Fuimos un día para desayunar. Pedimos un bocadillo de sausage, que es algo que tomaba cuando vivía en Escocia y no me defraudó. Además pedimos también unos cafés y estaban buenisimos y eran de gran tamaño. El sitio también estaba muy guapo decorado y el chico muy atento. Salimos muy contentos.

Prepare to be overwhelmed with huge portions of tasty food. We shared enormous near sharing plates with fantastic flat breads. Main courses of moussaka and pasticcio were also enough for 2 so we took home delicious doggy bags!

My wife and I popped in with our two young kids whilst passing by, not expecting much, just a quick snack then on our way. Wow, did we pick the right spot. The Arabic coffee was delicious, the kids had banana pancakes which they demolished (usually fussy eaters), my wife had a salmon omelette and I had the star of the show a falafel sandwich which was just about the best thing I’ve ever eaten. This place deserves to be in the top ten lunch spots in Edinburgh. I don’t leave reviews often but this is deserved! Staff were friendly and helpful, service a little slow but that’s because everything was prepared and served fresh. Worth the extra 5 minutes. Ten out of ten

Los pasteles de Mooie Doos mueren, nos encontramos con dochter ons bezocht. De inhoud se había convertido en una vaina para el trabajo. Zeer lekkere tortas en veel variatie. Mijn favorieten waren de theekoekjes se encontró con amandelen. Mijn man zijn favoriet fue warbaat met creme. Ma ch re fille nous a apport e une bo te pleine de gourmandises de Pame Bougatsa. Moi je pr f re les biscuits secs pour le th et mon mari pr f re les cakes avec la cr me pattisi re. Un grand plaisir voir cette grande vari t. Hermosa caja con pasteles que nuestra hija trajo en su viaje a casa. El contenido de la caja fue una verdadera delicia para todos los sentidos: se veía genial, olía muy bien y, sobre todo, el sabor era sublime. ¡La variedad fue notable! Mi favorito: galletas de té con almendras. El favorito de mi esposo: ¡Warbaat con crema pastelera!

Fell upon this place when looking for lunch in Edinburgh. It's great. Freshly cooked and tasty food served by really nice owner. Place is spotlessly clean. We spicy sausage omelette, shatsuka and fresh mint tea.

Popped in for a coffee and cake when my Mam was up visiting Edinburgh. I've never bothered to write a review on Tripadvisor before, but the pastries here were excellent (we went back for seconds!), and the staff were really affable. This will now be my first port of call when I've got friends or family up and need a coffee and a bite to eat.

Lots of delicious freshly prepared food. Some really interesting and tasty Greek and Arabic sweets and drinks, and fantastic value for money. We enjoyed a selection of dips, salads and breads and couldn't have been happier. The chef was also incredibly friendly and helpful, it was just what we wanted.

This is the most amazing cafe from delicious coffee to the best cakes we have ever tasted. Breakfast, lunch and cakes are made fresh and the attention to detail is beyond fantastic. Don’t miss this great cafe. We have made daily trips for their Greek Salad and cakes!
