Ordered an hour ago and still haven't received the food. Called the store to ask to cancel and refund the order and they said it wasn't possible. On the tracker the order was cooked over half an hour ago and is sitting there waiting to be delivered. Gross. Bad service. No one to talk to and even though the email says to contact the store with any issues theyre not able to do anything. Order a domino's would be my advice

4 of us had pizzas last night, now we are all ill with severe DV and cramps

Spent £50 on a Pizza 🍕 Which is ridículous in itself only for them to lose the order and refuse a refund despite proof of receipt. Pathetic service. Pathetic management. Pathetic people. Pathetic business.

31/07/2024, I placed an order at 18:45, at 19:55 I rang the store requesting an update, where at the beginning of the call explaining the issue, was cut off harshly. I had to be at work in an hour and just wanted to treat myself and S/O with pizza before I went for my 10 hour night shift. The male on the other side of the phone proceeded to say my food would be another hour and a half for delivery, then telling me just to cancel the order and when I attempted to explain that because they put the order as 'being prepared' I was unable to cancel said order, he responded this was not his problem and that he couldn't issue a refund then hung up on me. I attempted to call back to ask to speak to a manager but they wouldn't answer the phone. The delivery driver arrived 10 mins later (so why was I told an hour and a half) and was lovely when I expressed that the person on the phone was very rude, snappy and then hung up on me. He expressed he would talk to his manager, he was lovely. But the male on the phone needs some serious training on talking to customers like humans, I know customers can be rude sometimes but I was not.

The pizza had about 6 slices of pepperoni on the whole 12" And the tasted bland. As did the chicken one. Really disappointed

delivered early prior to booked slot, nobody was home . then when challanged about failed delivery . refused to deliver a fresh pizza . really !!!!!!!!

Unhappy with our order and tried ringing for 30 mins and no answer. We didn’t receive our drink, one of our sides and two sauces

Ordered food online for collection. Got food home to find pizza was made with wrong base and side dish didn’t have desired topping. Pizza also wasn’t very nice. There are definitely better ways to spend £18 on food in town

Im not one to complain but i have an autistic child and he will not eat cold food. Unfortunately both pizzas were absolutely stone cold therefore we had to make him something warm which put a downer on our evening. Really not happy

Waited a hour for food to be told they didn’t have my order, I had a confirmation email and an order no.. was told to get a refund. Rang again 10 mins later and they changed their story saying they had tried to deliver 10 times and no answer. We were in. They offered to re-deliver the same cold food! Still awaiting refund.

Overpriced, late and half my order missing.

Pizza was OK, but the chicken bits and the potato pops were absolutely vile. food arrived just barely warm. in all this was totally over priced for freezer food. the whole experience was a complete let down ... In future don't let Papa John Cook!!! let Mama John do it instead.

Half an hour late and we’re told they only had one delivery driver! Abysmal

I usually go there for some garlic pizza sticks. (They're very tasty in my opinion.) There are no dining tables, because the employees need the room to work with multiple ingredients (i.e. the pizza toppings), the toaster oven, takeaway boxes and pizza dough, etc., leaving customers only the room to order and then wait for their orders. Did you know that Exmouth's Papa John's shop was once closed for quite some time, before it then reopened to the public?

Amazing pizza!! Mini personal pizza onlu £2.19 and with a garlic sauce that’s just perfect! I’ll definitely be back in January once I’m back working in Exmouth City center.

My food was not delivered at all, I tried to call the place several times and no reply, waited hour and half, had to go through the just eat refund process, a nightmare

Placed order ice cream not delivered advised would get refund 5 working days later but no refund left it 2 weeks called back spoke to manager said will get a email confirming refund by Tuesday and nothing.rhey owe me 5.99 and now they aren't picking the phone up.avoid them at all costs.

I collected a pizza on the Too Good to Go app. The staff had no idea. Not their fault, lack of training. The pizza was lovely

First time ordering last night. Great veggie options. Opted for the 'Greek', loved it! Really tasty, hot, prompt delivery. Will definitely be back!

Was a bit unsure about ordering from here after reading previous reviews. However, I can confidently say our experience was overall good! Food was delicious, both pizza and sides. Was stood waiting for a few minutes before being approached by a member of staff, but all of the members looked very busy so I will put it down to this. Our order wasn't ready when we arrived but I will put this down to a fault in the app and I will note that our order was extremely large as well! And on top of this all of the food was still piping hot for us also. Despite the slight negatives, the atmosphere was great and the staff looked like they were having a good time getting the job done and were extremely friendly, was able to have a good laugh while we waited for our order. I don't think we just got lucky with our visit, being a newer store I'm sure the previous reviews were left during a time when everyone was still learning the ropes but I encourage everyone to at least give them a chance, would definitely visit again!:)

Ordered on Christmas Day eve for the kids as Just Eat advertised them as open. No food delivered, payment taken. No refusing to refund and so are Just Eat. Terrible customer services!!

To be honest, I should’ve read the reviews first. But from my previous experience with Papa Johns in other location it o where near the experience I hthis the Exmouth location. My order was “on the way” for more than 30minutues. Called the store advising should be with us within 5-10minutues. By the time it got here, the pizza was cold, garlic bread was over cooked. The worse pizza tho I’ve had, it was so rubbery. The once you get from supermarket are probably even better than this! I did not bother calling back as we’ve waited for oven an hour for our order to come. We were not going to wait

I don't really do 1 star reviews as firm believer that you don't unless you can't think of anything that could have gone wrong. This order got 1 star. The food was rubbery and nothing to really set it apart from a frozen pizza at the supermarket. I liked the garlic dip. Ordered 2 pizzas two sides and bottle of drink and the drink was the best bit. Both sides were ruined from excessive time under a heat lamp waiting for a driver, both pizzas were rubbery and bland. Stuffed crust could do with more stuffing. Overall bland and unappealing.

Awful. Didn't do my order after two hours just cancelled it and still haven't had refund. Went to the shop as they wouldn't answer phone and they said they couldn't do online orders so just kept ignoring them

The staff where friendly but the pizza was horrendous. The 'special dip' was even worse. I had two slices of pizza and ended up enjoying my bowl of Cerial better than the pizza. I wouldn't recommend!

Ordered at 17:57 is 19:30 still don't have my order, I've called 5-6 times been hung up on 4 times, walked to the store and was told I couldn't have a refund, staff are stood at the back laughing amongst each other, really not happy.

Terrible pizza, and terrible dips

Staff are useless, shops a waste of space. Waited 2 hours for the pizza not even to be put into the oven, then told that we can’t be refunded. Still waiting, awful, just go dominoes.
