First question- would you like some water? Yes please - expected a jug of tap water - no bottled water (£5) A 250 ml glass of House Wine was £11 The Veal was £17.50 but chips and salad were all extra. Portions were small The Salad looked like it came out of a bag from Sainsburys. £5 for a coke Zero By the time we paid service charge our Bill was £80. We know it's London but felt ripped off.

Popped in on a Tuesday evening for dinner with my wife and daughter who was moving down for university. Nice welcome and friendly staff showed us to our table. Authentic Italian food on offer which was delicious and two bottles of recommended wine that frankly hit the spot. Staff were pleasant and chatty throughout and we all felt at home. Would highly recommend if in the area or London generally.

Simply amazing. Amazing service. Delicious food. Pretty restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. The restaurant was packed. There was a lovely buzz of chatter and good vibes. We went for our son’s birthday. The staff dimmed the lights and bought out a cake. It was so nice. Will go back and I will recommend it to friends and family.

Prior to Monday evening (02/09/2024) the last time I visited here was around 20 years ago with friends and colleagues and then I thought it was great. On Monday I returned with my Wife and Children, having talked to them about how amazing it was when I last visited but with a little trepidation that in 20 years it might have changed. Pleased to say not one bit. It has an amazing ambience a truly authentic Italian with a number of signature dishes many of which have survived the whole 20 years. I ordered the Liver with Bacon and onions and it was still as good as I remember it. My Kids wont usually eat liver but they tried mine and made me order another portion. The service was second to none and we all had an incredible evening. It isnt cheap but its quality well worth paying for.

A fourth visit and so most remiss of me not to have reviewed before now. This time I dined with a close friend, having previously visited with my wife, my wife and a friend of ours and on my own (when they provided a very good Cosmopolitan - they are not always this good elsewhere). Always the same friendly welcome and superb service. Cheery conversation and really excellent food. A good range of wines, with a delicious Pinot Grigio as the house white; good temperature and fine flavour. I think that my favourite is the Spaghetti Bolognese. Paolo's serves this with meat, rather than some weak sauce. Truly delicious. Well done and thank you again. Five Stars!

Paolo's was recommended to me by friends and it certainly didn't disappoint. I was seeking a light dinner after work and had a fabulous dish of sea bass and fresh veg, washed down with a delicious glass of house Italian Diavolo. In truth I had two! Very friendly and efficient staff, including the attentive owner, and for a great price too. Highly recommended. 5* rating.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in London so far. We had the lasagne and the steak with peppercorn sauce and they were so delicious. The lasagne is genuinely amazing. Service and food fantastic in everyway. For my daughters 18th treat as a family went to see Lion King and then have diner here. The food was lovely and it was great to see my picky 13 year old wolf down her garlic bread and chicken Milano with a side order of pasta. Birthday girl had pasta with seafood and the chef changed her sauce to her liking. I had fillet steak and it was beautiful. This welcoming restaurant must be commended for their friendly and professional service. They always made sure my girls where ok and even made her a birthday cake to top off a magical day and evening. It was my second visit here, I travel to London 4/5 times a year and use the premier inn in Hanger Lane and Paolo’s will always be the place I will eat.

Came here as was recommended by family . Table of 6 me my partner and my brothers . We began with starters … the garlic bread was the cheapest garlic bread that you can do yourself at home and very burnt , bruschetta again just made with garlic bread with chopped tomatoes , lettuce and cucumber . Not in any way similar to a traditional Italian. On to mains , which were extremely over priced . Spag bowl was your bog standard Tesco microwave meal , the steak which they give a fancy name and charge £27 was a sirloin steak . The mains do not come with sides for 14 chips I paid £4.00 , when ordering new potatoes for £4.50 you only get 3. The chicken in breadcrumbs and veal in bread crumbs had no taste and looked exactly the same. Just very dissapointed The staff had no idea what was going on , very nervous very awkward and could barley communicate with us. (English). Overal a total bill of £250 and I don’t think it was worth it at all and will not be returning unfortunately .

Tagliolini ai gamberi con la pasta cotta a dovere, come in Italia, ravioli ricotta e spinaci, fatti in casa, al burro e salvia e poi pesce arrosto, saltimbocca alla romana, frittura di pesce calamari ecc. con contorni vari, tagliere di formaggi misti, ed i dolci davvero squisiti.... abbiamo bevuto su consiglio di Mimmo, un simpatico ed accorto direttore di sala, un bel rosso, di corpo, biologico, davvero buono ed infine, a fine pasto, un bicchierino di vino di PORTO, offertoci dalla amabilissima signora Zefirina... insomma una bella esperienza che abbiamo anche ripetuto la sera successiva

Visité la noche del viernes de Paolo con mi joven familia de 5 para el cumpleaños de mi hijo. Nos dieron un stand que se adaptaba perfectamente a nosotros. Mi marido tenía hígado de ternera con mantequilla y salvia y yo tenía langostinos con calamares y raviolis caseros como entrantes. Dejé el vino para que ellos eligieran por nosotros y quedé muy contento con su selección. Nos obsequiaron con algo de magia que a los niños les encantó. Definitivamente volveremos a visitar, ya que hizo que la ocasión fuera memorable.

Incluso en estos tiempos difíciles de COVID, el restaurante de Paolo sigue siendo lo que siempre ha sido, un gran restaurante local dirigido por una familia. We were staying at the Travelodge and arrived after 8.30pm on a Friday. We thought we were doomed to the chain restaurants opposite the hotel. On the way we tried Paolo's which I'd seen on TA. It wasbusy but we got a table straight away. The food, service and ambience were all first class. It was a very warm evening and the front of the restaurant was open which made it feel like Rome! Anyone who lives nearby and likes Italian food is verylucky.

Shared a calamari as a starter, excellent and a generous portion. I had the calves liver, bacon and onions, never fails to deliver. My wife had veal Milanese, again excellent and a generous portion.veg was plentiful and fresh and zucchini is always good.

Mis primeras impresiones no fueron altas, fue un comienzo lento. El camarero que nos mostró nuestra mesa, estaba lejos de ser acogedor y temía que las críticas más negativas del restaurante fueran ciertas. Esperamos un tiempo para que nos pidieran si queríamos pedir algunas bebidas, y tardaron un poco más en ser entregados. Fuimos pacientes, ya que pudimos ver que estaban ocupados, y todos los demás en el restaurante se veían muy relajados y felices.

I was hugely disappointed with this place having read all the positive reviews. I am also quite shocked at how my expectations were so far from the dining experience here.

I cannot believe the review left here about the lasagne! Don’t know where they eat usually but the lasagne here is amongst the best. Everything here is home made and they don’t deserve a revue like this. I’ve been going here for nearly 18 years and can assure you the food is excellent as is the service. Stick to McDonalds pal!

Best italian restaurant in West London! I’m actually writing this at the same time I’m eating their delicious food. I’ve tried almost everything in the menu and everything is delicious and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend, warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Good value for money.

Been to the restaurant 3 times. Each time we have found the food well cooked, tasty and substantial. We still are getting use to the waiter who doesn't smile, can appear rude and often clears the plates almost immediately we finish our last morsel on the plate. We put.up with this knowing that the food is enjoyable and overall good value. It is also conveniently local to us.

I was dining alone and arrived soon after the restaurant had opened. Warm and chatty greeting made me feel at ease straight away. The menu is simple and was presented with a separate list of specials.

We visit Paulos for a family birthday. Having moved away we only get back over to west London periodically.

Ambiance is pleasant. However, the food is insipid or bad; it is over-priced; and the service is surly. We left feeling as if we had been robbed. We went for lunch on a weekday, Perhaps dinner is better, resulting in better reviews; but we will not be returning to see.

It is always fun going to Paolo’s. Real, honest Italian cookery in a relaxed atmosphere. Stef, the owner is always up for a laugh and a dab hand with a magic trick.

Booked Paulo's for my wife's Birthday dinner. One of the tastiest fillet steaks I have had in a long time. Cracking, friendly service. Sensibly prices. What's not to like.

This restaurant made our visit to London worth it. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and outstanding food. We went the first night for my birthday and they brought out a slice of cake with a candle and everyone joined in with happy birthday. The homemade pasta was so good. Everything was fresh, seasoned well and served at just the right temperature. All I can say is fantastic. The first night I had fettuccine alfredo as a starter (you can have it as a main or starter) and Veal with ham and cheese served with homemade sauce. My husband had the soup starter and veal with buttery lemon sauce. The next night he had the fettuccine albedo starter and veal breaded escalope and I had grilled lamb. Then we both had dessert. He had the creme brûlée and I had white chocolate honey biscuit cheesecake. It was all fantastic. It is just 5 bus stops from the Holiday Inn West. It is worth the visit to London.

We are staying at the travel lodge at royal park. Just trying to get our bearings and stumbled across this beautiful little restaurant. We arrived with our 2 young girls, tired and hungry. We were served by Ella who was happy, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was served fast and was possibly the best we have had in an Italian restaurant, lots of little personal touches with. We would highly recommend anyone eat here

This family run restaurant is very well established and has a lot of very loyal customers, the food and service is excellent

Tuvimos una cena de colegas dejando aquí y fue precioso, todos nos gustó mucho la comida. Pedí el penne arribiata y el chocolate blanco y honeycomb tarta de queso estaban deliciosos! Un amigo ordenados los scampi que era servido con arroz, que parecía y olía deliciosa, sin duda que la próxima vez! El propietario hizo algunos magia y el ambiente era muy agradable! Sin duda volveremos pronto!
