"I had a terrible experience. I ordered cheese bites and boneless chicken. I called ahead to explain to a woman that the chicken wasn't cooked properly; the chicken breast was black, slimy, and rubbery. She said the manager wasn't there and hung up on me. Then, the manager called me and was very unprofessional. He insisted that the chicken was supposed to look that way. I replied that I'm not stupid and know what chicken is supposed to look like. He said he knew his job and called me a liar. I told him that as a customer, I had no reason to lie. He then said he would send something new but that I had to pay a £3 delivery fee. I was shocked. I told him I was calling to tell him the chicken I ordered was undercooked, rubbery, and black, and he was telling me to pay for delivery, even though it was their fault the food was bad. He then said okay, I wouldn’t have to pay, but it would take 3-4 hours for the new food to arrive. I agreed. When the new order came, it was the same thing, so I threw it away. They didn’t want to give me my money back, and the manager was awful and shouldn't be a manager. He was trying to scam me and said horrible things. I will never order from there again. I hope they close the shop. The service is horrible, and they are scammers who are very greedy for money. They didn’t even want to refund my money. Please don’t order from them; their service is horrible, and they are scammers." And the owner it a scammer likes he manger

ordered at 6pm and didn’t get order till nearly 740pm it said it would be ready in 39 mins then when it was been delivered the time kept changing and going up and down for 40mins very disappointed with service and won’t be using again especially as only live less than 1 mile away

Boxes were bent cos of delivery drivers small bag.. but tbh pizza was tasty and not really damaged too much just some cheese stuck on the roof of the box..

This was my first time ordering a papa johns. Im usually a dominos man however due to dominos being too far i settled for papa johns. The price was pretty reasonable, had no issues with. I did a collection order. When i picked up the pizza i was asked for a review, usually i am skeptical when asked to do a review. I took it home, i was pleasantly surprised. Pizza looked great, the chicken bites and thighs looked good too. I must admit i was partially gutted that the chicken bites were breaded. However when i took a bite, it was apparent i misjudged how good breaded chicken can be. The chicken thighs were a little smaller than i would've liked, but i see that as no real fault of this individual restaurant but more as a supplier ordeal. Again the Thighs were full of flavour, i couldn't complain about them. Both chicken products were hot and tasty. The pizza i ordered was a thin, all meat pizza. I did not anticipate, the pepperoni, to get partially crispy, a rather nice surprise. When i compare it to dominos, it holds up and even takes the edge i would say, considering how i feel dominos pizza is so inconsistent. Overall the pizza as pretty good, i couldnt complain. I even tested it cold, it held up. I tested how well it could be reheated and again it help up. I am looking forward to ordering here again.

Great pizza, got more than expected and they both tasted great

Been in a few times now, have had great customer service every time I've been in and their food is top notch. My particular favourite being their garlic pizza sticks, something I can't get enough of. Definitely somewhere I'll be passing by when I want some good pizzas on my way home from work 😊

waited over hour from estimated delivery time. i called the restaurant direct and in the end they delivered with their delivery driver. will not be ordering through you again.

Ordered at like 2 pm the other Sunday so way out of rush hour. Pizza was ready and had a real nice chat with the guy on the front. Always my go to for pizza

I have been there with my friend and ordered vegetables pizza and attended by karan and pizza was made by him according to our choice. Enjoyed every slice and will back there surely.

Left note to NOT use main door, coz my landlord lives there and he is sleeping. To use side door. And just knock. Delivery man comes to main door! After that to side door and he ring the bell! Woke him up! Food was also cold! Stressful! Horrible!

The guy tried scamming me out of the pizza told me it was 7.99 for a small pizza which I know isn’t true because I get them all the time and then when he realised I wasn’t a idiot and I know the price that’s when he told me it’s 4.99

when i went to go get bbq wings he ended up making me a chicken bbq pizza and made me pay for it even though i had no idea that he mistook it for a bbq pizza, i didn’t even get the rest of my money back i am completely outraged by it because he didn’t even bother trying to apologise for it it was extremely disappointing and annoying

Very quick and lovely service. Ordered 7 XXL pizzas and they had them all made fresh and hot for me. The lovely worker even helped me carry them all to the car. Went above and beyond!!!

Riz had some great customer service skills, he explained our options thoroughly and helped us find the best deal for our needs in our short lunch break! We collected and our food was nice hot and ready for the agreed time.

Dealing with the lads at Manchester Road at Huddersfield, always great service, very friendly, they even bring my pizza to my car. You can't get better service than this...Loved the Philly Cheesteak. Was sad to see this no longer available. I will email Papa John and ask him what the score is 😃
