Possibly best pizzas in Warrington. However, ordering pick up, was deterred by constant whinging and moaning of staff to each other, and concerns of hygiene practices witnessed.

Burnt, not cut properly, not cut equally some pieces are big some are small. Very disappointing I used to work in papa johns and this is not how your supposed to serve food

Shame I can’t give it less, really rude manager just cancelled my order because they couldn’t be bothered delivering it. Very aggressive on the phone and although I’d put my mobile number which I can see on my email, kept claiming she’d rang an 01925. Quite clear that they’d never cooked the order (it claimed it was in a box) and just cancel the orders they can’t be bothered delivering. I’d avoid. It’s clear others are having the same problem. No email confirmation of non delivery, so I doubt I’ll even get my money back.

Ordered online...was seamless. Food was delivered very quickly and by a very pleasant and nice delivery guy. Pizza was hot and delicious

As someone who works within the fast food industry the practices I saw instore were quite off putting. To name a few, what I assume was a driver in his outdoor clothing in food handling areas such as the oven cut table. A staff member who would be constantly touching her face and then handling food without washing her hands. The oven tender was not wearing an apron. The pizza boxes which are flatpacked were open and not covered leading to exposure to the elements. At the end of the day this is someone's plate. The till area was covered in what I assume was remnants of previous customers food. The pizza was fine however the store just seemed quite chaotic and unorganised. The staff on till were quite pressuring to order and quick to chat about roller skating instead of preparing orders

The food is good but since they have got rid of their own delivery drivers I haven't had hot or even warm food from there.

The pizzas aren't that great unfortunately from hear The crust just isn't very crispy and they don't put enough tomato sauce on the pizza as standard!

I got food poisoning from one of your pizzas, I did email and make a complaint but the form was that long winded I gave up. You wanted to know what food I have eaten in the last 4 days for breakfast, lunch and tea which I don’t remember!! I have been really unwell over the last 48 hours with gastroenteritis since eating the pizza

Pizzas are nice and tasty but last time i ordered we had an item missing, tried phoning several times but no answer so gave up

No dine in options available here. Currently they are running the option of buy one and get one, I got two pizzas last night and it was very good. I picked them up by myself hence it was still hot. The service was good and the taste was not so bad as mentioned in the previous reviews, I can say it was four star out of five. I recommend to pick up the orders in person rather ordering it online if you love papa John’s pizzas. I had vegetarian Hawaiian pizza and garden basket, both of them taste very nice!!

Love the pizza from here, always delicious. The staff are very nice and it always smells of lovely pizza as you walk in. Found them to be excellent picked up or delivered. My favourite take out pizza!

perfect as always, only gripe is I didn't receive the BBQ dip we requested. We got Tomato and herb instead which we definitely do not like. But pizza, chicken and garlic sticks perfect.

Accidentally put the worng base option on my pizza phoned store to amend and rhey refused to. Poor customer service.

Loved papa johns for a long time but after last night will never go back again. Ordered on line for delivery phoned to ask could I have my order made a bit more well done to be told no we are to busy to do that! Asked could it come hotter this time as it was not very hot the last time to be told we don’t have our own drivers so basically you get it when a driver picks it up. It was cold and not cooked as I liked it. Rude man on phone. Scouser.

Cold missing order! Use to love papas but no longer a fan what a waste

the only complaint is that the food was barely warm sadly. the food wasn't in a thermal bag like it normally is, the guy just took the food directly from the car and brought it to us therefore making it colder than normal. However the food was nice and we tried the piri piri chicken bites this time too and they were lovely, just cold!

Another poor show tonight. Ordered at 18:09, writing this 90 minutes later still no delivery. Rang several times, no answer! My pizza has been getting sliced since 18:48 so who knows what is going on. I'll assume it's not coming and raise the issue via PayPal. Evening ruined thanks a lot.

Dripping in grease. Potato tots needed cooking further bacon cheese sticks needed bacon and cheese on half of it .

I ordered an American hot someone forgot the jalapeños so it wasn’t as nice as usual quite disappointed

Waited over an hour for delivery. When it arrived food was stone cold and when I called the store the staff were unhelpful and unapologetic. Do not recommend. Should have used Domino's

The Ben and jerrys didn’t come so when I rung up they said they will get the driver to come drop it off an hour passes I ring up and they say they can’t deliver because it’s busy I asked for my money back and they say they can’t do that and the food was barley cooked the pizza was doughy it just wasn’t nice so I won’t be ordering from here again

Usually order online from here but decided to go into store as I was passing anyway, to order for a party and was told I had to scan a qr code and order through that and they didn’t except cash which was all I had, will start using else where I’m not buying in to this cashless society

Ordered online 20/30mins later order ready to collect. Tasty, and reasonably priced. Staff all pleasant

Pizza took close to 2 hours to arrive when it did it was cold. staff didn't apologise they just said they are busy and I can Iver get a free pizza next time or they will send a fresh one out. I chose free one next time to be told today I'm a lier because there is nothing on there system. Look at the Google reviews this happens a lot. Avoid this place awful customer service.

What an absolute shame been ordering here for a while tonight I phoned now they no longer take cash or payment in-store on the card machine which is the only way I want to pay it's online only now by not taking cash your cutting off a massive part of your business and the card machine being broke for 2 weeks plus come on 😞 always had good food shame that your doing online only but time to find new pizza place 😕

Cold pizza takes nearly 2 hoursso complained. Offered a walm pizza next time now to be told I can't have a pizza because they can't remember. Coning scumbags avoid the place.

I’ve ordered from Papa Johns a lot with no issues…but tonight? I had to call as the tracker said my order had been ‘delivered’ 20 mins earlier. It hadn’t. Was told it had been dispatched and would be there in 10 mins. Which it was. Barely warm pizza and barely warm chicken wings. Thanks guys

There isn't another pizza place in Warrington that comes close. Freshly made pizza with generous toppings, always served hot. With great service and a friendly smile. You've not tasted pizza until you've tasted Papa John's pizza

Ordered a pepperoni perfection for £14.98 (online offer). Got back and opened to discover only 12 slices of pepperoni on it. On a large it looks ridiculous and does not deserve it's name sake. Went back to exchange (they took the old one, should have insisted I keep it for compensation but whatever) and got a better one. Cashier told me that next time I should know that a PP is only a single pepperoni. I called him out by saying that when you customise a PP it's default is double pepperoni. He had no reply to that.

I was not impressed with the pizza I bought, young man behind counter attitude did not make it any better, so I have changed my review now to disappointed! We ordered 'the works' and tried something new that came with deal... Tough as a rock and barely the basic on and I ordered extras. I guess they just could not care. Hmmm... Has lost me as a customer. If you can't treat your customers with respect and kindness you are in the wrong business, but if your product is sub standard and lost its freshness and taste, definitely get out of the business. Service and product two essential for success.

Come to papa John's as when ever we go away we always have a papa John's we were really disappointed with the pizza I ordered a xxl stuffed crust bbq chicken. And think I got max 4 small pieces of chicken on it and about the same with the bacon loads of bbq sauce and hardly.any cheese it was that bad we didn't finish it and has now put us off papa John's

Right i order a piza on the app before they even open they accept said order for the delivery time after opening hours 30 minutes later they cancelled my order because apparently they have a bigger order they need to fill and mine has no priority, now said big order was before mine so why did they accept it...it wouldn't be a problem with this but they waited 30 minutes for the cancellation message and i lost my lunch brake.. Brilliant Papa Johns!

Ordered 2 medium stuffed crust pizzas, garlic pizza sticks and potato tots last week. I asked for the garlic dips with the pizzas to be changed to bbq dip. I double checked before paying. The pizzas arrived....one with the garlic dip and the other with no dip at all ! The garlic pizza sticks were burnt and hard and ended up in the bin. Out of 4 items, only 1 was correct. I decided to give them another chance and order again. I checked the website which said that they were closing at 8pm today ( New Years Eve ), so rang at 6pm only to be told that they were taking no more orders and closing at 6.30pm ! Appalling customer service ( if you can call it that ). It will be a long time, if ever, before I order again.

I worked for WS Venture Limited who own this as a driver for extra work had crash which was no fault they lied 3 times about submitting insurance claim Now ignoring my emails and calls car still damaged wouldn't normally do this but do hope you respond now

Always hot and fresh and when it is delivered its always pretty quick. The place has a good variety of pizzas and side orders.

Bang on pizzas, my kids are addicted to the bbq meat feast and special Garlic sauce. The delivery staff are friendly and courteous and its always on time

We've ordered pizzas online for regularly, for home delivery, and have been happy enough with the pizzas. They're not always hot enough, and there is no tracking of the delivery with their app. But it's been 'ok'. Good enough for us to order regularly. However, on the last occasion in August, they made some mistakes. - They missed off a topping on one pizza. - They added two extra toppings to the two other pizzas, which some of us do not like. When I phoned up at the time, they offered to remake them. But it was too late, because one person has diabetes, and had took his insulin when it the pizzas arrived, before discovering the problems. So he had to eat something without delay, and ended up removing the unwanted toppings, which was not much fun. To make amends, they said they'd put a note on their system, for us to have a free replacement order in the future. All I had to do was phone using the same mobile number I was using that day. Today, I phoned for the free replacement order they'd promised. But there was no note on their system. They did not keep their promise. They did offer a free large pizza. But that's no use to us - we all have different needs (e.g. one gluten free). I suspect that the person who was in charge in August when it went wrong, decided to try to cover up the problems, by not keeping any records of it. The result is a very poor customer experience. After ordering numerous times in the last 6 months, we won't be bothering again. (If they'd given me a voucher or something I could actually use, it would have solved the problem.)

The food is always good as you'd expect from Papa John's, but the service wasn't great to be honest. The Web site said that the food was ready for collection but when I arrived it wasn't. I was told 8-9 minutes so I waited in the car, but it wasn't ready for 15. Not a major delay but I'm just being honest. I was also asked for my name 4 times and was addressed with the wrong name all in 90 seconds from the same girl, which I thought was shocking customer service.

Order food.....took money out of bank then rang the shop after 30 minutes only for Tamara to deny any knowledge of am order! Rang back and asked for manager and tamara said that was her......clearly not as she consistently interpreted and talked over me and her only advise was to contact customer services, and she didn't know how too and just kept saying "go to website", Customer services is only open 9-5, mon-fri, so now have to wait for email back off them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOUR HUNGRY!!! NO FOOD AND TOOK MONEY!!!

Yeah, just got rudely hung up on by somebody named Adam. Super unprofessional. Been waiting over an hour for my pizza to arrive. Called to find out what the problem was and was told they’re short staffed. I asked for promo or coupon as compensation and click. I was hung up on. A simple “we don’t do that” would have sufficed. Instead, rude unprofessional treatment for their inefficiency.

Of the big 3 franchise pizzas places Papa John's is easily my favourite. Tried the Warrington outlet for the first time this evening and the experience was broadly positive. Ordered online and the process is very straight forward. The tracking service is a nice touch if a little gimmicky. The food arrived within an hour of ordering but needed a couple of minutes in the oven as it wasn't hot enough. Both Pizza's were nice and tasty. I felt like mine could have taken some more toppings and sauce. The menu really does cart for everyone and has an extensive vegan offering.

Have had good food from here many many times. Prices are good pizzas better than the big names, deals are spot on. Even mistakenly placed an order for collection in error close to closing time and started to wonder where my food was. The staff kindly delivered my order after leaving work. Now that's service and it was my mistake

Terrible pizza worst ever will not be wasting my money on Papa Jon's again. Just wish I could add photos, minimal toppings even though requested extra pizza burnt, thin base was inedible.

We order from here often. Never have any problems. The pizzas are amazing! Best pizzas in town. They are expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for. Worth the money.
