It's just as well that even average pizza is good pizza. Slow service, cold on arrival, pretty unhelpful staff when phoned asking for updates. Save yourself the effort. Go elsewhere.

Ordered for the first time. Good timing quicker than expected 👌. Pizza was nice sauce slightly sweet for me. Guy text me 3 times for my address which he had. What's that all about? Overall good job 👏

We ordered a bunch of pizzas delivery. They never arrived. We tried phoning but it was late at night / early morning. We woke up the next day to find they’d been left at our close door in the pouring rain. When we phoned the shop to get our money back, the guy tried to argue with me and refused to give us a refund - he said that it was an uber eats issue, despite fact we ordered directly from the papa johns website. The guy also tried to say our buzzer had been rang - it hadn’t. Anyone who lives in a tenement knows it’s actually impossible not to hear your buzzer go off they’re so loud. We could not have possibly missed hearing it. When I explained that this wasn’t our problem - as the merchant it’s their responsibility to ensure the product gets delivered safely to us, he eventually said “fine we’ll give you a refund, 3-5 days” and hung up. We never received a refund. Eventually we got our money back through challenging it through the bank. do NOT give them your money

Pizza arrived cold and looked like the guy had dropped the box. The slices were all over the place.

Pizza cold. Waited too long for delivery. What’s happened to the delivery drivers in last 6 weeks? Now Uber?

Order 2 pizzas and 2 sides. Dough was hard as a rock, bacon looks fake and like rubber and not much cheese on the pizza. The place bloody cheaped out on the toppings and didn’t even give me any dips for my pizza. Not worth the money and won’t be back.

The pizza was a let,the cheese was greasy and it didn't even seem fresh,to matters worse,the service was awfully bad.The staff didn't seem particularly interested in providing a good customer service.i wouldn't recommend this place unless you're desperate and everything else is closed. Always good service in the store, just wish High up ones at Papa John's changed the standard dip to the Special Garlic.

I phoned this store a few weeks ago placed an order then I ended up going to the wrong store but they somehow had a pizza under my name honest mistake on my part then today I go into this store I had phoned at least 25 mins ago and then the guy in the store says my number was saved in the system as a prank call I was told not too happy about this as it was my mistake but surely they should have called me before to ask me about this order

Ordered buy one get one free hey ho where was the free was told should of picked x 2 pizzas it does not state that asked for regional managers details refused won't send another pizza will be complaining to Papa John's head office stating that staff need to go on customer care course actually didn't care one bit so guys I juat paid £30 for one large pizza I think must be made of 24 carat gold stay well away unless you want head ache

Paid for a XLarge and received a Large, also they put the minimum ingredients to say they are on your pizza but you can barely see or taste them

We've ordered probably around ten times in total in the past 3 years. Pizzas always arrive on time, and have always been correct. There are good deals for regular customers too. We think this Shawlands branch is great. Our go-to.

Took an hour to get here which in 2024 is mental and the food itself was luke warm at best. Pretty poor service all round from a company of this size.

Quite often order from here and usually have no issues. Staff seem a little unbothered when you come in sometimes.

Almost word for word same complaint as another customer - takes over an hour to arrive when I live in Shawlands, food stone cold, driver and store staff sullen and rude, toppings missing from pizza. Happened three times, complained on the last and was refused a refund.

Been a loyal customer of Papa John's for a decade now. This is the worst one I've ever experienced in the whole country. The worst one around Glasgow, not very friendly or helpful.

Slowest papa johns I've ever ordered from! Took a whole hour for delivery 🤣

Ordered last month and food was stone cold and took an hour to arrive when I live 10 minutes from the store and they also got my order wrong. When I phoned them they said they where sorry that the only had one driver. I tried it again this month and again food took an hour to arrive and was 22 degrees with my food probe. When I called again to complain they said they only had one driver and offered me a 15 percent discount on my next order. I will not order from here again and would advise others to avoid this pizza place as clearly no one wants to work there if they can’t hire extra drivers in a month.

Had a small issue with a previous delivery, went through the appropriate channels to get this issue remedied and the resolution to my issue was above and beyond. I don't like to complain after a small mistake as I understand staffing issues happen and sometimes mistakes happen. I was contacted by management, given store credit and was more than pleased with this. Order again this evening, as it's a Friday, and was greeted upon collecting my order with a free bottle of Pepsi on top of my store credit. I'd never say you lost a customer because mistakes happen but you truly showed how incredibly committed to fantastic customer service you are. Absolutely thrilled and truly thankful to everyone in your store for how this was dealt with and I will definitely order again.

Ordered vegan food, got fed cheese. They claimed they have special cheese watching cameras and confirmed it's vegan cheese. But won't allow me to view this footage. Gaslit me, taking it a lab for testing and sueing them next. Ridiculous.

Restaurant was closed even though JustEat said it was an option so I never got my food and they likely never received my order. No idea what JustEat would advertise it if it was past its closing time

Despite ordering in advance when I got there, I was told my order was not ready despite it sitting in the rack waiting for me. They made me wait 15.mins then gave me cold pizza. Service is really bad here which is a shame.

Ordered cauliflower starter didn’t send hot buffalo sauce ordered margarita and chicken club pizza both cold all three of these awful. Cauliflower soggy and undercooked only thing that was passable was cheesy garlic bread will not use again Don’t think I’ve ever had such a bad takeaway

Never had any problems here. Pizza dough. The Sauce. Ingredients and choice of toppings are far more SUPERIOR than anywhere else. The only thing that bugs me is the price of everything

Asked for no olives. Restaurant said they never received my note asking for no olives. So this review is equally on just eat as it is on papa johns. Restaurant didnt offer anything for the pizza with wrong toppings

The difference between the photo of the pizza I ordered and the one that was delivered was a joke. An American Hot pizza with virtually no pepperoni and 2 tiny bits of onion that I had ordered as an extra topping. Have put a note on Twitter and am awaiting a reply but doubt I’ll get one. Not impressed.

Food ordered and after 40 minutes AFTER the estimated delivery time restaurant marked it delivered and now Just Eat are saying it's 7 days to process a refund request. That's a week out of pocket without the cash. Tried phoning the restaurant 5 times and was cut off every time.

Ordered online, took 45 minutes to arrive and it was wrong. I called the branch to let them know that they had made a mistake. The branch said that they would send a replacement out. Another 45 minutes passed with no sign of the replacement pizza. I called to enquire and was told it still had not left the shop. The person i spoke to was very uninterested and explained that ‘the shop was busy’. I felt that our replacement pizza should have been prioritised, but I was again told they were busy. The store had access to my phone number, but chose not to call me to advise of the delay. There was no apology for the inconvenience or offer of compensation. I won’t be ordering from this branch again. Every time I have ordered in the past, I have had to call and enquire about delivery times/mistakes. Would not recommend!

Don’t bother ordering from here, they don’t read the notes and there was missing items from my order. Tastes like they’ve used butter instead of garlic for the garlic cheese sticks, gross. Can’t eat sausage yet there was sausage when asked specifically not to have sausage on it so that’s great… Try a different papa johns, these guys just don’t listen. Driver was nice though.

I have never used justeat app or papa John’s very disappointed I called restaurant twice to check where order was and when they did come it was someone else’s order! They eventually delivered over 2hours after placing the order and food was cold! For what I spent it is the most disappointing service I have had with just a ‘sorry we are busy’ no compensation offered.

Ordered my food at 7.45. Arrived at 9.20. Phoned restaurant several times. Constantly fobbed off that it's only 10 minutes away. Never be ordering from here again. Would heavily advise anybody ordering from this place

When I phoned after it was due, I was told it was just being put in the oven. so took over 90 mins to be cooked and delivered. I would have been better walking the 15mins to the shop and getting it myself. Was disappointing as I haven't used them in a while.

Shawlands papa John’s have never been very reliable but I thought ordering almost an hour before they shut I’d be ok, but no. They waited 30 mins after confirming my order before saying they were “too busy”… I won’t be ordering from them again.

I have ordered from here a few times and each time they have got my order incorrect. I hate making a fuss but after this happening a few times I called. I spoke to a member of staff who said they would take my name. They said for my future order they would give me free what they didn’t send out in the previous order. Just phoned and the manager spoke to me horribly. Informed me this person wasn’t a manager and this isn’t in their policy. They were very rude and spoke to be horribly. Perhaps they should better inform their members of staff of their policies. I won’t be ordering from here again. There is no need to speak down to people and you such be more considerate of others and their mental health.

Terrible service. I ordered the food at 6.30pm It arrived at 8pm It was cold. Cold hard cheese with cold hard grease on the pepperoni. Not very appealing. It cost us more than £50 for three small pizzas that were late (the kids had to be given something else before bed) and cold.. not the treat we had expected.

Guys, I love you, you have great veggie options and the garlic sauce is second to none. Our deliveries always come quickly, the pizza is hot and tasty. But can I ask, what in the name of Mario is going on with the cheesy marmite scrolls? The first few times we had them they were nice fat things, all plump and crispy on the outside, soft and gooey inside. Now when we order them we're hard pressed to even find them in the box, they're so wee! Still super tasty but why so tiny?? Did you use a shrink ray on them? Please replumpify the scrolls!!

The employers and managers don’t treat customers with respect. They are very horrible, rude and have lied to me too! I will never purchase from them again. I don’t feel like an appreciated customer and will definitely not go back. Neither should you!

Order didn’t arrive, people in papa johns very unhelpful, told us on the phone the order wasn’t placed to contact papa johns although the order was confirmed by the restaurant, when another family member phoned back they told us that it wasn’t sent out due to the fact they had no irn bru for our order, very unprofessional and I am very unhappy WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM PAPA JOHNS AGAIN
