Ordered online to be called and have my order cancelled as they didn’t have any vegan chicken. Totally fine and understandable. Reordered only to be called again and told they didn’t have vegan cheese. But wasn’t told this the first time. So ended up having two orders cancelled and have to wait 3-5 days for the refund. Literally terrible customer service and absolutely disgraceful that they can’t cater to normal dietary requirements.

We've used this branch at least 6 times in the last 6 months and have never had an issue. The girl who works on the front desk is always friendly and helpful to us. Our pizzas are always very good quality we normally go on Wednesdays for their Wacky Wednesday offer. I can't fault this branch at all and am surprised at the negative reviews which don't go into much detail at all so as to lead me to believe they are fake. I'd recommend Caerphilly Papa John's all day long. We were even able to order half and half with one half the new Bull's Eye sauce.

Dominos is way better, this place is horrendous

Not sure why there reviews are not great. I ordered a pizza, a pizza was delivered exactly what I ordered the food was hot and fresh and the deal I had was great value for money I would definitely order again.

All of order was wrong. Staff were rude and wouldn’t refund or give us our actual order

My husband and I have always preferred Papa John to Dominos because we felt that, although more expensive, it was worth it because of the freshness and amount of toppings present on the pizzas. However, we have noted a decline and as of this last order, we have decided we will no longer be purchasing from here. We spent £29 for ONE large pizza. Although that is a lot of money in my opinion, it would have been worth it to me IF there had been plenty of toppings. However, as you can see, the toppings were very sparse. In fact, I'd say the average was three small pieces of meat and 3 to 5 veggies scattered on top of a cheese base. Was it fresh when it arrived? Yes. But the flavor lacked because, again, there was very few toppings. Thank goodness for dipping sauce to add a bit of excitement. I'm disappointed and will go back to Dominos or the local grocer for value or just make my own. Shame on you Papa Johns, you can do better.

Phoned up after seeing an order sat on the "checking and cutting phase" for almost 30mins, spoke to a rude woman who couldn't have cared any less (didn't even say hello), told me a story about how its just come out of the oven, because my order was a certain number, then a different number when I questioned her on it, quoting the times on the tracking update, and asking if it's accurate. Ended up cancelling my order due to her attitude - won't follow up with any orders from there again.

I love papa johns but this week I was really looking forward to an order I put in for delivery before 6pm. I had to phone when it came to there being no sign or notification. I was told it had only just gone in the oven. It then arrived around 2 hours later than the confirmed time. The dips I paid for were not in the box for me and the pizza looked very rushed and I didn't enjoy it by the time it arrived. The driver was very nice and polite. But the whole experimece has put me off ordering again and I absolutely usually love your pizzas. Been a customer for years and years

Delivery people at papa johns are always late and thats not their fault as i believe PJ's overpromise on delivery times

After an hour and half, gave up. What a pile of rubbish. Phoned to complain but they only have 2 people working. We'll don't bother taking people's money and shut. Papa John should investigate this franchise..

Ordered 2 Pizzas at 8pm on a Tuesday night (not exactly peak time!). 1h45min later and still no idea where this pizza got to. The tracker showed the pizza as delivered but it never was (I even checked and the address I gave is correct). I was just told the driver is on his way but that was ages ago. Asked for my order to be cancelled and for a refund now as it's taking the piss. Staff unhelpful and not bothered. Won't be ordering with you again. Update: It's now 22:20 and a lovely delivery person (Mark from Bridgend) has delivered the pizzas. Poor guy hadn't even been told that the order was cancelled. I took the pizzas in as I haven't had any confirmation that I'd get a refund (no email, no nothing).

Ordered a pizza at 8pm on Tues. 1h45min & x3 phone calls later - still no pizza. The girl we spoke with was unhelpful & uninterested. Asked for order to be cancelled & refund issued. Pizza then turned up at 10:20pm despite us asking to cancel it - the girl in the store hadn't bothered to tell the delivery driver (who was lovely, appreciate not his fault). Won't be ordering with Papa John's again - avoid.

food was lovely, we’d heard they garlic balls were banging… we didnt think literally. the garlic dough balls exploded upon opening the box

Is it possible you can stop your staff using the disabled car parking space outside you premises as there person staff parking And also stop reserving the space for yourselfs by blocking it with large veolia bins

Food was fine, over an hour for delivery still waiting for the missing drink. Do they care? nah !! AVOID AVOID AVOID. Dominos next time for me

I wrote a 5 star review last night, but had bad service tonight - the "manager"I spoke to, and the opposite of helpful - even enjoyed it when I tried to not necessarily complain, but sort it. Clearly she just wanted to finish her shift asap

Enjoyed this place for years but am completely ashamed of it now. For those who don’t know, a 17 year old worker was being paid 4.81 per hour which is already an inhuman and unsurvivable amount in 2022. They asked for a free pizza from the boss because they were so broke they were unable to eat and they were ridiculed and given the whole “I had £3 an hour when I was your age” speech as if that means ANYTHING AT ALL The food is half decent, nothing special and would do in a pinch - but the guy who did this is a complete lowlife who deserves to be poor forever

Poor service, poor pizza, poor ethics. Pappa John's do you reply or just fob people with the its all franchises in the uk? Avoid at all costs.

The way the management treats his staff is absolutely shocking. Will never visit and highly recommend others not to visit.

Staff not at all curtious. Basic manners are surely built into the hospitality industry, but not reflected here.

Staff like to assault customers when they ask the staff why they have parked in the disabled bay stopping folks that have a blue badge from using them. Sam the franchise owner assures me that he's told his staff not to park there but yet this evening they are doing it again. Don't take my word for it see the photos yourself.

Food ok but when we picked up for collection, they hadn’t even started making our order. We stood there and watched them make our order in front of us and the manager had the cheek to tell us that our food was ‘cooking twice’ and thats what is taking so long. Food was thrown together and they forgot to put icing on our scrolls. Wouldn’t bother at this branch again

Ordered a pizza and the offer voucher didn't work so ended up paying full price. The waited 45 mins before calling the store only to be told that delivery would be another hour. Won't be ordering from here again!

First time I ordered from papa John's, and wouldn't go near it again due to incompetence. Ordered a pizza and 3 dips, they got the order wrong.... Twice

Normally good but this time hardly any toppings must be running low

We have ordered a few times from here now. The only reason we keep going back is because they have vegan options. Honestly the food is great some days and then other days it’s horrible. You never know what you are going to get. It’s about 50/50.

I do enjoy these pizzas, i make up my own toppings to order .. I tend to order on line, I haven't been disappointed yet. The delivery drivers are fab and always polite.

Iv been ording for papa John's for a long time now and they stop Delivering to graig y rhacca cuz it takes to long from the driver to get back i think its wrong so what machen is the same is it it need to sorting out please

First time at Papa Johns looked forward to a good Pizza I was very disappointed I had a 12 in meat feast their was very little cheese their was no flavor to the Pizza I had an order of potato wedges when I got home I had chicken nuggets instead I will not be returning

Nice flavours on the pizza and not overly greasy which makes a pleasant change to other pizza deliveries. Quite pricey but worth it

Food Is nice, but would be good if they didn't forget anything. Ordered 3 times and 3 times they have forgotten something. Forgot my pizza tonight.
