I ordered a kebab tonight and a bottle of coke, kebab was quite cold and I did not receive my coke. Same thing happened couple of months ago I didn’t get my drink and wedges were burnt last time. I won’t be back

Worst munchie box ever! 3 small pieces of chicken pakora, 4 doughy pieces of vegetable pakora, a handful of chips, 4 soggy onion rings,a handful of donner meat...some of which was hard. Won't be using this place again.

Had chips and kebab. Nice enough.

Large Donner kebab on nan bread, not much meat considering the price(over £9) packed out with chips and cheese, which I didn't expect or want, far better value to be had elsewhere

Food came after an hour and a half, was all cold, chips and onion rings were terrible. And they forgot part of my order.

Great wee chippy, food's really good and it's really really busy all the time which is obviously because of the quality. The staff have got a bit of banter when you're in n all 👍👍

No longer takes cards for payment in store. Directed to local shop a few doors down. Please note, you get charged for taking cash out, making your chippy even more expensive. Sadly, as a result, unless I have cash on me, I won’t be be visiting Mr Tastie any time soon. Thankfully, Mr Birdseye will be saving tea tonight.

Fish and chips were served freshed. Ate them in the car right away and could hear the crunch, crispy and light and not oily. Fish taste still retained and with a bit of salt and vinegar, it is very satisfying. The portion of chips are decent. Tried the fritzter and the photato was creamy and hot. The skin of the fried chicken thigh was remarkable. Service was quick. Staff were nice and price was reasonable. These food is meant to be eaten right away and worth a drive and dive into it. The Nutella pizza looked cute and definitely a winner for kids.

Never had a problem with the food here or the rest of the staff - The way the owner (female) speaks to her staff in front of the customers is an absolute joke and disgusting. Swearing and shouting at them. We all understand it gets stressful when busy but there is absolutely no need in her behaviour towards other people. Off putting. Wont be back.

My first visit back to Glasgow in years. Not been to Mr Tasties for years. Got fish n chips and it was indeed tasty. Would have gave 5 stars if I could park near the shop but it is a tight squeeze to get in the road next to the shop. Had to park on crookston road. Couldn't fault the food or staff tho. Lovely staff. Dynamite food.

Not cheap portions not big. But annoys me when you get a fish supper one bit fresh and other like rubber been lie around for a while

Order a hamburger super hamburger was very small and chips weren't much bigger. Also order a chicken kebab got 4 piece of chicken a small pitta and what was ment to be salad on the side which consists of shredded lettuce. Portion size very poor but price very high bit disappointed 🙁

Beautiful food, hospitality is above and beyond. The pizza was better then Dominoes. The staff are very friendly. Definitely coming back next time we are in Glasgow. The boys from The Car Group Bury

Fish was all batter most of it hard chips went straight in the bin both were cold Ice cream wasn’t delivered £16.20. Safe to say I won’t be back Very poor.

You’d think with all the bad reviews there getting the owners would read and try to improve, but NO!!!!! They don’t care. Wonder how they can make a profit. Think they should go on a course on how to cook properly and improve on there customer service. I saw the owner drop the scoop for chips fall on the floor and she continued to use. Hygiene course well over due

Got food last night had a big black hair n my chip cheese n curry asked for salt n vinegar on all of it none on any of it, ask for smoke sausage in batter n for it 2 b cut long ways not cut n no batter not happy at all

A great wee chippy - if you have the good fryer on; otherwise it's a greasy mess. I would have given it an excellent rating if I could guarantee the chef

I am a repeat customer and I've been going here for a few years now never had any issues. Normally I'd get a smoked sausage supper or fish supper or something with their curry sauce as every time I get it, the flavors are spot on and fresh made and the staff are very friendly and if you go enough they'll start remembering you're order! but whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you lol

You’d think on a Friday night at 5pm you’d get fresh food ... how wrong I was .... chips were half burnt and were at best reheats.... sausage tasteless and fritters soaked in grease...absolutely vile, avoid at all costs and find yourself a decent chippy

Never been before but the food was lovely, fresh and well priced. Made a 2nd visit and was just as nice. The donner meat is delicious as is the supper items.

Over an hour for delivery on a Saturday night but was definitely worth it!! Battered Sausage was delicious and the chips were lovely, chicken nuggets melted in the mouth and fritters were the best we’ve ever tasted!! Well worth it

Made an order via their app for home delivery and received a confirmation email at 17:58. Time passed and no delivery, I thought oh I’ve ordered haggis that takes a wee while. Time continues to pass and still no delivery I thought oh it’s Saturday they will be busy. Time passed and still no delivery. So I phoned, only to be told that the app doesn’t work and they didn’t have my order! Manager wouldn’t take my call? Wonder why? Shocking.

Best fish supper in the south side. Try a special supper, good sized portions. Pizzas are excellent too.

This is our local and I would not consider going anywhere else. The fish supper is always fresh and good amounts. Oven baked pizzas are delicious. Great pizza deals. My personal favourite is the Homemade Macaroni. Absolutely delicious. Owners and staff very friendly. Thank you guys.

Disgusting hoggie wraps. Stone cold with dry hard kebab meat, tasteless cheap cheese and 4 hard chips.....WTF

Got fish supper tonight and would have been as well asking for a batter supper small bit fish in it..rest was crust...

An hour an 50minutes for delivery. Called twice for updates and were given no help or assistance by the girl on the other end of the phone that stated, well were buzz and it’s not ready yet! When it arrived went straight in the bin. Must be the worse ever. Burger supper, fish supper and a sausage supper. All the chips were dry , hard and cold, the burger was black, burned and dried out under a rock solid batter, the fish was dried out, cold and batter was horrible. Sausages dried out, well cold and rock solid. Won’t be calling back!

My favourite chip shop by a mile, we always go here first whenever we fancy a chippie, the food isn't greasy and is well done, and the service is usually rather fast, even when it's busy.

This is my local chippie and the 2 fish suppers i bought tonight were very disappointing. The batter was hard and the fish was incredibly salty although I hadn't added any salt. The chips were very mediocre. Considering that I purchased them at a peak time, the suppers should have been fresh and crisp. £14 wasted.

l got the £11 pizza deal from here tonight which is advertised on the board as 9" pizza with 2 toppings, 2 bags of chips and 2 cans of juice.It used to be quite a bit cheaper than this the last time l was there but hey ho.The food was served to us but with only one bag of chips which l enquired about and was told it was a large bag which is what the £11 deal consisted of now but it clearly says 2 bags on the menu board.l added it up on the way home and if bought individually ,it works out cheaper than the deal therefore l felt it wasn't good value for money.To top it all ,l was given diet irn bru instead of irn bru and never noticed till l was home.Also, the pizza wasn't as good as it usually is ....may have changed the cheese as it was very bland.Won't be getting my custom again

Love their 'special' pizza, and fritter rolls.... defo an excellent chippy. It's busy, but I'm not surprised! It's worth it!!

Good chip shop. Kebabs good. Best to order as waiting customers can be behind orders. Means wait can be longer but food fresh

After being disappointed before I decided to give the shop another chance. Ordered chicken and chips, kebab and chips plus a bottle of coke (£1.69, I asked when ordering) total bill £14.40. Charge extra although in G53 area for delivery but was cold, still doesn't add up.

A good fish and chip shop. Nothing particularly different and probably not award winning but good. At peak times. Am be bit slow because of deliveries. Might be worth phoning in and collecting at those times

Ugh! Is about all I can say! I've tried this chippy a couple of times and I just don't get it? It's really pretty poor! Everything seems dry, reheated. So now we've found one on Peat Road won't be back.

Went there few months ago wasn't impressed fish dried out chips rotten most went in the bin including my misses portion .went again on way home from hospital on Sunday exactly the same reheat not fresh don't touch it

Always go to this chipshop , the food is excellent and made fresh to order , the staff are also very polite and efficient and finally the place is spotless and very well presented.

This is not a bad chippy but their service is absolutely shocking. I'm not sure if this is a takeaway or a delivery only joint!!! You pay your money but don't get any food for at least 20 mind with no reassurance that your order is on its way!!! If it's fast food you want give this place a wide berth!!! The couple who own it need to review the system in which they take orders and present the food to the customer...otherwise they are gonna lose a lot of customers!!!! Really shocking!!!!!!

Great wee chip shop far better than the one we usually use! Everything was neat and tidy and clean staff where lovely prompt and polite. Food fresh and NOT reheats!

Had not used this place for some time as I had previously found the food to be tastless and dry but I was passing it on my way home one evening and being very hungry thought I would give them a try once again. I should have kept driving past the place, nothings changed, the food is still tasteless and the chicken I had was awful. Never again.
