I placed an order last night with Papa John’s and specifically requested 2 special garlic sauces, which are my favorite part of the meal. Unfortunately, I received 2 garlic and herb sauces instead. This mix-up significantly impacted my enjoyment of the pizza, as the special garlic sauce is a key reason I order from Papa John’s. I’m quite disappointed with this error and hope that future orders can be more accurate with other customers as I will not order again from them!.

Got the food after an hour and it was warm but not hot. Part of our order was missing and the app and website are a nightmare to tackle. The food was very expensive compared to other chains.

I felt sorry for the staff that time. She was alone, doing all the jobs of taking orders and making pizzas. She apologized and was honest regarding the waiting time.

I ordered a jackfruit vegan pepperoni pizza, the store sent me the complete opposite. They had used real cheese & meat, which is terrible service as, aside from my wasted money since I wasn’t able to eat it, this is hazardous and would be considered a violation towards dairy allergy sufferers (or anyone who reacts negatively to meat) who can become very physically ill from the intake of it. Unfortunately, this has put me off entirely from ordering here again.

2nd time we've ordered from here and it's been marked delivered and not actually arrived yet. It arrived 10 mins after this and to add insult to injury, yet again, it's stone cold.

Soo.... I bought 3 large pizzas from here tonight for the first time... completely messed the order up... 2 were supposed to be thin crust. They were exactly the same crust as the regular crust pizza. I ordered peperoni,pineapple and bacon on my pizza. I got no peperoni no pineapple , instead i had mushrooms and bacon sure I paid extra to make my own pizza too witch ended up being a minging pizza with mushrooms. Won't be coming back you robbing sods!

My experience with Papa John’s in Urmston will be my last. My family ordered £30 worth of food, which took an hour to arrive and when it did it was lukewarm! The pizza boxes were not contained in any heated pizza delivery bags just in the back seat of a delivery car. I called up the branch to voice my unhappiness, which they could only apologise. Even if offered, I probably would not want another pizza as it would likely take another long time to arrive. I am writing this review as a warning because this has happened to me twice! The first time I viewed this as delivery driver was extremely busy but occurring twice? This should not happen if part of your operation is to deliver hot pizza.

Order never came was due at 5.55-6.15 rang the shop at 6.20 to be told its on its way then time changed to 6.55 still no food rang the shop again to be told they hadn't even started the order absolutely disgraceful service and will never go here again and would not recommend it to anyone

Terrible wait, had to wait over AN HOUR!!! For pizzas to arrive after being told it was on it's way. Seriously doesn't take over an hour to get from there to my place!!!!

Staff very rude were swearing not at customers but with each other and talking dirty which is not professional

Order arrived 1hr late, called after 10 mins late and they assured me it would be 5 minutes as the driver had left the shop 5 minutes earlier. Waited until 15 more minutes had passed before calling again to find the shop was closed with no contact. Absolutely disgraceful service. My colleague missed his lunch break because I was waiting and now I’ve spent mine awaiting my food delivery which I will now have to reheat and not enjoy in a couple of hours!!! One very, very disappointed customer!

Ordered one pizza and it was just over 2 hours late! Had to ring the store several times, first the just eat drivers were blamed, then that he had to make it again as it was cold but assured us his own driver would be leaving with it in 5 mins. 25 mins later still no pizza, rang again and told it was on its way. Pizza finally arrived, luke warm. Rang store and asked for a refund and was told we had the pizza so no refund. Told them they could collect the pizza! But still no refund or apology for the inconvenience (we all had Indian but my daughter doesn't like it so we had all eaten while she was sat waiting for her pizza!). Eventually offered a replacement pizza for the next day at 6pm, had to ring the store at 6.10 and pizza arrived at approx 6.35! Honestly the worst customer service I've had in a long time! Very poor for such a big company!

This place use to be the best pizza in Urmston but it has new owners and has gone down hill. Light on toppings and pizza undercooked and sides not hot. I'll be going back to. Domino's in future.

I booked my delivery for 3:45 bearing in mind the first delivery slot is 3:45 it turned up an hour late and just warm not too far off cold won't order again

If I could give 0 stars I would. Waiting over an hour and a half for food now. Every time I ring the store they make up an excuse and say its coming. This is ridiculous. Worst staff and store going. How this place is still open I don't know. I see so many people having issues with orders being so so late. Staff are incompetent

Terrible pizza. Ordered 4 pizzas for the family as a treat. Arrived luke warm . Each one had a tiny amount of cheese on it that the pizza oven had burnt to a dark brown crisp. I'm sorry but when you are paying 23 quid each for a pizza the most basic thing you expect is that the cheese be gooey and pulls apart. Also there were slices of our Hawaiin that didn't even have pineapple on it. Absolute joke. Wish we'd have ordered Pizza Hut instead.

Absolute scam, I made an other through the website and paid 29£. They said they don't have the payment or the order. I called my bank and they said it did go through but it's also a reoccurring order!!! Meaning they looking to keep charging me in the future. Now I have to wait until the 1st of May to see if they charge me or they give me the money back. Scammers don't you dare to charge me again and send the money back to my account. Fuming!!!

The garlic sauce is so oily like in deep of Petrol Station, I felt like I literally drunk oil from your car. Dough is so chewy. Papa John's made me realise that we are in recession.

My experience is pretty much reflection to the previous reviewer Made first phone call however after waiting over an hour and some one answered who was very unhelpful and wasn't even able to provide me with an update on the order. The second phone call was quite some time after to cancel order again if it was just to review person and helpfulness would be Luke the beacon in a world of chaos. Eventually canceled my order and got a refund yes I know it's a new franchise with teething issues and other issues that may have contributed to the issues. Over the years I've eaten papa john's north and south of the UK after living in various places near a franchise and was very excited and looking forward to being able to get a Papa John's delivered after nearly 3 years of not having one I'll be honest the way my first call was delt with has tarnished my faith and possibly not to to try this franchise again because not being able to keep on top of orders or provide an estimate of managing them is rather shocking and unprofessional.

Love papa john's but urmston have one now bit closer but do not deliver in irlam please get a papa john's in irlam then i can enjoy my night with out having to drive and not drink

I've had pizza from lots of places large and small. Papa John's I can confirm is the best by a country mile! The tomato sauce is a little sweeter tan most, coupled with perfectly tanned cheese and sausage pieces like little footballs. Served with a beautiful crisp bottom of base and complimented with a garlic sauce, evey piece of this pizza was devoured with gusto. Would I order again? Hell yes! Would I recommend them? Absolutely! Keep it up Papa John's and Pizza Hut will be quaking in their boots!

Pappa John's has arrived in Urmston after such a long wait. So happy to have been able to order through Lucie, who was very accomodating. My wife is celebrating her 50th today and instead of going for a plush sit down meal opted for pizza. Brilliant service and really appreciate the birthday acknowledgement. 👍
