i have ever had in my whole 77 years on earth!! i am beyond happy with the brunette young beautiful waiter mia (I think that was her name) she gave me coffee good coffee yum yum coffee yum. the only downside was that it was a bit yellow but probably something to do with the machine! However was defainriley amazing and good and Mier was so helpful and beautiful I just wanted to bring her home to bed!!! Joking #LOL😃😃😃 I love Mier and Coffee and good Coffee, my grandchild had a hot chocolate and Mier wrote happy to help on the napkin! So I had it framed and put on my wall, love you mia x

Some of the staff are so miserable it makes it unpleasant to go there.

My recent visit to this Costa Coffee was beyond disappointing, and I can't help but express my utter dismay. The unprofessionalism of one specific staff member, who appeared to be a female of Eastern European descent (not wearing a name badge) was glaringly evident. Her demeanor was not only rude but downright hostile, leaving me and other customers taken aback. What truly emphasized her unprofessional behavior was the way she carelessly slammed utensils onto the counter, making the entire environment uncomfortable and unpleasant. Her disinterested and almost miserable attitude made it seem as though she was being forced to work there against her will. It was evident that she had no passion for providing good customer service. The situation was so disheartening that other customers had to check up on me, clearly sensing the tension and discomfort that her behavior had created. As someone who frequents coffee shops for a relaxing experience, this visit left me truly devastated. Costa Coffee, as a renowned chain, should be held to a higher standard when it comes to the professionalism and friendliness of its staff. It's disheartening to witness such a glaring lack of care and attention to customer experience. I sincerely hope that they address this issue promptly to maintain their reputation as a welcoming and customer-oriented establishment.

They work very hard and fast at the PAH Costa and it's always busy.

very unhappy costa closed at 5pm and manager asked us all the leave when it said closes at 6pm - why take over a franchise in a hospital and not be open for people they need a comfort - leave it to a company that cares

The staff were all so lovely and helpful to me whilst my son fainted in the cafe. All offered support and came to see if we were OK. Thank you so much.

Always have basic items off the menu due to no stock. I think they need a stock manager that can count.

Absolutely rude member of staff at the PAH Costa coffee today at 14.30 Barely asked me what I wanted in one word questions :What? Size? Considering the location maybe staff should take a course on How to treat customers with politeness and consideration on what may have just happened at the hospital I will NEVER buy another over priced drink from there Should have gone and got a M&S coffee next door Very disappointed

Come here for my latte fix and was satisfied with it, pretty girl served me with a smile but my table was grubby and sticky from the last person to sit there and the person before them by looks of it but other than that was fine

Standard Costa Coffee set up, can be very busy at times. Was very clean and the staff were helpful at all times.

I have never been served by more miserable looking staff, they're working in a hospital filled with sick people and their relatives they could at least manage service with a smile. Came in just before 7pm and they were more concerned about doing the cleaning than getting orders through and made properly. The boy serving repeatedly asked what we had ordered and whether we had been served. They couldn't find the right lid for the cold drink so just shoved a random one on making it borderline impossible to drink. Then decided to forget a frostino that had been ordered, proceeded to turn the blenders off and take them away to clean and acted like it was our fault when we asked where the drink was.

Wow.... someone needs to learn the difference between a latte and a cappuccino.
