Popped over for some Parathas Sunday morning and desi chai. It was a wonderful experience. Food was delicious, tea was a proper desi cuppa. They also really cater for those with allergies. Nut free environment which is super for us to eat out. Definitely will go again. Well worth a visit.

This is great for authentic home cooked food and have visited a few times now for both takeaway and dining in. Have tried aloo gobi, saag, bhangan paratha and more recently veg thali. All delicious and quite spicy (right amount for me). Only thing I would suggest is using less oil in the dishes. But other than this we’ve all enjoyed the food and especially the tabs roti which were soft and a good size.

I went to this establishment after a funeral, when we went to the front door, we were two minded should we or should we not go in but we decided to go inside we were greeted with a big smile from a gentleman who asked us to take a menu and sit down after looking at the menu which was a mixed fushion menu we decided to have a mix of English and Punjabi food. I would just like to say the food was absolutely brilliant. We had travel from Leicester and we have a lot of Indian/English Caffe restaurants, but this place surely was excellent definitely be back

First time my partner took him. Great location, hidden away off a busy road. Parking available, as you enter wexoed by smiling faces and kind staff. It's clean, plenty of seating. The menu has a range of food options catering for all. I had gobi paratas and yogurt and Achar. Beautifully cooked, right amount of spice. Delicious. My parter loves the Fusion breakfast, the tarla beans made to perfection and very tasty. WELL DONE. Definitely coming here again. Little hidden gem in Great Barr!! Try it

Food was not cooked properly. Disgusting with no taste. Yoghurt was disgusting. Mooli not to be seen. Some paraths overcooked and burnt. Done undercooked. Never going there again. Ruined our lunch. What a waste of time and money!

We enjoyed freshly cooked parathas. They were definitely value for money, the size of the paratha was bigger than normal. We did have a wait but if you want freshly made paratha then you will have to wait, that is better than reheated ones. I would highly recommend punjai rasoi.

We had heard very favourable comments about Panjabi Rasoli from our Punjabi friends and decided to pay it visit, by coincidence at lunch time on Valentine's Day! Our mission was to find and consume a paratha as soft and delicious paratha that you would find in any home. We were not disappointed. We ordered 3 parathas: aloo, gobi and mooli, and a sweet lassi. The food arrived within 15 to 20 minutes, with lime pickle and and lashings of plain yoghurt. It was was fabulously tasty and comforting. I should add that access for wheelchairs is excellent, and the disabled facilities spacious. This is a family-friendly, family-run venture which deserves to be better-known. The boss was very keen to know that we'd had a good experience. We had and we shall be back!

No mater what you order it's always tasty and value for money. Would recommend to all. My mix protea was hot when served, taste great with fresh yoga and mix pickle. As for the desi chai just adds to the taste.

Upon arrival waited 45mins no staff mentioning to customers the ridiculous times they had instore for us. Not only had people waiting first but when we came to finally order was happily informed by a smiling face staff there's 1 hour 45 min wait, be it English or punjabi menu. I should have known myself after watching so many people leave after waiting but I too become to join those who left. This would definitely be my last time visiting this place as something similar happened on a previous visit. One advice I would give is employ staff to ensure you can cater for atleast those who make an effort to come into the restaurant waiting than focusing on takeaway/phone orders. To avoid disappointments you know what you got to do. I would purely rate this on efforts and organisation...0

I went to this restaurant on a recommendation I seen on somebody’s Instagram, me and a friend decided to go along, the restaurant was not very busy at the time of arrival, we placed our order to be told our wait would be 25 mins, that’s great no problem. We sat down and our order still had not arrived for 40 minutes. At this point the restaurant is starting to get busier, a family of 4 who’s arrived 15 mins after us got there food before us. A large group who came also started to get there food slowly. When our food finally did arrive I was still waiting for yoghurt and spices, I’ve now eaten my breakfast & I’m still waiting for yoghurt and spices for my Prontah, I understand at times buisness can get busy but looking after customer is also key. 1 staff in particular behind the counter seemed very reserved to do any work when I asked for something she told another staff member to carry out this job even though this staff member was carrying out another job. This will be the first and last time I will come to this place, overall the food was half decent, I’ve tasted far better Thurka Beans, the beans here tasted bland with no kick to them. Definitely should be looking at staff members and look to train staff, also prices are very expensive, for a breakfast on Sunday where I’d normally go with a friend is just over 15 pounds, todays meal at this place cost nearly £27… Overpriced, Understaffed definitely in the kitchen, Overstaffed on the front counter..

Myself and a friend visted this restaurant today and we experience probably the worst service we have ever cane across. We was told by the ladies on the service counter whilst ordering that we would have to wait 25 minutes which we agreed that was fine. We waited in the end 40+ minutes and started to see people that had come in after us receive their food before us even though we ordered a more simple dish. When we asked how long our food was they stated they are waiting for the fish fingers which ideally takes 15 mins max to cook from frozen. Also whilst we finally received our food we seen more customers complaining. I will not be returning to this Cafè in the near future.

WOW... Visited after a longtime and was pleasantly mind blown by the decor, atmosphere, GREAT MENU and service. If your in the area, hungry and looking for a good quality snack or meal then this is the place. We unexpectedly tried the Confusion Parotahs and were mind blown by the taste and fillings, definitely a must try. Everything on the menu is a joy to eat and must try for all. Will be back for more... BON APPETITE

Went here with friends and family. Altogether there were 4 adults and 3 kids. Food was nice but took over an hour to get to us. Drinks, and talking about cans and water took an hour. When we asked about the food we were told Indian food takes longer to cook than English food!!! And then it was cold. Couldn't understand why people who come in after us got served before. Seems there us some sort of favoritism. The whole visit was disappointing and wouldn't go again.

Went over the xmas hols and they had no pub food, only out of date crisps (which they were advertising?!) Didnt seem to want to make the effort for customers and staff were on phones, causing waiting times in a pretty unbusy pub. Didnt stay long at all. Its a shame, it used to be a cracking pub
