Ok food - took quite a while for my takeaway though

Best chinese in ruthin, even denbighshire! Food was great, service fast and devoured it in one big gulp😛

Only serving vermicelli with chow mein is not my favorite, I prefer thicker noodles with mine, the mushrooms and chicken were great but a bit oily. Nice place, quick service and food was great apart from those mentioned.

Hardbto find but totally worth seeking out. Crispy duck exceptional 🙌 Note to owner... Put a sign on the road!

Best place to get a Chinese takeaway in Ruthin

Nice Chinese food cooked to order with good ingredients. I took the roast duck and Malay rice. Nice old building but no ambiance as most customers get a take away

Got a takeaway this evening which was the worst Chinese takeaway meal I've ever had ! salt and pepper chicken was absolutely solid an inedible an couldn't even find any chicken in it all the other stuff tasted burnt the only thing that was any good was the prawn crackers, rang to complain a man answered and started to go through order then a woman came on the phone an says ok goodbye an puts phone down, no customer service whatsoever an will not be eating there again

First time eating in rather than takeaway. The decor is definitely outdated, the attention to detail could use some work. And we believe the wine menu could do with a refresh. On a positive note, the service was 10/10. Very polite staff, made sure we had everything we needed. Checked to ensure everything was okay minutes after receiving starters and mains, nothing was too much trouble. Cost was reasonable. Overall a 7.5/10 experience! 3* but the staff exceed expectations so weve given 4*. Would more than likely return!

Visited Panda Garden whilst on Holiday in the area. Really pleased with the quality of the food and friendly service. Cantonese cuisine can be a bit hit and miss but this is one to recommend!

Gave up trying to call, 25 mins of engaged tone was 20 mins too long for me.

I had a hot and sour soup to start which was okay. I was freezing and just grateful for something warm. The prawn crackers were very greesy. We ordered Singapore vermicelli, vegetable curry and Malaysian fried rice, everything was inedible. Tasted like reheated days old food. No flavour whatsoever. We didn't eat any of it, literally had a mouthful of each dish each. No discount or refund, just took our full plates away and brought the bill. I would of expected some type of guesture after seeing we ate nothing and we told the waitress we couldnt eat any of it. Would say its the worst Chinese I have ever had.

We just stopped here on our trip not sure what to expect as the score was low. However both me and my husband liked the food and the staff was very nice. Definitely would recommend

Been trying to order for 30 mins on phone no answer so going the Welcome.

We stumbled up on this restaurant as its a bit out of the way, we were the only people in there which made me a bit apprehensive about staying. But the food did not disappoint when it came it was delicious and there was so much when it came.

Take away very poor. No sauce with ribs, special fried rice not very good as it was a small rice with juice in another pot. We ordered a chicken fried rice which was not very good either the sweet and sour chicken ball were poor, not even the cat would eat them. Will not be ordering from this Chinese ever again, the cost of it all aswell was very expensive for the poor quality of the food.

Awful. Cold on delivery, missing parts, gelatinous gloop. Shame as I was quite looking forward to it. 😕 I'll try snozzcumber next time.

Absolutely terrible , got home opened my meal up to my rice full of paper absolutely apauled have photo evidence this is the worst restraunt in town

Visited on Saturday evening, difficult to find, but hidden little gem. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and professional. They even had my favorite wine on the menu! 5 stars!

We tried a Take-away from here tonight and it was absolutely delicious.Its not over priced at all.Portions are generous too!This was our first time we have had a meal from here as we are new to the area.We will be ordering again from here in the near future after this experience.Pleasant staff and speedy delivery.

Panda Garden is a really friendly family run restaurant and take away. The prices are really good and you can have an excellent and fulfilling meal for 3 for under £20. Personally and by far, my favourite take away.

Absolutely top notch 👌 Flawless. You name it, they nailed it. Service, course timings, flavour, temperature of food - the lot.

Well we ordered a Chinese this evening 7th.11.2021. The food was vile. Not even the things we ordered the one thing I do know is we won't be going there again.

Food was lukewarm and not up to the standard we're used to at our local. The restaurant was cold, paint peeling from ceilings. Our main server however was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Have been here a lot and oderded chicken and mushroom and fried rice every time.Good and tasty and plenty of it.Friendly lady on the counter

Lovely Chinese restaurant! nestled in an old 13th/14th century building, fuses old with Chinese decor and style. Great food for modest price and friendly owners. Definetly be back when I'm in Ruthin again. :-)

Got here late midweek, and were the only people in the restaurant. Staff were friendly, attentive and quick. Food was good, big portions. Quite difficult to find, and had we not been struggling with options for where to eat, we might not have stopped in here - not very inviting from the front door and had noone else in the restaurant (usually a sign that we wouldn't go in)

We had a lovely take away meal. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced too. Friendly staff.

Best Chinese takeaway in Ruthin by far

Wow, that was shocking? The rice was so undercooked you'd have thought it had just come out of the paddy field. The salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken was absolutely dire, in fact there was so much salt we'll have to watch out sodium intake for the next month, and the curry had so much oil floating on top I should have realised it was going to be a shocker. Just awful and certainly will not be ordering from here again. They're lucky I gave them 1 star. (Tried to call them before posting review but phone constantly engaged, ohh I do feel for those ordering this awful food).

Best Chinese in the area by far, the staff are friendly and grateful for your custom. My favourite take away in the area!

Panda Garden Restaurant is situated in. First floor restaurant on Well Street, just off At Peter's Square. The licensed restaurant offers a fully specified menu in a well appointed restaurant, and offers a takeaway service for those in a rush. This is a town centre restaurant which relies on street parking and nearby public car parks. Food has always been good when I have eaten there and is a long-standing constituent of Ruthin's restaurant scene.

Welcome people this is a place I would not recommend in a visit or order from based on our order experience. They are completely Rude on the phone, when I complained about food they suddenly don’t understand!!!! I ordered the food we ordered what we wanted and was not expecting it not there and then to be told it was there why would I phone you then...... A photo will be added of the order and they even ticked off what was packed and clearly was wrong, They even serve half portions now if your hungry this is not what you want to see..... I was told that it was correct and I had to bring it back myself and they would look at it what’s is the point in ordering the food when they can’t even deliver one simple order... I hope you take my advise on this matter as wouldn’t want anymore disappointment avoid at all costs............

I think this has got to be the worst chineese I have had. Chicken is well overcooked, curry has no flavour they also mess your order up.

It's easy to miss this place because it is upstairs and almost no sign on the street. We had soups and a main course each. My sweet and sour chicken was delicious. Service was great, but we were only ones there for a bit. I would go back.

It wasn't the best Chinese I've had, but it was still nice and the staff were friendly, with good service.

Went on a Saturday night with a large party. We hadn't booked and they just couldn't cope. Waited almost 2 hours for food, while other people arriving way after us were served first. Some items didn't arrive, staff argued about this and tried to charge for them, it was a bit of a nightmare. That said when the food came it was tasty and in generous portions...

Limited choice of both veg and fish dishes but otherwise good value for money. Ordered 1/4 aromatic duck & veg spring rolls for starters and chicken in chilli sauce, mixed veg with black bean, egg fried rice & veg chow mein for 3 people. No complaints about the food or the service. Worth a visit if you're in Ruthin.
