Why is it so hard to put the dips that ive payed for in the boxes, every single time just getting scammed out of money.

Ordered purely because it was in the list of ‘food that arrives in 30mins’. Over an hour later it arrived luke warm. I suggested to the driver that it was cold, he then opened the box and put the back of his hand on my pizza to explain it was hot. It wasn’t. And now I have a pizza that someone’s had their hand in. Not impressed.

Not good very slow and poor service. Be warned you wait a long time for your delivery far longer than domino's delivery.on the same street. tracking service is comical. They take my review as a result of two bad experience's. .

If u want your order to never turn up or take 2 hours this the one They also take 30mins to answer the phone. Do NOT order here its a waste of money and time

I received a bottle of tango instead of Pepsi, the food is cold and we didn’t receive the dip that we asked for

The size of this pizza was terrible in regards to the cost of the pizza. It was £21 for a portion slightly bigger than a hand- it was a child’s size. I am very disappointed in this order.

Both pizzas and sides where cold And took over an hour to arrive really going downhill

Ordered 2 pizzas, one being vegan as one of us is clearly a vegan (who would order vegan cheese otherwise, it's pretty disgusting). Got a call back and was told they had run out of vegan cheese, and asked us to swap to a different pizza. (Well you have already said that you don't have vegan cheese, so how are you going to offer a vegan friendly pizza if you have no vegan cheese? ) We told them no thanks, we'll just cancel the order please. The guy passed the phone over to someone else. "Well we can deliver one pizza tonight, and can deliver the other pizza tomorrow night for you". Erm.... No thanks. We wanted to eat it tonight. "It's only 1 pizza"... What do you mean it's only 1 pizza? It's someones dinner!" And why should we pay for 2 pizzas and get 1? We'd just like a refund! We were then told that they can't process a refund, as they don't have the authority, and we should ring back tomorrow after 5pm as there will be a manager.

I got the complete wrong order when there driver delivered…tried to contact someone (store is shut) i understand that its was almost 12:00am but its not that hard to read the address properly on the order + i was allergic to some of the ingredients in the wrong order, thank god i did eat it.

Food turned up lukewarm. 25 mins after it left the shop. Very disappointing

3d time i order from this store and third time the delivery is very late and my pizza comes cold and not eatable. last time I order from the Caterham store.

We order from Papa Johns in Caterham roughly once a month/every 6 weeks - in the past couple of months the delivery has been delayed but the temperature of the food was acceptable. This weekend our food arrived cold and 35 mins later than anticipated. What’s worse is that their online tracker showed it was cooked an hour before arrival - when we phoned to ask for an update the tracker stopped 🤔. Not a great experience which was raised with PJs, they haven’t bothered to respond so I will take my business elsewhere.

How would you like your pizza? With 2 inches of crust? Not!

45 minutes late, food cold, no apology. Usual ‘there’s traffic’. It was only 1 pizza I ordered. Ridiculous service.

Was a great pizza but just also had a slight issue in there no pizza sauce on the pizza 🤣

Ordered a pizza today, it turned up 55 mins later that the time said, rang the shop 1st time guy when it was late, guy said to me driver left 15mins ago with your order, 35 mins later still no delivery, rang up a second time, guy said to me driver will be there in 3 mins, 15mins later pizza gets delivered out of the boot of a car that smells like a old oily mechanic my pizza was sitting on top of some jump leads, and to top it of pizza was cold, I will not be spending my money there again

We had a large party order of 21 pizzas which we phoned up a few days before to get a quote which was very reasonable. Peter was very accommodating to have it delivered over 2 deliveries and even changing the order details on the fly. The pizzas arrived bang on time and very hot. Thank you very much!

I bought 2 pizzas, and I waited 2 hours and it still didn't come! Do not take away or wait 5 hours for a pizza!

Unfortunately the food was late and lukewarm. I also asked to be called when it arrived rather than using the doorbell due to people being asleep, however this was ignored. The order was correct though :)

food is fine.. but your delivery driver needs sacking! just turned up and basically threw my pizza boxes at me.! I order all the time but this guy was unbelievable..

Delivery times have gotten really bad. The last time I ordered the pizza took an hour and a half to arrive and it was stone cold. I didn’t complain and gave them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered again today and after waiting 65 minutes I called up to see where my food was to be told it would be 10 minutes. 20 minutes later it still hadn’t arrived so I cancelled my order. I am hoping to receive my refund as I was told I would receive it in 2-3 days.

Pizza arrived 2 HOURS after we placed our order! Took 4 attemps of calling the restaurant to get an answer (about 1hr 30 after we ordered it) - sounded an unfortunate sequnce of events as their system apparently went down then they got 60 orders all at once. I feel like expectations should have been managed much better though - no update from JustEat or Papa John's about the delay and an updated delivery time. If we'd have known we would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. I think a refund is deserved for a wait this long to be honest - we didn't eat until quarter to 10 at night, not quite what we imagined when saying 'we'll get a JustEat takeaway with the football'. Terrible experience.

Order was late and the food was cold. The delivery driver was very apologetic but didn’t detract from how long we waited and the lack of information from the restaurant.

Over a hour for the delivery when I called the restaurant they told me that they don’t have enough driver to do delivery.

Gave me chicken rather than the vegetarian option I ordered, food had to be thrown away

Pizza not cooked properly and gave us all stomach ache. The chicken we could not stomach as it was also not cooked well and had a bad taste and smell suggesting it was off. Very disappointed and we would appreciate someone to contact us for a refund. Thanks

Absolutely disgusting! Freezing cold food and I ordered extra toppings which where not on the pizza. Phoned up to ask them what’s happened to my toppings and why it’s freezing cold! They couldn’t care less. Oh will send you another and pick the other up. So that means waiting another 1hour Will definitely not be ordering from here again! £56 for incorrect food! Absolute ripoff

Excellent food full of toppings with friendly customer service with very quick and efficient delivery time. An all round excellent experience!!. Would 100% recommend anyone to order from here and you won't be disappointed Would definitely be going there again

Ordered 1.5 litre bottle of tango orange received 1.5 litres of Pepsi max instead Told estimated delivery time would be 19.00 to 19.20. After twenty minutes contacted just eat was told sorry restaurant was busier then expected delivery would be 19.50 Turned up 20.00pm Drivers order was different to mine ref drink ordered. So I showed him my order on the just eat Have kept the Pepsi even tho I don't drink the stuff but may be a visitor will one day

Really bad delivery. I had made a order at 19:15 and still at 22:15 my order has not arrived. I’ve called up 3 times and the customer experience has been dreadful. Papa John’s really have let us down tonight.

Driver was kind and even gave us ice cream to try and make up for the food being late with I thank him for and respect however the food was late.

It was early and nice. Only thing is they didn’t put in the dip I ordered but no biggy.

Food ok but nearly 1 HR late. Rang the restaurant twice - first time there was a half hearted apology but they wouldnt assist other than to say it was on its way, and second time they didn't even bother to answer. Not again.

This Papa J is legit the best one i've ordered from. Consistently producing an even spread of toppings with a decent Base: Sauce: Cheese: Toppings ratio. They've always promptly delivered food that's hot, no warm or soggy sides here. The service from picking up the phone to the delivery guy, is quality.

Order over an hour late and an item missing when it arrived

Food was pretty good, it was delivered nice and hot as well as on time, the only real issue was the delivery driver was pretty impatient. Rang the door bell once and 5 seconds later rang it again

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for PJ for a while and finally found a spare moment. I was very surprised to see the poor review score for them as our experience has be great. I can honestly say they are the only pizza delivery/collection company that has always supplied great pizza. In fact, we have not ordered from any other company for almost a year now. They have a wonderful in store staff who greets me every-time I go collect my order.

Amazing service, really friendly drivers and really good pizza. Would 100% order again.

Was disappointed at first that the food would be coming in over an hour but it actually turned up after about half an hour which was a great surprise. Really happy how quick was my order

Slow delivery and ice cold food. Website tracker said I had received my food 20 minutes before it even arrived! Not great for my first order!

Don't oftenly order takeaway pizza but thought I'd take advantage of a special offer, wish I hadn't bothered. Ordered a BBQ chicken, no BBQ sauce and looked anaemic. Bacon and cheese sticks were no better. Few bits of bacon chucked over, nothing like the picture on the website!

Disgrace. Avoid like the plague. One of their drivers came to the door with the order, threw the first box at my partner, he took it into kitchen and came back, the driver then rammed the pizza box into my partner's bad arm (he had serious shoulder surgery literally the day before, was freshly bandaged with his arm in a sling so was blatantly obvious). Must of called the branch 30+ times to complain, no one answered. Finally got through, was told they would speak to driver, who said he hadn't seen his arm was in a sling but if he had he would of tried to help more... Total lie. So basically, this company is discriminative against people with non-visisible disabilities, whether long term or temporary? No respect for their customers at all. Not once has anyone from the branch called to check my partner is ok. They had the cheek to send an email and offer my partner a free pizza... Seriously?? No thanks! We will just continue to tell as many people as possible to steer clear. Do you really want to order from a company that treats people like this? You decide.

Got charged £3 delivery for apparently being over 5miles away when in fact when Googling for number to call them i am 4.9 miles.away to which i explained when finally getting through onthe phone but i could.not underdtand what the man said. Also good wasnt great and wasnt very hot so wouldnt order from them again

Delivered very late and when we called to ask them about it they just don’t answer the phone (I called 10 times). So in the end I had to go out before it was delivered and had to buy another meal. Will stick to dominos in the future.

Delivery person went to wrong address, he called and left a voicemail message while I was on another call - eventually we spoke and I gave him directions but food was lukewarm when it arrived, quite disappointing considering I live a 2 minute walk and on the same road as Papa John's

My daughter is a vegan and loves the choice and the pizzas, as does her fiancé.

Disappointed that the pizza featured peperroni which I detest and which was not mentioned in the listing. I thought I was just getting peppers and chilliest. Managed to pull the peperroni off but there was still a residual taste and the topping was nowhere as spicy as I had hoped. Had to add my own jalapeños to make it half decent.

Delicious pizza. Very good quality.

Yummy as usual. Slight issue with our order which is unusual as had never had an issue before. Fixed really quickly and weren't too fussed when I asked for a replacement. Thank you!
