There is no such bad service, we placed an order at 9pm and now it's 11am and it hasn't been delivered yet 5 times on the phone and every time they say 2 minutes

we wait 2 hour for pizza the lady on the phone is absolutely horrible her hang up the phone 3 time on me.

I am a regular customer. Today I got pizza which was really very delicious and flavorsome. It was a made by a girl who had put more cheese into that and it was the best combo over. I highly recommend this pizza.

Took nearly 2 hours for pizza to arrive on a Wednesday evening. Had to chase twice with the restaurant. First time (an hour after I ordered) I was told the pizza had not been put in the oven yet. The second time (hour and half after order) I requested a refund and was told "that's not my problem" I cannot recommend this store

They very kindly sent a free pizza when Uber eats took me the wrong one, also very quick delivery

Waited 2.5 hours for delivery. Still not here. No one answers their phone despite trying over 20 times in an hour. Appalling service. No doubt pizza will arrive cold. If you’re too busy or short staffed don’t take the business

Slow delivery, expect to wait over an hour to get a phone call asking where you live so they can deliver Luke warm food, app is incredibly useless and doesn’t update so you’re left wondering what’s going on, and staff that really couldn’t give a toss about it, use dominos or go buy a tesco pizza, papa johns needs to stick to America

2 and a half hours i waited,ordered at 7:45 and received at 10:25. Ridiculous,no apology and did not seem to care. Will not order from them again.

Our local papa johns Pizza store is great. On the rare occasion that there is a problem, they will phone you to let you know and give you options for how you want them to fix it. The food is delicious and the delivery drivers are always friendly. They always have great deals available too.

Order my staff pizza at 17:00 because they were working late, the delivery arrived at 7.30 most the staff had left by then and the food was wasted, I expect a full refund

Unfortunately similar to other comments here, this is the second time in a row (after not ordering for a while) that the pizza delivery service is terrible. The app tracking is completely wrong and when you call they give you random wait times every time. I am still waiting on my pizza, it’s been over 2hrs and I cannot get in touch with anyone.

Possibly one of the worst food delivery experiences I have ever had. Stone cold and over an hour after after it said It was delivered. Terrible.

The pizza took forever for delivery and no one answered when i tried to cancel!!Imagine being extra hungry and having to go through this. I won't recommend.

Food quality is variable - occasionally the young Middle Eastern guy makes us a great pizza - great pizza. However, this evening the new lady made us a pizza that was miserable and ended up in the trash (2nd time this has happened) - very little cheese & sauce… please stop this lady making pizza and ruining what (until recently) has been a good reputation.

Food was lovely but the delivery driver arrived to the front door without my pizzas as he somehow forgot them and had to go back to the shop to get them.

Just be wary that the 5* reviews are quite obviously bots/fake. Not even particularly credible looking ones. Food was delivered approximately 2 hours after order placed, cold and congealed. Tried to call store over 10 times while waiting. Only answered phone once, where they stated the driver was 5 minutes away (took a further 30 minutes to deliver). Complained about delivery and was told that there was nothing they will do about it as I didn't drive the cold pizza back to the store on the same evening (bearing in mind by the time it was finally delivered the store was closed)

Absolutely disgusting service. Phoned the restaurant and was told 10 minutes after waiting an hour. The food never arrived so phoned again and again no answer kept getting ignored. How this place is even open I don't know.

Food was horrible. Ordered 2 x pizzas. (1 x vegan, 1 x meat) + some Vegan bites and they were all abysmal. Super over priced. So disappointed.

Cold and tasteless pizza. In addition, the garlic sauce was yellow and tasted butter. There was something seriously wrong with that order.

We had ham and mushroom pizza and for £19+ very little of both ham or mushroom visible,so poor value for money thought.

Pre booked for 15:45 , 30 minutes late, I called to complain and the guy lied to me over the phone.

Pizza not as good as other fast food pizza and my favorite thing is pizza dip and my 2 extra dips that we selected and paid for were missed which is really frustrating and we were stuck with the special garlic dip which is horrible.

Ordered a pizza at 7:21pm, didn't arrive until 8:51. Wouldn't mind as much but we were blatantly lied to both on the online tracking service and when we called up three times. It said it was being "checked and cut up" online for 30 minutes so we called asking for an update, told it would take 20 minutes but well over 20 minutes later it said it had been delivered, when it said it had been delivered for fifteen minutes we called again saying it hasn't arrived. First two times we called we were told random numbers for how long it would take and told not enough drivers and very busy (on a week night?) Final time we called they said they would call the driver and let us know but then hung up and never called back. Finally arrived an hour and a half later in total and it was okay but tomato taste was quite overpowering and all the other toppings were quite bland.

Waited an hour and 40 minutes for pizza to be delivered, wrong pizza delivered, phoned up and another pizza was sent out. I waited over an hour for the correct pizza.

After being 30 mins late I rang the restaurant and the man said that they were five minutes away. 15 minutes later I rang again and he said he was going to ring the driver and he put the phone down on me and never called me back and they were then still 45 minutes late with a cold pizza!!

I am very unhappy with this order. I ordered this, and it was late. When it arrived the order was closed, I then submitted an complaint on here, it said i would receive a refund, and it still hasnt come out of my account, even though it has been removed from my Pending on my account, which implies that i am not getting a full refund. Explanation please. I wish for my money back, can be done via Credit or cash.

The restaurant told me they were very, very busy and I was happy to wait. The pizza was yummy, the desserts were EXCELLENT, the portion sizes were really good and the driver was very polite and courteous - great job, thank you! :D

ordered 2 pizzas which were correct Ordered one garlic and herb sauce, which was missing telephoned restaurant immediately after ordering on line to ask to replace the two garlic dips with garlic herb dips which was told was ok No garlic and herb dips arrived. Ran out to delivery driver to inform him, he said someone would drop the correct dips round in 5 minutes. Needless to say, nothing arrived. Not the first time this has happened.

Shocking wait time and still no delivery. We ordered 2 pizzas at 7.30pm for delivery 2 miles away, to then still be waiting 2 hours later when we were told twice on the phone it would be with us in 5-minutes….said they would refund us, I wonder if it will ever actually show or if we will have to wait for that too. Due to being let down we ordered Dominos and they delivered in 20-mins - now that is service!!

I had ordered over the phone around 12:30pm. I payed £28.99 for two large pizza's, two sizes and a large drink! Such a good affordable price.The delivery driver came super fast and he was SO friendly.I will 100% be ordering from papa johns abingdon again.The pizza's were amazing (Tasty and warm).Not to mention the tomato sauce was piping hot!Such an underrated pizza franchise.

Our pizza was meant to be delivered at 8pm, at 8:20pm it was still not delivered even though the app said it was out for delivery at 7:50pm! At 8:20 we rang to be told it was on the way, at 8:30 still no pizza so rang again, pizza arrived at 8:35 and it was cold!! When we rang they did not seem bothered it was 35minutes late or worried it might be cold!

Been ordering from here a few times.A couple of times late.Tonight waited over 1 hour and no delivery.I phoned the shop it was very noisy.Spoke to one person then to be passed onto another.I was told that they were very busy so cancelled my order but never let us know.Get people in the shop with phone manners.

The delivery simply did not happen. The order was placed but the food was never prepared. It was only when I called the restaurant an hour later that they started preparing the order and I ended up collecting there

Didn’t get my drinks, or the side I ordered. Phoned up the restaurant and they said it was on its way, it never came in the end. Waste of money.

The person on the phone was mocking me when I asked why there were things missing on my pizza,to add on to that,the food came over 2hours later because the machine didn't process it and they didn't look so that was there excuse,extremely disappointed,I expected some respect but all I got was a horrible evening.Besides from that they said they were going to bring back the missing things and guess what,it never came,I'm disgusted,appuled by this behaviour.
