Good food and service atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.

Great food, but a bit expensive

gave me practically half a leaf of lettuce and 1 pepper. if I pay for salad I expect salad!! upon asking for more I was rudely judged for my tastes and told “that’s enough”. as I insisted on getting my moneys worth, he eventually let me have *a bit* more salad and sauce (still not satisfactory) and AFTERWARDS told me I had to pay him £1.50. he berated me the whole time, and as someone who also works in fast food, I was appalled at the customer service offered, and lack of food quality. I absolutely refuse to even sniff in their direction again.

The worst Doner kebab ever. Dished up with lack of interest. The pitta was barely warm. They charge £10 for a large doner which had hardly any doner meat in. Only travelled 5 minutes home and it was stone cold. Did not taste like any other lamb doner I’ve had from Mid West before. Unfortunately I did not see this put together otherwise I would have complained there and then. Never again. Used to be a busy place with well filled tasty kebabs. They even scrimped on the salad. This is pure greed. There is definitely a lot better out there.

What a total waste of money, I’ve never seen as little meat in a kebab in my life , it used to be the best place in Harlow, I’ve never seen the two blokes who were working tonight before and I’m not going to see them again after being ripped off

The chicken shish is the best I've ever had and I've eaten 100s kebabs The lamb is tasty I get the chicken mostly. It's better than city kebabs

We ordered 1 chicken wrap 1 mixed donner when it arrived chicken wrap dripping with fat .mixed donner cold A replacement was sent no better no taste avoid this kebab house

Absolutely disgusting food don’t order from this place their chilli sauce is like 2 years old and smelt really funny and the portions are unbelievably small. Proper rip offs

Was here yesterday and tbh I won't be returning back ordered 4 meals which cost £30.80 for the smallest of all portions. Chicken kebab which was ordered didn't even taste like chicken and the Donna meat was chewey tbh a tin of cat or dog food would of looked more apertizing. Won't be recommending anyone to try this place

Been here 3 times and it got steadily worse, Lamb donner was cold, bread hard and cold. Greasy and full of oil. The Chap that runs it had an apron on that was covered in food stains and he picked some salad items up with his hands. The same hands that he was using to eat his own lunch. He was also very rude, if the food was hot and not greasy I would have forgiven most but....won't be using again

First kebab .was meant to be large.a few months ago.told to go back and say.ordered tonight take away.another medium. No jalapeños.. Give it miss £19 .could of gone kebabery and got better and cheaper

One of the worst kebabs I’ve ever had!! No effort! Never seen so much oil underneath the pitta bread in the tray. Also do not order a small kebab it’s literally four cubes of chicken in a very tiny piece of bread! Fuming! Really overpriced for a pitiful meal witch we was all looking forward to! Would not recommend!

I have eaten here a few times, with the food being...acceptable, but after the last time, never again! A fair amount of the kebab meat was hard, crispy and almost cold. The pitta bread was cold and burned around the edges. The chips I had to go with it were fatty and almost burned. The staff member, when I complained, seemed like he would rather argue with me and say I had eaten some of it, after looking at what I had brought back to show him, costing me time and petrol, than offering some sort of apology. In fairness to him I had been able to eat some (less than half) of the meat and chips. Luckily another member of staff intervened when we argued and offered a full refund. I can't recommend this shop.

Picked The food up around 4 o'clock. Chicken in kebabs were hard on the outside and the chips were stuck together in a mass, hard, dried out. Will never use this kebab shop again. Probably left over & kept warm since lunch time. The worst take away I have ever had!

Must admit I was a bit sceptical visiting Mid West after reading all the negative reviews on here. Used to use this kebab shop alot 10 yrs ago. Ordered Vegetarian Pizza & Small Chicken Shish Kebab with chips. Everything was absolutely lovely, clean tasting & the staff were friendly & approachable. Thank you Mid West, will definitely revisit.

Awful. Ordered large chips but was tiny. Literally a handful. good as they was reheated. Burger was ment to be plain but had everything in it. And waited over hour for this rubbish

£2.50 for the smallest portion of chips and not that good the out side is dirty and run down wood not go back

Paid with a £20 note, the server despite being unfriendly didn’t give me any change and I did not realise until I got into my car. Went back in to be told they can’t do anything until the boss comes to check the cameras, after coming back twice over the following days with no progress I gave up on getting back the £14 change. I won’t be eating there again!!

I've been coming to midwest for years. Decent enough food, decent prices. Look it isn't going to be a gourmet experience, it isn'teven the best kebab in harlow, but if you're hungry or on a sesh, a midwest kebab will sort you right out mate.

Don't waste your money!!! Just bought a large donor and it is horrendous. Dry pitta bread crispy and over cooked kebab meat and a tiny amount of salad, oh and little bald guy with the moustache is rude. I won't ever buy from this place again.

I bought from here few times and always had tasty and fresh meal. The waiting time is not bad. Prices are comparable to other take-away restaurant's in Harlow. The service is decent. Never had any issue so I recommend this place.

I had a chicken salad and the chicken was like tiny cubes of dog food, absolutely awful. Could not eat. Salad consisted of lettuce two halves of cucumber and one slice of tomatoe. My partners chips were hard and rubbery and the burger just not nice. I had an upset stomach after eating some of this food and when I rang to complain the owner was extremely rude and told me his food is good, everyone likes the chicken salad and he would not listen to my complains!!!! Terrible reaction. Felt like I’d hit a nerve tbh. I Will never order from here again. £15 down the drain. Went for a healthy option and it was awful. Honestly never seen chicken pieces like it. Awful food and awful customer service

We’ve ordered from here quite a bit and food is always hot and delivered well within time specified even on a Fri or Sat evening.

Its Ok.. staff training is required most customer greeting should start with maybe an "hello" and not a nod

BEYOND RUDE AND SEXIST! My partner went in to grab us some dinner and the older gentlement working here was rather rude and arrogant towards her, yet he was perfectly polite to a man in there ordering food. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from one human being to another, customer service? Not at all. I dont understand how these people are allowed to represent a business let alone make food in one.Popping in and having a word wont really do much for these idiots, it will only make them worse. Otherwise I would be straight down there.Idiots

Best minced doner kebab in harlow

I have just had the BEST chicken kebab and chips ever from Midwest. Highly recommend and the staff have always been lovely.

Terrible customer service The food tastes nice but the customer service leaves you with a forever sour taste in your mouth. The imbecile who takes the orders must be losing so much money for the business by his rude and arrogant attitude. I will be going else where from now on.

Had food from here a few times, always collect so can't comment on delivery. The place is clean and tidy and food generally spot on.

Rude staff and very unprofessional not recommended at all.
