Papa John's Pizza in Wigan

Over a hour late staff was very rude not helpful at all three phone calls to ask where our order is to be told 5 min 30 min and a following 15 min still not got it delivery time was 7:15 time of actual delivery 8:16 will not be ordering again from them again

Received food after 2hrs. stone cold. Phoned up to complain and they offered me 2 free pizzas next time I order. Phoned today with an order and to get my free pizzas and they said there's nothing on this account and they have never delivered to my address. I'll stick to dominoes.

Wow. Ordered from Leigh once before and completely messed uo my order. Left it a long while before I even wanted to order again. And low and behold they did it again. We’re all veggie…they send cheesy tots out with bacon/ham on. Spent 15 mins ringing explaining to then all the food going cold. Over half an hour to get a replacement. Feel like banging my head on the wall with this place

Good deal for our meal. The bbq chicken sauce covered the pizza and was too much sauce on it. Had to scrape a lot off before I could eat it. However we do enjoy PJs pizzas

store in leigh. absolute joke, came with half of what i ordered and told me they would be right back with the rest. after an hour of waiting i rang up and they hadn't even sent the driver and offered to give me the missing items for free on the next order?? Anyway 3 hours later and 5 phone calls i got the rest of the order. Joke this place, lazy grumpy staff ruins it. Go to Dominoes instead!

I called in on the way home and ordered a chicken and mushroom on large and a vegan garden on a gluten free base... They were extremely busy with digital and telephone orders, but my pizzas were ready within 15 mins. Oh my... So tasty! We both enjoyed them. Thank you Papa John's. ☺️😋🧡

Very few toppings on the Hawaiian pizza, looked more like a Margherita, quite disappointing having to pay extra for that.

Terrible service .. over an hour late delivery.. arrived cold. Called several times and they hung up on me!

UPDATE - Included a screenshot of my order and they claim I didn’t include enough details for them to help 😂 Ordered through Deliveroo, after several phone calls of being told lies that the driver was delayed, traffic jam, being told it will be there in 15 mins multiple times in a row, and being told the driver has engine problems, I finally spoke to someone who told me they didn’t have my order. I asked for a refund, to be told they can only start the order and deliver it to me now. Told me to contact Deliveroo if I wanted and order, once I did, they told Deliveroo it has been delivered and refuse to provide the order or offer a refund…. Yet the order still hasn’t been delivered two hours past when we ordered.

Tried the new festive pizza, barely had any flavour at all, brownies were great as usual though

It is saying buy one get one free. But they are charging for both pizza.. . Then what is meant by buy one get one free offer???

Awful, pizza arrived like it had been shaken about in the box, not that it made a difference really as there was no topping on it anyway, worst pizza I have ever had, and I have been to five guys before anyone asks!! And it was twenty five quid before the discount, get one from the supermarket..they are so much better than this garbage!

It was rush hour traffic so really can't complain on timing. Only 2nd time for having Papa johns. First time was truly excellent!! This time was disappointing. Hawaiian pizza had one tiny triangle of pineapple on each slice except 2, those 2 slices had 3 tiny pieces of pineapple on them. Probably more expensive than most but thought it was worth it first time around. Not so this time.

Our new go to takeaway for pizza night, really tasty pizzas and the selection of sides are the best around. Some much nicer than the other big pizza chains

Papa Jones (Corp) took the order online. Then Leigh shop said they never receive it. No idea what happened and Papa Jones App makes refunds very difficult. Store can't help, they never got the order. Update, and reason I'm leaving this up: Leigh store just tried to call me on my phone at 00:55. Presumably in response to this review of what actually happened. Don't call people up at 1am.

I ordered online and had a problem with the order at the end where one of the pizza’s hadn’t been added to get the discount (all my own fault i presumed) but they said sometimes it happens with online orders they were so helpful and honered the deal i would have got i would definitely recommend this and return 100%

I collected pizza from here for the first time. It’s was very delicious pizza. I met a pizza maker boy his name is Ansh. He works very well and quickly which I like very much.

We ordered to take away food for a family gathering, it was quite a big order, mixed items. All cooked perfectly, all together no messing, and, despite the size of the order, nothing missing!!

I just had the most delicious pizza & felt compelled to write a little review. I order once a month (roughly) and I have to say Leigh Papa John’s have never let me down. Speedy delivery & friendly service, orders are almost always 100% but tonight was heavenly! Such an MVP when you have had a hectic/difficult day!

This is my local Papa Johns and I think it's absolutely great service is always fantastic really nice really friendly very polite food is always great hot and fresh I would recommend

Dry and tasteles ,not like other papajohns

Nice pizzas but cross contamination is an issue. Use same hands without gloves to top pizzas with meat and veggies. Doesn't wash hands in between making pizzas, so any meat residue on hands will be put into next pizza. Problem if ur a strict vegetarian.

Ordered food for delivery 3 hours in advance, Order still turned up 45minutes late. 2 burnt but cold pizzas, and a portion of jalapeño poppers, rang shop spoke to the manager to get fresh ones delivered no joy. Was told I would receive and email from himself with an apology and my same order would be free. I'm still yet to receive an email. I highly doubt I will either. I won't use a papa johns again. Order number was 69304786 UPDATE,,,,,,,,,after my initial review papa johns head office got in touch and sorted out my problem,I picked up my free new order last night Saturday 30 September. ( wasn't really free as I'd paid the week before ) but thank you to them for sorting it out, I picked up last nights order just to make sure it was fresh. Jalapeño poppers where delicious. Pizzas was ok not enough cheese or toppings pizza was very dry. In all honest truth I'm made up papa johns sorted the initial rubbish service But their pizzas are just not good enough for the prices, I'd rather get asda make my own cheaper plus lots and lots of toppings and cheese. Sorry papa johns but I'd never order food from yourselves again.

Amazing pizza and great promotions

I did not receive my Cookie Dough - Ben & Jerry's ice cream part of my order so i would like to have that part of my order refunded to me if possible.

I received a leaflet through the door offering 'Any Large Pizza for £7.99.' Collection only. I have never eaten anything from Papa Johns, so after a good workout at the gym, I decided to use the offer as it expires on the 27th of August, 2023. There was no queue when I arrived at the shop at about 7.15pm. One of the staff was dealing with a customer on the phone. So another staff member came over and took my order. Less than 10 minutes and my pizza arrived. It probably took me about 15 minutes to get home and sort a few things out before I was able to sit down and eat my pizza. The Hawaiian Pizza was very tasty. As the pizza was large, I had two pieces left over. May be a little snack later or lunch tomorrow. I am glad I have finally visited Papa Johns: tasty pizza, friendly staff, quick service, and a good price with the deal offer. Would I pay the full price once the offer goes off. Probably not. I will definitely visit agin when another good offer comes my way. Unfortunately, my photograph only shows my leftover pizza.

Don't trust Just Eat on opening times. This store opens at 3pm yet Just Eat allowed an order to be placed at 13:45 and said it would be delivered between 14:25-14:45. It then updated and said food was delivered at 14:45 before the shop had even opened. Luckily when the shop did open and they found an order waiting they made it immediately and as I rang to see if there was an issue they were just leaving with the food. Cant fault the service but best to order direct

They rang me to tell me they had no vegan options and I haven't even got a refund yet... Don't bother wasting your time If your vegan left me disappointed and no money to order summit else from somewhere else. I'm fuming I want a full refund now. Right now.

Ordered online through their website and it took me 3 attempts for my order to go through. When the food turned up i didn't even recieve half of it. I rang up the restaurant to see what had happened and they apologised and took my order again, I was told to return what I had already recieved upon the re delivery which I thought was odd and so did the delivery driver, but I was happy enough to do so. Once we sat down with our food for the 2nd time we noticed one of the pizzas was missing a topping and I was given the wrong ice cream. This was my first experience with papa johns in leigh and i really didn't feel comfortable ringing up a 2nd time. The food was good, but not sure if I would return. The only positive thing i would like to mention is the delivery driver was friendly and polite.

First time trying Papa John's, had seen very good reviews about them beforehand. Not disappointed at all, the good review points were true: friendly staff, tasty food, fast service and no queue, good value for money. Will go back again next time I visit the area!

The team are happy to help if there are order issues in the past. Though they can be seen as expensive the time saved and service DEFINITELY make up for it.

Always fresh tasty pizza and sides. My favourite cheesy garlic sticks with a touch of garlic and herbs dip tastes amazing and unique every time. Staff are always nice and helpful and I love the fact that I can dine in. Highly recommended

Food came pretty quickly. Young lad that delivered the food was very friendly. Few dips that we paid for missing but no big deal. Food was delicious, pizzas were very nice especially the Branston Stuffed Crust.

Absolutely amazing place to eat fresh hot food

Recently ordered via Uber large pizza and dips. Pizza was delivered in a dirty old builders van and looked like it had been dropped, also dips were missing. They offered to replace but would have had to wait 30 minutes which I couldn’t as had other food ready to eat. When I asked could they not credit me they said no. I have since contacted Papa John’s customer service and they are not interested either referring me to Uber, correct me if I’m wrong but Uber don’t make the pizzas. I won’t be ordering from Papa John’s again.

First time ordering from the Leigh branch. They arrived with the wrong order. I rang and requested fresh pizza as it would have been sitting there waiting. They arrived back again 10 minutes later with stone cold pizzas, wouldnt accept them from the driver. Better sticking with Domino's.

Won a large pizza I ordered American hot , it was gorgeous me and hubby shared it so nice and doughy just umm nom nom and my hubby is fussy we have a winner lol ,will order again deffo staff was lovely and friendly and too be honest Not expensive no pic as couldn’t wait eat it lol thanks papa John for my prize

This place does a massive s**t on dominos

Pizza was nice, similar to domino's. I must admit domino's is better but it's a nice change. Still way better than pizza hut. Arrived quick and pizza was very warm. They do really nice desserts better than domino's. Price is about the as domino's and pizza hut. Will order again just for the desserts.

Papa John's (Leigh WN7) I should have gone to Domino's. First time trying and was disappointed. Used a 50% discount voucher which brought the price down from an eye-watering £60 to £30 for three pizzas, no sides. Not a bad pizza per say but not as good as Dominos and much more expensive.

Wow! Great pizza!! Double Pepperoni, garlic bread with cheese, bbq meat feast! Really recommend above dominos and Pizza Hut 😍 arrived fresh, hot and on time 😋
