PANAM Restaurant & Bar in Liverpool

Had a wonderful meal the Service was excellent and the two waitresses that served us was candy and Chantelle and they were absolutely lovely. We had a laugh and they had time to talk to us which helps with the atmosphere a beautiful place to dine.

We just went in for a couple of refreshing beers

Nice place to eat and happy it served gluten free food.. I particularly enjoyed the afternoon menu as there was more gluten free things on there like the pizza..

Date of our visit - 18.02.25 @ 5pm Firstly yes it’s a little cold throughout the building and there were very few others dining, we didn’t mind this at all. Obviously food will cool down quickly, which mine did because I take too many photos. We loved the decor and all the songs/music played was absolutely our jam. My youngest son and I had steak which we both enjoyed, my older son had the seafood clay pot which to me looked revolting but he enjoyed it, it was his first taste of muscles and they went down a treat. Good service and of the three restaurants we went to during our Liverpool trip this was the best table by far. Candle was lit and we felt very cosy.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and beautiful. We ordered a pork stew, it was tasty but there was little meat. The fish and chips were tasty but I found the fried fish a little greasy, but it was worth the experience. The draft beer was very good.

Fish and ships very good. Homemade pie beef too. Sure value.

One of the worst experiences. Everything was bad. Table of 5 No atmosphere, no one there on a Thursday night. Freezing cold, no heating, shivering during meal Korean burger - burnt, no white meat to see, not as described House Panam burger, burnt. Drinks being pushed the whole time

Beautiful ambiance, I really loved it, staff were very busy during weekend, and it's tough to get the attention, but it's a really nice place to go with family and friends and catch up with mates, relaxing and good vibe restaurant, about food I ordered Lamb Tagine it was average according to me and non alcoholic drinks were extremely sweet. Apart from that I really loved my time in PANAM 🫰

Just had a dinner with family. The food are lovely, non left on my plate! Mum enjoyed her seafood while my husband finished his lamb. Price is reasonable as the serving is big compared to London. Will recommend it, one is for their food and serving is quick and staff are attentive. Panam makes my Liverpool experience memorable ❤️

The Panam venue is exceptional, offering stunning elegance and high-quality service. Following a successful security operation there, we highly recommend their restaurant and bar. A 10/10 rating is fully justified.

Visited yesterday with a party of 7. Had a table in the very nice and relaxed bar area. Staff were all friendly and helpful, our order was taken promptly as was the food service. We all had different dishes and were all very happy with the quality of the food served. I had the 'Scouse' Scouse which was absolutely excellent. If you're visiting Albert Docks I would highly recommend eating here

When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a spacious, modern, fresh setting. The place is very big, it doesn't have a terrace, but it has a very nice view from the inside. The menu offers a fairly wide range of dishes, you have plenty to choose from. There are also vegetarian dishes, I didn't notice vegan ones. I served a kind of buddha bowl. All the products were fresh, and the dishes had the warmth of home cooking. The restaurant also caters for all tastes, offering a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The prices of the dishes are decent. It is justified, the quality-price ratio. The place was about half full, the food came in a decent time of 15-20 minutes.  The service was good, the waiters are kind, funny and very talkative, in a good way and they do their job very well. I recommend!

Great place, very quiet, fast and lovely service with a nice selection of food and drinks. Will come again.

Girls Christmas night out for bottomless brunch. The drinks were disgusting, and we will not be going again.

Manager was rude and passive aggressive. Wasn't allowed to order from the main menu when my party was bottomless. Was told if I did I would be moved on my own to another table for 1 and wouldn't be able to remain with my friends. I then proceeded to order from the bottomless and told I wasn't allowed to choose how my steak was cooked.

The food is tasteless. Scouse stew has only carrots and potatoes. I thought it was a beef stew. High prices for a bad quality food

Really enjoyed our visit. We felt lucky to get in as we hadn't booked. The Hearty menu is genuinely hearty and filling as well as tasting wonderful. The camembert share starter was fabulous.

We enjoyed lovely food and brilliant cocktails. Great service,very friendly. Candy was our server. Definitely recommend if your near the Albert Dock.

Save your money, very over priced and upstairs which is where we were seated is very basic and cheap compared to downstairs when you first walk in. 2 starters, 2 mains and 3 pepsis for £80!!! On top of that it's obvious that some of the food is frozen and isn't fresh which I would expect if i'm paying £80. You're better off going to Gusto or Miller and Carter and paying that as you know the food is going to be 10 times better than this. Very disappointed and won't be going again.

I booked well in advance but when one of our guests said that they had a pepper allergy, the manager refused to serve us. We were told that the kitchen was too busy to cope with someone with food allergies. The message is clear, the manager is risk averse and don’t go if you have any dietary requirements. Fortunately, there are a number of restaurants nearby that are perfectly happy to cater to any dietary requirements, gusto should be at the top of that list. The person that has the allergy eats out frequently and has never before been refused service, overall I’d avoid this restaurant.

Never got told that we have to wait 50 minutes for seafood. Our waiter never came up to us, only to take an order and we never saw her after. The food was great but the service was lacking.

Lovely meal again. Recommend the beef and ale pie with mash, really really nice and the heavy is lovely and rich. Good atmosphere even on a Tuesday night. No booking required, just walked in. Lovely cocktails, 2 for £15. Great service, lovely place.

Came here for a birthday. They didn't do candles or balloons, which I think they should do considering how popular they are. Food was nice. The size of the chocolate cake was ridiculous, was eaten in 3 bites, and was not good value for money. The lady server was hovering over us as we were spending time discussing the bill instead of giving us a few mins. Music was a bit loud and had to shout at each other.

Jed and Ella gave us good services! Kept sending drinks, unlike some places where they slow down the service for bottomless drink bruncyes!

When walked in it wasn't so full so we thought it'd be nice, we got two steaks and two cokes the total came to £70 i paid in cash and wish i had a receipt that shocked me never have i ever paid that much for a sirloin steak and it wasn't worth no where near that.

The morning was cold and even colder cruising the Mersey. But we received the nicest and warmest welcome when we arrived in the Panam restaurant for lunch before we headed off to visit The Beatles story. Karolina took great care of us seating us at a warm a cozy table and efficiently taking our drinks and food order. The food was delicious. I had the Thai curry and my husband enjoyed the Chicken pasta. Better yet the food was nice and warm too. (We have spent a couple days in Liverpool and too often hot dishes get served lukewarm at best, why?) Anyway, we really enjoyed our food and that was followed by the best coffee to-date here in Liverpool. We would definitely go back and enjoy the hospitality, food and service. Karolina is definitely an asset to the restaurant. Thank you.

Everything was alright the environment was great ,music was lovely, it wasn't too busy or empty and the drink was fine only downside about the blueberry mujito was the amount of ice in it which made it hard to drink. Here is a picture of the empty glass.

Very nice place near the pier. The Fish & Chips were decidedly bland but the potatoes were excellent as were the sauces. Prices tend to be high. The staff were friendly but at times a little "lost".

Lovely meal at the end and getting the bill there was a 10% service charge which should of mounted up to £9.50 with it being hidden next to a meal costing the same amount the service charge was £17.50 disgusted by it saying 10% it was nearly double so asking to take it off the staff attitude changed like she didn’t care disgusting attitude won’t return Very disappointed

Karolina was an excellent waitress and made are dining experience all the more awesome.

Nice location on the docks. This place is quite large with two levels. The menu is varied with lots of different choices. We had the scouse which was good and the portion size was massive. The bruschetta was lacking in flavor, and we wish it had more cheese and balasamic. The seasoned fries were as expected. Service was good.

Went for bottomless dinner here on Saturday night with the girls. Was really impressed with the service and the food and portions. The steak was good considering this isn't a steak restaurant, fries were a bit too crispy but that's my only gripe. Loved the décor and the lights everywhere, my friends who were from out of town loved it as well. The young lad serving us was really quick bringing us our next drinks (forgot his name, maybe Bobby? sorry if that's wrong haha)

Took quite a while for the food to come. For the prices it was dissapointing. Felt like a pre prepped meal warmed up in a poor oven. Basic food at a premium price.😒

My friend and I called here for lunch after visiting The Beatles Story in Albert Dock. What a lovely place. The food was plenty and delicious , the girls that waited on us were so nice and helpful, we had a lovely chat with them and they even played The Beatles music over their system for us . Definitely go here again 🤗

We (13 20somethings) came here for bottomless dinner for my hen do on the 31st August. The food was good and good portions, the drinks came fast and were tasty and we ended up with the whole top floor to ourselves. Special mention to our server Josh who went above and beyond to ensure we had a good time even taking song requests! He made sure our drinks where refilled quickly which can be an issue in these brunches in other places but not here! He was friendly, helpful, and added to the evening without being imposing. He even put up with our attempt at line dancing. Thank you for a fab evening!!

Gorgeous bottomless brunch yesterday. Food delicious and drinks varied. Servers Carolina and Bobby were so attentive and made sure our glasses were always topped up. Would highly recommend!

We went for lunch at PANAM Restaurant & Bar, it wasn't a good experience, despite it being a nice place with polite people serving us, the main thing about a restaurant is that the food wasn't good, with the exception of the garlic bread with mozzarella which really was delicious, the other dishes very bad. The Shrimp Pil Pil was extremely acidic, they exaggerated the amount of tomato sauce, the sirloin steak was tough and the Fish and chip, the fish was soaked in fat, very suggestive of that frying that is done with cold oil, without any crunch. . The place is very beautiful, the Royal Albert Dock, an unmissable tourist spot in Liverpool, the owners should pay more attention to the quality and flavor of the food, it would be an unmissable place. Easy to park in the Royal Albert Dock car parks. $$$

I went to Panam a few days ago for a celebration and a girl called Christina served me. She was wonderful, attentive and professional. We had a brilliant time & will be back. Thankyou Christina

Lovely restaurant on the Albert Docks which is usually quite busy. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Service is good and reasonably quick although this is not a fast food restaurant. I especially recommend the Pork Ribeye with black pudding mash which is delicious.

Don't try the scouse! The service we had was very good. Otherwise the place is overpriced and kind of soulless but you expect that at the Albert Dock and I don't hold it against them. What I cannot forgive them for is the outrageous monstrosity they have the cheek to call scouse. I know there's no official recipe and everyone's mum's scouse is the best but this concoction just takes the mickey! Scouse is meant to be a stew, right? Everyone's mum can agree on that much. Ingredients simmered together for a very long time and ideally eaten the day after it was cooked. This stuff seemed to consist of pre cooked components that only made each other's acquaintance a couple of minutes before when they were doused in thick gravy and served up. But the biggest slap in the face was the potato. I got half a large boiled potato, skin on, plonked in the middle of the shallow bowl. They'd not even bothered to dice it and pretend it had ever been part of a stew. Words can not express how just plain rude that is! Don't get me wrong, lt was perfectly edible and worth a fiver of anyone's money (shame it cost many times more than that) but it was definitely not anything like scouse. Such a shame because PanAm's location in the Albert Dock means this will be the first and (if they have any sense) last time many many visitors to our city taste our iconic scran. The scouse there is nothing short of cultural vandalism.

We stopped for a quick bite to eat on a Friday night. We ordered the Scouse and the streak frites. The steak frites is good value at £14.99 for a portion of fries and a reasonable price of tender beef. The steak and fries were over salted, which spoiled it. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful birthday celebration in this restaurant, and we liked all of our meals (I had vegan burger) and we enjoyed time spent together with family. I would certainly come back. Location is brilliant too!

Food.. not the best. Staff lovely Atmosphere mediocre. Overcharged... didn't realise until I looked at my bank statement... queried... but we all paid separately wanted all 6 receipts!! So unable to rectify! Last drink had zero vodka in. Tried to tell me the lemonade had gone... I am not stupid... I have worked in bars!! Would not return Not worth the money

Went for a bottomless brunch on Saturday with a group of 9. The service was fantastic..we had Chantelle I think her name was. She was so on the ball and kept the drinks flowing. The food was great, there's a main meal meal included in the price. The decor is stunning and we had great service at the bar downstairs too. It's a great place for groups and can be lively so not for those who want a quiet afternoon! Not sure what the dj thing was but there was good music playing. Definitely going back!

Came here for Bottomless Brunch 4pm on a Saturday was excellent value they weren't shy at all with the drinks the service was spot on and the food was actually really nice would recommend the cajun chicken burger but the fish was really nice too. Definitely revisit.

Oh my God.. What a fabulous experience. The food was amazing, and our waitress Megan was the absolute best. So attentive . I will be booking again ASAP thanks to Megan. 🥰🥰 Only downside was we wanted to stay there all night after the bottomless brunch but the bar service was so bad. One barman on and choosing who he served. Waiting 15 mins for a drink- total contrast to the super efficient restaurant staff.

This was my favorite restaurant until Friday the 7th of June, haven't been for a while maybe staff changes but I ordered my favorite pork belly, it's always served on a hot skillet,this time on a small thin cold plate,not good food should never be served on a cold plate,.

Highly recommend here if you are coming for food down the docks in Liverpool. Beautiful food, service was quick and fun by multiple servers, we were placed in a booth, just the two of us and it felt really nice but cool at the same time, the cocktails were stunning and the view across the docks is lovely as the sun starts to set. Their Instagram doesn't let you tag them in anything so if you're looking to share where you are and show off what you're eating you can't, but other than that, great!!

US travelers going through Liverpool. We were hungry for a steak and we weren’t disappointed. Flavorful and tender. The brownie dessert was heavenly.

I was part of a large group celebration and the staff here were very friendly and worked hard to ensure we were all served swiftly and efficiently. We were seated upstairs away from most other diners and this was very considerate, allowing us to have speeches etc without disturbing other diners as well as giving us some space. The food was amazing. I had the seafood hotpot and it was such a big portion I couldn’t finish it. Big bowl of mixed seafood stew (nice gentle bit of heat to it too) with rice and bread. Would come back for that alone.

Lovely restaurant with views over Albert Dock, or loads of space upstairs in cosy corners or at larger tables. Everything was lovely and twinkly at night. Food was fab and staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely go again when I'm in Liverpool.

This is a lovely restaurant, the food is very good. Service is friendly and ok. BIG negative, the NOISE. I go to a restaurant for a quality meal, we got that, but I also want to enjoy the company and conversation. Unfortunately, the music is so LOUD you can’t think and obviously most other diners agree, as they shout above it to compensate making conversation even harder. This is a shame, as otherwise it’s a great place. Without this I would have scored five stars.

The fish and chips were a bit too salty but the prawn linguine was great!

We came here for lunch as a party of 4. The music was so loud, we could barely speak to each other. We ordered a few appetisers, which were nice but shockingly small for the price. We all had scouse for our main, which is traditionally a cheap meal, but the price is understandable because of the location. The scouse was tasty, but the bread it came with really wasn’t, as it was barely even grilled and didn’t taste nice. The service was quite slow, considering that the place wasn’t even that busy and we didn’t appreciate the 10% service charge imposed on the bill. Would probably not come back.

Went for some food on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was brilliant, staff very attentive and friendly. Me and my mum had the pork with black pudding mash, which was very bland, defo needed more mustard sauce as I found it slightly dry. My partner had the prawn tagliatelle, she said it was nice but not much flavour.
