Friars Court in Warrington

Ran out of many beers , not great for a Saturday night , been coming in here since 1988, toilets exactly the same

Prices have shot up and all mixers are from bottles.

Absolutely disgusting bouncers here, false accusations made towards me and my husband for trying to enter here and then threatened by them to top it off, gross place, honestly wouldn't ever bother, literally everywhere else in town is much better and more welcoming than this overpriced dump

Still a great alternative place to go with friends. Great music 🎶

Awful experience with this bar. Staff are aggressive and witnessed a bouncer push a 60 year old man into the road for no reason. Disgusting.

Disgusting behaviour from bar and security staff. Insulting and removing people for no reason. A man in a separate group backed up the assault who had witnessed everything and he was pushed to the ground and he cut his arm open. Got rid of quid drinks, got rid of DJ Keith and no one dances anymore cos it's well bright in there. Sort it out go back to what made you good x

Nice atmosphere, staff were nice, had a great time 👍 should put a lock on the toilet cubicle door though to avoid any unwelcome door openings when doing your business

If you want to be threatened by door staff this is the place for you. Terrible service from the moment we walked in. Tried to kick us off the table several times. Then the bouncer threatened to cave my head in after I'd been to the toilet. Absolute disgrace of a place. Jumped up security guards dressed like their interviewing for sas who dares wins. Absolute losers.

Fab night.... only popped in for 1 (and a wee) but ended up staying the rest of the night. Gorgeous evening outside with live music. Was out for my friends birthday and as it turned midnight we sang happy birthday to her and everyone joined it. It was amazing.

Got escorted off the premises by five members of security for asking for a receipt (apparently you don't get a receipt with contactless payment). For contactless payments for £30 and under, a receipt will not automatically be printed for you. However, you can always ask for a receipt, and the retailer must give you one if you ask. For contactless payments over £30, the retailer must always print a receipt for you.

Dated. Music hasn't changed in about 10 years. New bar staff every week. A smokers haven.

OK for cheap drinks but the staff is rude and the place is not very clean. Inside smells like puke and at the toilets is worst. People puking and doing drugs.

Late night hole, stick to bottle drinks

The drinks were few, the people many. It was everything I expected and less. The floor was sticky and the music was awful. Full of smokers. I'm never going back unless I need somewhere to throw up.

Not changed in many many years, exact same music playlist and decor. Could definitely do with a makeover but always a fun night.

Used to be a great place to go but now theyve got this awful chavvy dj outside and the place is just full of coke! Last time i went in got offered it twice in half an hour and saw people snorting openly on the tables! Absolute joke! Ill be suprised if this place makes it past christmas without a police raid!!

Well a group of colleagues were out and about in Warrington last week. As we wanted a late night bar with music, someone suggested The Friars Court as they had a late license. Was greeted on the door by the usual miserable door people. On entering, the music was so loud, you had to scream to be served. The floor obviously had not be mopped in ages as it was so sticky, that if you stood still too long, you had to prize your shoe off the floor to move. Worst was to come using the gents. Filth does not describe these facilities. No hand wash nor were there any hand driers. Had to use toilet paper to dry. Only consolation was their use of plastic pint glasses, otherwise I'd not have had a beer. One pint and we left. Avoid like the plague, otherwise, you might get the plague.

Saturday night, great music (rock/indy), busy, noisy, great fun. Cheap drinks before 1am, crowded bar (not surprised with those prices). Just short of a bit of a clean throughout the night, particularly the sticky tables and loos.

This place is so disgusting. The music is great. The staff are rude, the girls toilets are constantly flooded and filthy. I used to go here so much when I was a student, mainly for the music. But now there's so many more bars that are better to choose from. This place is a last resort - open til late

Always keep an eye out for events on at friars court. I went to see Clint Boon DJ their last Sunday 1st May. Great night and to top it off drinks were £1 until 1am so couldn't complain. Plays Indie/ Rock music great for a night out and set within a court yard good for a drink inside and out (weather permitting).

If I could give no stars I would! Absolutely disgusting treatment by staff....first time in this end of town in about ten years and absolutely my last visit....will be complaining to WBC licensing authorities and I suggest you send your staff on an attitude adjustment course if they are the face of your establishment. Not to mention telling everyone in shouting distance to avoid this place like the plague unless you want verbally and physically abusing!
