Meelava Pizza & Kebab in Denbighshire

I ordered a Donner wrap which was very nice however did get served cold however it was 3.30 in the afternoon and was really quite so I completely understand them turning the spit off for the kebab meat if I have to be honest I still really enjoyed it t my partner order some chips and curry sauce and they seemed hot and soft in the middle and slightly crispy on the outside I do recommend coming here but maybe come around 5.00pm as the lamb meat should be warmer then

Large cod chips x2 absolutely gorgeous, fish cakes delicious as well and tried their scallops last night, proper nice chippy food, nice curry sauce as well many thanks 👍 gorgeous chicken doner kebab as well 😁

We were very hungry family of 3 after a long jurney we have noticed this place on rhyl promenade, the food was so tasty freshly cooked and a good quality, i will definitely recommend this place 👌

First of all, staff member charged me for multiple things I didn’t order, didn’t notice until I checked receipt, charged for a fish we didn’t order, charged for chips we didn’t order, then charged extra for peas + gravy then what it would be just to buy them separate. Fish was relatively un-edible, soggy batter, chips and curry have upset my stomach, tables and chairs just left in just a mess, will not be eating here again.

It’s one of the best kebab shop around Rhyl. The food is freshly cooked and salad is fresh too. The staff was helpful and nice

Stayed in the premier inn next door. Thought it was a convenient location for a late night kebab, to be disappointed. 11pm is the stated closing time online, 2 nights in a row was let down by this place, due to being closed an hour early the first time and 3 hours early the second time! It’s quite hard during weekdays to find somewhere open later than 11, and this place had really good reviews. After 2 busy days we left eating until later on, and was disappointed both times unfortunately, as eating at this place earlier wasn’t an option due to being out of the area until 8/9pm.

Consistently good fish and chips... I am really quite fussy about the quality of the food I eat and I am pretty vocal if it is good or bad! Both visits so far have been exceptionally good. Fish is cooked to order and doesn't spend half the day under a heat lamp. The chips were absolutely perfect. Best I've had in a while. Visit... You will not be disappointed :)

It's a chippy - you know what you are getting. The main problem is the service isn't great. Deliveroo and takeout orders get precedence over dine-in customers, so I waited 15 minutes for a small order.

Surprisingly good traditional fish and chips. Fish not oily or too dry, chips were soft and had some crunchy bits too. Sauce was used sparingly. The inside eating area was clean and tidy.

It's pretty nice. With the large doner kebab they give you a pretty nice portion for £7. The doner meat taste good but I still highly recommend people to ask for extra sauce, don't be afraid to ask. The salad on the kebab was fresh and crisp. Disappointing thing was the pitta bread which was chewy so best to rip it to pieces then eat it. There are towels and sprays so you can clean the tables yourselves which was really handy and I really like this idea. Sink is outside of the toilet so you don't have to wait to wash your hands whilst the toilet is occupied. Service was at a moderate pace. Overall. It's nice so far but then again I've only tried one thing.

Was running late for lunch and didn't expect much but everything was tasty and piping hot 😋 My Chicken Burger and Chips were nice but nothing compared my daughters Chicken Doner which was really tasty 😋

Had big expectations for this as heard many good things about it but personally didn’t have a great experience. The delivery was late by 15 mins, the driver stayed in his car for ages even thought I said I was at my door waiting, the food was ok but not amazing, chips were underdone, chicken donner didn’t feel or look fresh and the soggy wrap didn’t help also the chicken Shish wrap chicken was dry .. over all the best thing about the order was the pizza as it was actually quite good but dissatisfied with the over all order like I said heard good things but I’ll stick to Bodrum
