To start, the uniform on an individual had pizza dough over it upon collection. The interior of the shop doesn't appear updated or as clean as you would expect it to be. Customer service isn't up to scratch, prioritising calls instead of dealing with customers first in the shop. The pizza wasn't cooked as well as it should have been. Overall I cannot recommend it here.

Foods okay but service is a big fat 0. Tried to make me feel guilty and responsible for their failure at quality check. I ordered a BBQ pizza, but they had not added the BBQ sauce on the pizza!! I will repeat, NO BBQ sauce. I called thinking oh well mistakes happen, but had to argue with them to swap out the pizza with another. They only wanted to send BBQ sauce (but I know it should go on prior to the oven) and then they started making stuff up about delivery times and me making late calls to them, so confusing. I couldn't believe my ears. They swapped out the pizza in the end after I had to get incredibly firm with them, but the driver said at the door we shouldn't have eaten the 1 slice. Well someone had taken a bite before realising no BBQ sauce. Then the driver started questioning costs and saying that someone at PJs will have to pay for the pizza. What has that got to do with me? What are these guys on? All I wanted was a BBQ pizza!!!!

Got 2 stale pizzas 2 hours late. Emailed head office but had no response in months. I know PJ pride themselves in fresh produce and dough as I used to sell pizza products and delivered to the first store in London. I've had great PJ pizza in the past from other stores but No excuse for what I received from Biggleswade store and no apology, compensation or explanation. Bad pizza.

Appalling food and customer service mainly by Maya who denied all responsibilities when reporting false advertising on their product and quality (overcooked/burnt two items out of four).

Ordered two pizzas and two sides. THe potato taters advert is false advertising as they add ham instead of bacon and there are only a couple of pieces as well as burnt cheese (see pics for proof). The jalapenos cheese side was well overcooked. Maya (supposed to be some kind of manager) kept denying any responsibilities and believed that it was all fine and so didn't want to make it right. Appaling service and food. Not surprised their reviews are so low.

Staff are rude pizzas are smaller I got a XXL and when I question the size they where so rude I won't be going back.

The pizza was fresh, hot and delicious. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.

Average Pizza. The rest of the family liked them but we thought a bit over priced for what we had. We tried applying a discount voucher but it didn't work. A bit disappointed but at least the food was edible.

Not impressed with quality of pizza, very chewy dough, bacon bits and chicken bits were not good with a aged flavour and cheese was tasteless and pointless adding it as you could not tell it in the flavour, bought 3 XXL pizzas and poor on all three compared to other well known outlets, first time using papa johns and will not use again, this was unanimous by whole family. wasted a lot as no one took up seconds. given 2 stares as it could be we ordered late afternoon and a bad day

I ordered a Mexican pizza. They saw fit to deliver a vegan cheese pizza. Naturally I have no wish wake up with a bedroom smelling like a cow barn so had to scrape that vegan crap off just leaving the base. That part was fine hence the rating of 1. No point ordering from then again though.

I’ve never been to the shop but I get delivery frequently. The guys who deliver are very kind and efficient.

Food was still hot on delivery. Quality is what I'd expect from a Pizza chain. Tasted fine and was very efficiently delivered in very good time. The kids prefer Papa John's to the other pizza chain takeaways so I'm happy with that.

I seldom write reviews but I have to write this one in particular to warning ⛔️ ⚠️ people to be careful the man stopped making his dough answered two calls from two different telephones on the front counter and went back straight with his hands onto the dough without washing or gel etc 😖😱😡🤢🤮 Disgusting, no hygiene, no consideration of coronavirus or any other kind of germs/ bacteria he’s distributing. Isn’t the message WASH HANDS people!!! Why would I pay for a food that will come contaminated with bacteria in the least...

Love this place! I’ve been ordering from this branch for the last 3 years and they have delivered quality pizzas to keep me and my family well satisfied especially on a Friday night! They even replace pizzas at no cost when they come slightly cold. So all in all very happy

But when I ordered it online, they subscribed me to some scam scheme under the pretense of giving cashback, which I actually never received but the third party company started charging my card 30 pounds every month. After a careful investigation with my bank, we were able to track it down to Papa John's delivery website. Since then I stopped ordering anything from them and they just keep bombarding me with spam texts. Gret way to lose your clients' trust, guys.

Rude employees my pizza said it has come on the app but I didn't receive so I called them and they said they didn't have a manager they they did have a manager and the employee wouldnt give me there name and then put the phone down on me. I will be going to dominos or pizza hut next!!!

Had ordered online vegan sheese hot pepper passion. It tasted just doughy wit vegan cheese and very little toppings. I called the Edgware Branch to complain and spoke to Manager had no ethics how to talk to a customer the response I got is if first time you tried this pizza if you do not like it not our problem. Well this says it all for a customer service will not bother ever ordering pizza from them. With such rude customer service and horrible pizza why waste my money to such business.

Today I received an appalling customer service from the Chef Manager at Hackney Wick - London. I have ordered a pizza with ham, mushroom and onion and I received a COLD pizza with ham, mushroom and corn (which I am allergic to). I have called the store to inform them my order was wrong and if I could receive the right order. The Chef Manager, did not apologise and asked me if I had eaten the pizza. I repeated that I did not touch the pizza cause I was allergic to corn and they told me not to eat it and that they would send me another one. While on the phone I have also made the manager aware that I was still waiting for a refund for a previous order (drink missing) that the driver promised to give and that I had to chase on the phone twice before. The Chef Manager informed me that "IT WAS NOT HIS PROBLEM" and that he can't refund something of days ago and that I should have called when I did not receive the refund (which I did twice and I trust them when I was told I would receive it). He repeated once again that it was not his problem and he can't do anything about. I waited over an hour for my replacement pizza which NEVER ARRIVED. So I am now out of money, out of a meal and with a pizza I am allergic to. Utterly disgusting.

Very pleasantly surprised Pizzas were delicious and generous with the toppings. Early evening delivery was very quick and still hot. Have avoided Papa John's for a while preferring Domino's but last night's Papa Pizzas were very good. Change of Management perhaps?

I asked for the pizza they were advertising in the window and was told "we don't do that any more" Also the buy one pizza get one free offer on a bill board displayed outside the shop was no longer available. The only reason it gets 2stars is because I have had their pizza before and liked them. Their marketing needs work.....

Just had a delivery from papa johns Ilford never have we ever tasted pizza so bad from papa johns! Its taste raw, dough was not cooked, wet, soggy and not cooked. The cheese taste odd and different and cheese had a gap from the dough, I called papa johns he was rude and unhelpful. He said if I've dished out 2 slices they can't do anything. Off course we've dishes out more than 2 there's 9 of us but no one finished there slice we had 3 pizzas!! The guy I spoke to on the phone his name is Kubie and he was so rude when I said I will be reviewing this online he said 'thats fine good'. We have had papa johns from other areas before and never has it ever tastes like this!! And the service I have no words!!

I went to a store that closes at 12 and i walked in at 1133 and they told me they’re closed. I’m now in this store south croydon branch at 1:51 on a Sunday and i asked for a medium pizza which is advertised at £7.99 but i got charged £9.99. I always go into this store and get the £7.99 pizza. When i asked for my mama back because i knew something was up the guy told me i can’t get my money back i can only get a coupon. The same guy that served me the night before, served me again today. Also the first night i went in they told me they would serve me in one minute and didn’t come back to me until almost 10 minutes later and then said they r closed. Their door was open they were still making pizza and came to me late i need answers because the pizza is advertised at £7.99 on your website.

i ordered from here and got the worst service iv'e ever gotten in my whole life(and i used to work in a fast food chain) the employee ignored my order and then asked for my order then ignored again .After all of this i finally ordered my pizza. I waited for more than an hour and it didn't come.I called papa johns asking if they had my order and when i explained it the employee said "how can i help", like he had been ignoring me the whole time.He then listened to me again then hung up on me.I called again he then ignored me when i was furiously complaining, he put the phone down and started speaking a foreign language in my face. In the end i went to dominoes which is on the same road as papa johns (i fully recommend) and they gave me amazing service compared to papa johns.

Such a disappointment. Ordered my food more than an hour ago from Kennington brunch and there was even no one picking up the phone!!!! Finally someone answer the phone, whoever I was talking to hanged up the phone on me. How rude!!! Turn the delivery system off if you can't manage to do deliveries on time. I only ordered one pizza, guess how long it took for me to receive it. 3 f***ing hours! for 1 god damn pizza! I had to reorder my single pizza 4 times and I was told to order it from numerous places as the employees i spoke to said the journey was too long and not in their range of delivery even though the website says they all are. furthermore, they tried to raise the price and refuse my discount. then, they had the audacity to say i should stop complaining and be happy that they found my address after 3 hours. not to mention the employees patronizing me and being rude to me when i was on the phone. 0/10 all i wanted was one pizza, but that is too hard for one of the biggest pizza companies in the world

so when I went to papa johns I bought a pizza, as you do, then papa himself came out from the counter and gave me his big pizza and I mean BIG it was soo big I couldn't handle it

Disappointed how they treat a regular customer for 5 years, item out of stock, agreed to refund the cost which didn’t happen. When you try to be nice and ask them to just add it back on your new order. The response was they have refunded, check you account again. Made it Sound like I am trying my luck to get free side worth £4! Very disappointing customer services.

Ordered for asap at 1930 its now 2042 no wonder the pizzas are a fiver cheaper considering you never get the pizza. Stick to dominos i dont even know how these people stay in business. Also rang the number 8 times and am yet to get through however their website has said the pizzas already delivered. To be honest im not even let down just upset with myself that i decided to order from them in the first place to save money.

The Store provides our Food orders for over 25 pizzas a week for our Football Centre - the customer service is first class, communication is always clear with our orders and most importantly, food is always on time and of 5 star quality - a well managed Pizza establishment - keep it up guys

Después de ir a la página web vimos que estaban abiertas hasta las 3 de la mañana. Llamamos a la 1 de la madrugada y les solicite que una pizza sólo de espera en el teléfono durante 10 minutos. Nos rendimos y llamamos de nuevo y nos dijeron (después de preguntar la persona 3 veces a repetir lo que decían) que han dejado de tomar pedidos para la entrega. Nunca se pide de nuevo debido a que pueden ser poco profesional. Trabajamos en un restaurante y afortunadamente no! ! ! ! No te molestes. Al dominó son mucho mejores y más profesionales en nuestra experiencia.

Mi buzón tiene un cartel de "No", pero los menús de esta carga de tossers aún insisten en poner una en que el derecho no se aplica a ellos. Yo no acepto que mal el inglés es un factor como menú una palabra internacional. También tienen un hábito de presionar el mal ya que lucha timbres para obtener el número de pantalla a la derecha. Probé una de sus pizzas un número de años y no fue genial. Yo prefiero comprar uno en £2. 50 del supermercado y tener a mano para cuando me apetece!

La peor pizza para llevar jamás! La entrega tardó 2 horas en llegar y las pizzas estaban frías. Traté de llamar varias veces, sin embargo, nadie descolgó el teléfono. Cuando alguien levantó el teléfono, me dejaron en espera y se olvidó de mí en la línea. No volvería a pedir papa johns nunca más, ya que el servicio de entrega es una porquería. absolutely rude manager .we got 6 cheesy jalapeños instead of 10 and refused to acknowledge his mistake .The topping was burnt refused to change it .we spend £27 every week no more dominoes from now on .The manager needs lessons in customer service. the owner needs to know that the manager is ruining his business for him.

Reliable and friendly. I live a 2 minute walk away and can easily get the best offer with either delivery or collection.

Pretty sure these guys aren't bothered about selling pizzas. Always a problem with online ordering, and they say they can't offer the same as promoted online. I asked what I'm meant to do when the website is the fault and they say nothing can be done. I'll order elsewhere then......

Food was cold. Delivery took an hour. Driver did not have change (a £5 note) therefore I had to wait another hour for him to go back to the restaurant and return with me change. Very bad service.

The pizza was slightly burned but besides that everything else was alright. However, I wouldn't risk to get pizza from Papa Jones agin. :)
