Pangea Cafe in Tower Hamlets

I love this place cause it feels great coming here, tastes great drinking or eating here, and the owner Gabe and his little doggie Archie are charming lovely and friendly! The coffee is first class. Consistently perfect. The variety of options includes all the coffee house standards and some funky teas, oat milks, toasties, granola, and chocolate from some Australian brands that keep it tasty, fun, in different ways, but always high standards. The owner, Gabe, is a charming chatty young Australian who brings joy on each visit, remembers your name and what you like and how you like it. Truly personal and friendly service! His cute little puppy, Archie, is as sweet as can be. When you come here, you are supporting a small business which does nice stuff for the neighbours. Free compost, for example. Free plants occasionally, from a local gardener who has more than he needs. Flyers for community events, offers and more. I started coming here during lockdown, and have been a regular since.

La cafetería no es un título adecuado para este establecimiento. Su umbral está más relacionado con las puertas del cielo. La sedosidad y el sabor de mi café es algo con lo que todavía sueño. I LOVED discovering this little spot in Shoreditch. How fabulous! Coming from Melbourne Australia the heart and soul of cafe culture where coffee is everything, I wasn’t sure what to expect in London. I’m pleasantly surprised that Londoners are catching on to good coffee and what better place to find than one that is owned by an Australian. The space is gorgeous and shared with a cool clothing label. I just loved the interior outfit. It’s in such a great location. Shoreditch is bustling with super cool cafes, bars and little fashion boutiques. Highly recommend a visit.

Gorgeous little cafe, inside a men’s clothing store, run by a lovely Aussie guy, who knows his coffee. There’s always a few pastries, fruit and chocolate but I hear next year he is stepping it up with smashed avo on the weekend menu. So worth a visit
