This was the best fish and chips takeaway we have had for years .it was so freah so hot and not greasy we will be back

Staff are all amazing and friendly. My sister changed her order tonight and the girls called us to make sure it was written correctly before sending out to us. We haven't ordered in a while and no name attached to order so this highlights how attentive and on the ball they are when dealing with the public. Food is always fab and delivery is quick. Thank you, great chippy and even better staff x

Food is always fantastic, but the service is slow.

Phoned for a delivery wasn't told it would be a hour plus when I phoned. I understand they were busy. 2hours later the food appeared don't get me wrong the food is lovely I have been phoning this establishment for years but felt let down 2hrs is a bit ridiculous.

The chips were good, curry sauce was good, staff were polite and cheerful.

Food is excellent get something from here every Saturday

Customer service and the hygiene is not very good and for as I have been eating out of this shop for years when the owners are not in his / her you do not get what you pay for will never step foot in this take away again in me life the place is a joke.

Fish was like rubber and cold also chips cold.

Been using Gills chip shop for a few months now it has been great everytime. I went last night orded the same thing, scampi and chips but it wasn't the same it was like scampi bites and the smoked sausage wasn't the same either! I left a great review a few weeks ago but was terrible this time No salt and vinegar on anything! waste of money.

Asked for mayonnaise they sent none food far to spicy went in bin disgusting everything was to dry and overcooked and way too spicy won't use them again

Terrible place. Food is lovely but delivery time is absolutely shocking, also charge you full price for a half and half pizza when one side is just cheese. Absolute rip off, people get the jail for less. Well over charged

Waitied and hour and a half nearly for our food to be told they didnt have a delivery driver yet. Then why take food orders if there was no delivery driver why not wait till you know a driver will be there? Poor customer service if you ask me. Just hope my foods not cold

Best spicy chicken pizza ever. Spicy mince isnt spicy. Best chippy I have come across. Always use this chippy.

Good food with very reasonable prices

Ordered at 8:20pm and was expecting it to come quite quickly and I got an email to say it would be 50 minutes. I felt that was quite a long time but I accepted that and then had to phone twice to see where my order was as it was 2 hours before it came. The delivery man also hung around waiting for a tip which I was not going to give after paying online and waiting all that time!!! Terrible.

Alright food, plain cheese pizza tasted a little bland however but other items on the menu were great

DO NOT ...DO NOT .....order food from here first of all they lost my order then it took 1 1/2 hours to be delivered n to top it off they refused my money as i was paying with an Ulster bank £10 note I was told its out of date money ...will never order from here again...

All large pizzas = £8 Half & Half = £11 (!?!?!) How can they justify charging almost 40% extra for having 2 halves with different toppings!??? For example: 1 large hawaiian = £8 1 large volcano = £8 Total = £16 But .. 2 large pizzas half & half with hawaiian & volcano .. Total = £22 EXACTLY the same amount of topping, EXACTLY the same amount of dough, yet they think its ok to charge an extra £6!!!! Absolute rip off!!!! I will NOT BE BACK!!!

I went hereto get dinner for me on my family as I had seen it on the way to the other shops and it was quite busy however I got my food reasonably quick and it was still hot when I got home definitely visiting again

Waited an hour for food, so I phoned and they said they couldn't deliver because it was too far. They never rang or anything it they had put a menu through our door! Now I have to make my own food which tastes disgusting so everybody loses.
