Pampa Kitchen & Grill in Mid Sussex

I had heard mixed reviews so decided to try. It couldn't have been better. Food amazing, staff amazing. Sadly leaving the UK soon but if I could I would eat there every week.

Everything was perfect. Amazing Jamon croquettes and a gorgeous sauce with a prawn starter. Best burger I've had for a long time, perfect fries. My partner had a sirloin that I tasted, it melted in my mouth and the salad was beautiful. I also had a side of Portobello mushrooms, they were to die for. Everything we had, had little something special about it, everything. The staff were warm and genuine. Pampa is going onto our regular visit list, and if you're thinking about a visit, just do it :) Great value, great experience.

I’m always a little skeptical of Steak Restaurants. Often think can be overly expensive, I do buy big steaks for home every now and again from the butchers so there’s always a comparison. But Pampas was really very good. We had a couple of starters which were fantastic. Then had their Parrillada which was a cut of Fillet, Sirloin, Ribeye and Rump. It was all cooked perfectly. My favourite was actually the rump, cheaper cuts tasting good is a sign of a good steak chef. Sauces amazing too, garlic/parsley sauce was great, Blue Cheese and probably best Chimichurri ever had. Good restaurant steak is expensive but this was worth it.

One of our fave restaurants of all time! The best tapas, the best steak and the most lovely service - nothing is ever too much trouble. A family run restaurant that deserves its far reaching, exemplary reputation. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment as it’s extremely popular but if you haven’t booked, it’s always worth a try as they will always try to squeeze you in if they can.

Myself and my wife went for lunch . The menu provides a very good selection of food to choose from , we selected the fixed menu but added a sweet and a bottle of wine, again from a wine list with a good selection, The restaurant definitely lived up to its 5 star reviews in all respects, good service and excellent food. We will be back.

We have had many visits to this new restaurant and have never been disappointed. The front of house staff our excellent (especially Julia) The menu is sensational especially the Argentinian steak. Great wines, they have now added specials to their menu, this week it was turbot. Only trouble is it makes your choice of food harder..... Lovely cosy home feel to the restaurant which has a deck area and small patio. Its a must go to if you are in the area

Another lovely evening at Pampa, this time for my son's birthday. Amazing steaks (made sure to leave room for the lemon meringue pie !) and the usual superb service.

We had a wonderful set menu lunch, cooked to perfection. Great service with homemade food. You can’t ask for any better.

Don’t really know how to start this review but all I can say is it’s one of the best Sunday lunch experience we’ve had in a long time. Food was excellent service was friendly and professional we would recommend it to anyone.

Me and my partner came here for dinner and we got the spinach empanadas, crispy squid, patatas bravas, grillled chicken and chicken croquettes (which were not on the menu but recommended to us by the waitress!). We absolutely loved everything we ordered, it really was outstanding food and for such a great price! The service was excellent, everything arrived quickly and piping hot. Would love to come back here and try more dishes. It definitely exceeded our expectations; would highly recommend this restaurant.

I went to Pampa with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The whole experience was exceptional, from our arrival, the ambience, the waiting staff who were incredibly helpful with dietary requirements and we were made to feel special. The food and drink was absolutely lovely too. We will be back!

I took my family here for Mother's Day and it was a lovely lunch! I had been to this venue meany times over the year's but we had heard good things about Pampa. We were not dissappointed and the food was as good, if not better than a steakhouse in London. The food was all tasty and the staff were very nice. All I woulsd say is that the restaurant being quite small, you can hear every noise! There were a lot of children around so if you're looking for a romantic meal then an evening might be better (although it was Mother's Day!). They could do with some background music too. Would deifnitely visit here again!

Came with a friend for lunch and will definitely return! I had crispy squid which was perfectly cooked, tender and spicy. My friend had the prawns which were also perfect in a lovely sauce with bread to mop it up. We both treated ourselves to the fillet steak which was juicy and tender and very tasty. We had the smallest size but it was just right for our appetite. Lovely glass of Merlot, friendly staff and easy parking. Looking forward to eating here again.

First visit to this fabulous small and intimate restaurant. Food incredible, service excellent and attentive. Saturday night and was full but nothing was rushed - Gambas a La Provenzal and Pollo a La Parilla outstanding dishes from the night !

My business partner, Richard Maxwell-Gumbleton and I visited Pampa Kitchen & Grill two weeks ago. I am writing to recommend them strongly. They are an Argentinian restaurant and specialise in steaks and the Chateaubriand that we both shared was the best I probably ever had, certainly in the last ten years or so. Our experience was not great. The service was slow, everything arrived in dribs and drabs. Two people had gristle in their steak and most of it was luke warm. If you are disabled ask to sit downstairs as the stairs are lethal. Trying ti be high end but really just overpriced steak and chips.

We had a fantastic evening last Friday. The food, the service was amazing, a great selection of wine too. Oh my and the churro’s, were to die for. If we could’ve change anything, it would be to have steak knives, although the steak was cooked to perfection.. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

This is a little gem in Cuckfield. Quaint building. The fillet steak was incredible. As too the tapas. The lemon meringue pie & churros were delicious. A lovely friendly place. A little piece of Argentinian delight! Totally recommended.
