Two hour wait, stopped answering the phone 🤣. Avoid this place. Order from somewhere else.

Imagine not even doing delivery within a mile radius

Let's you order food whilst you're 5 minutes away just to get a phone call and be told you'll have a refund in 3-5 working days. Might as well close at 9:45 and reject payments from 9:30

First time I ordered online for collection, I went in one hour before close and they told me its already closed 🤣 I asked what about my money then as I paid online, they said they will refund money within 3-5 days, I'm still waiting Second time I ordered, I walked in, asked for deals on single pizza, was told there is none so I ordered for collection on the app for £11.99 Then manager came over and said that if I ordered in store it would be £9.99 and for £11.99 I could get XXL if ordered in store. I said that I asked his colleague, but he didn't inform me of their in store deals and asked if I can have XXL instead of large then, he said "no" and laughed 🤣 Well done on earning additional £2 on my order, I will never get food from there again and I live 5min away, the manager is a businessman of a century 🤣🤣🤣 I'm sure dominos will gladly take my money instead

Papa John's Cardiff Bay have just catered for our large group of hungry rugby boys at Cardiff International White Water Park. There were 60 adults and children in total and the manager Shiva looked after our order very professionally from the start of our enquiry to the successful timely delivery. The Pizzas were well appreciated by the whole team, parents, coaches and the staff at the Park as well! Thanks again!

They can't be bothered to deliver to me even though I live less than a mile away. Pathetic. Whoever came up with that needs to be smacked.

placed order thru just eat @22:23 and order confirmed, received a call @22:24pm from store to say they dont deliver after 22:30pm? I am confused + google says u open till 23:00pm. Is dis a joke or i am missing something? o.O

Been getting pizza's from here for years because I like them & they deliver...well, they use to! 1.5 miles away...5 mins by car & they now don't deliver! Spoke to a very obnoxious woman when I couldn't order online...explained to her that I was close & had pizza delivered before but no "we don't deliver to your address" is all she could say!! Contacted customer service the next day & I get the same snotty, obnoxious result...after weeks of trying, I'm now sick of them all!! From now on I'll get my pizza's from Domino's...they're further away but at least they are courteous & deliver.

Amazing pizza and speedy service! Just had the best pizza and extras in Cardiff. Base is far superior to other pizza places, and the toppings are generous. I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Thank you!

It's simply my favourite of all takeaway pizza joints - pizza is always good from there and the staff are really friendly. Would give 6 stars if possible 👌🤝

ordered online at 6.30pm for delivery 7.30pm, food arrived at 8pm and was stone cold, delivery driver half asleep (at thats me being polite!!) we had called the store twice regarding our delivery as online it kept stating that the food was delivered when it wasn't. when the food did turn up cold we called the store for the third time to complain and had a very rude female manger tell us basically thats tough. I loaded the pizzas in to the car and took them back to the store where she stuck her finger in our food and said she would be happy with that!! after a lot of back and forth we eventually received a refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE AS THEY JUST DON'T CARE AND STAFF ARE RUDE.

Staff can't take orders, the app wouldn't work for collection, the staff didn't know the store postcode, ordering couldn't happen so had to leave without ordering. They couldn't process an order without the app and then couldn't assist with an app error I had a reply to contact them, but the email on the reply doesn't exist.... Just like this store to be clueless.

Ordered a delivery from these muppets and after an hour and 15 mins decided to call to chase it up. Sadly was told they were delayed due to the “driver being a slow driver” and it was “moments away”. Sadly after another 10 mins it showed up,when the driver handed the creased box to me it felt stone cold,so I decided to check it there and then only to find an Insipid wet cold looking effort. I sent it back straight away and requested a refund. The driver informed me that my food has been sat in restaurant for half an hour waiting as he was the only driver working???!!. So I called the store and asked for a refund from a very arrogant and rude young lady who told me to call back tomorrow. Sadly the next day after no answer from the store i had to report it to customer service. Since then after multiple emails and messages still no reply or refund and now having to take to social media. DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT !! they are totally incompetent and the more I dig to find out about them the more unsatisfied customers I’m finding out about who have paid money and record nothing.If you are one of these people report it to trading standards as it’s truly an awful establishment with no care for its customers.

Please don't tip this store. The tips don't reach the staff.

I m not big fan of PPJ but different offers, great deals, hot and fresh food, fast delivery, those reasons made me to be lazy, no more cooking on the weekend. :)

Once if you make a mistake is a genuine mistake, twice if you make a mistake its negligence/ignorance. Twice the same Cardiff Bay branch has spoiled my order and after making a complaint there was no apology rather "what are your expecting". They think every customer is after a voucher etc, we not all. Some are just looking forward for a nice accurate meal to enjoy with family/friends, which Papajohn's at Cardiff Bay fails to execute.

Bland sauce and not value for money. I had American hot and a Hawian large pizza 🍕 To be honest the supermarket ones had more taste. Would not buy again.

Diabolical customer service. I ordered last week for delivery. After an hour and a half I phoned them to see where it was and they said it was ordered for collection. Even the email stated for delivery and I told them this and I asked if they could cook them fresh and send them to me, I was told that they would not. I requested a refund instead and ordered from Dominos. When I complained the following day via a customer satisfaction email. I had an email from the manager offering me a free pizza. I have just tried to claim this but been told that I have to do it online. I explained that there is no credit on my online account therefore ordering online would involve me paying. I was told that I could only order online. The man I spoke to claimed to be the shift leader and was really unbelievably rude.

Spent over 2 hours trying to order. Put our postcode in on just eat and started to order from it, they then cancelled the order for no reason. We phone up this non English speaking guy answered and said there’s been no order and we ain’t been charged, then we went on the app to do it tried using the promo code of 50% off when you spend £45 didn’t work, rang up and he said we need to order online which is exactly what I tried to do, hung up the phone and we tried again and then it still hadn’t gone through finally 2 hours later and we’ve placed an order, tried to ring to change the address as the app is so disorganised he said I’m asking too many questions and I won’t be able to order from them ever again and hung up. Disgusting service with rude staff place needs re thinking

Terrible experience for my first delivery order from Cardiff Bay store. Driver didn't have a clue where he was going. Pizza was cold when it arrived. Will never order from Cardiff Bay again.

Our whole family love Papa John's pizza. I'm vegan so I love that they now offer dairy free cheese! The DF cheese was lovely and gooey and hit that pizza spot. We bought several large pizzas here for our daughters birthday and the children are loads. Brilliant.

Food is tasty if it actually shows up. Staff are rude and ignorant, resulting to shouting and intimidation techniques to avoid giving refunds. Would give minus stars if I could. Avoid at all costs!

Better value than competition. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food, especially new options for vegans.

Used to be good, but now very skimpy with toppings. Extra cheese and there were patches with no cheese at all!

Called ahead to make my order and it was ready when i got there 20 minutes later. Staff are friendly. Most importantly pizza was tasty!

Had a sausage and pepperoni. It was very nice. Staff were friendly and fas. However, I do think Dominos and Papa John's are crazy expensive for what they are though. Outside of two for Tuesday you can't possibly justify paying that much for a pizza, it is just bread, tomato and cheese. The mark ups percentages must be insane!

Best pizza I've had in a long time

I ordered a pizza and it didn't have enough Meat topping on. I phoned the store to discuss as per the 'Papa John's Quality Guarantee' but the staff didn't listen to me and insisted that I was incorrect which was quite frankly rude and insulting. Conveniently the manager was unavailable to talk to and the person who answered the phone refused to give me his name. Poor pizza and completely unacceptable service. I would not recommend this branch at all

Lied to multiple times by The duty manager. Very rude and reluctant to admit fault ordered pizza at 7pm it's now 9 and still waiting. Would not recommend to my worse enemy.

Disappointed Ordered "the works" pizza & got home only to find it didn't have any pepperoni olives or mushrooms, thought they were all about quality..

Took an hour to come even though I live 10/12 minutes away, and the food was warm. Had to ring them twice, they didn't have the driver's number on their file??? Never using this Papa John's again.
