Paletto Lounge in Corby

What a disaster, coffee cups only about half full, requested hot milk but served cold. Toast arrived luke warm/cold. Bacon sandwich arrived with only 2 small rasers of fatty bacon. We did complaint to waitress but no action or feedback received. We visit two or three times regularly each week and lately the standards have fallen with the serving staff's appearance leaving alot to be desired for a cafe/restaurant with the odd exception, especially the young lady who has been here since it opened. I think this will be our last visit as there is now plenty of competition.

This place is a Gem !! we loved it ! went on a Sunday early evening , walked in, the atmosphere was jolly, great music brilliant lighting and very polite and welcoming staff. Next the menu...there is nothing you could not like on the menu do to its varied selection. Tapas, Burgers and even curry, we were spoilt for choice. Catered for allergens and Vegans also smaller appetites and the deserts were to die for !! . You can order at the bar or via the table order link, was so easy and of course delicious Thankyou Palleto Lounge. We will be back !

Can't rate this place enough. Had loads of meals here and not once have I had any issues. Amazing staff with great atmosphere and the breakfast is bang on

Wife enjoyed her burger. My panini was over-microwaved, meaning the bread was as hard as a rock. Background music was awful. Happy to consider myself in the minority, because the place was really busy. Staff friendly, price point was okay. But, no I won't be rushing back.

£26 for 3 drinks!!! Shocking!!! We where actually stunned by this price and sorry, we won’t be back 😞! I don’t know how you can justify this price

Got to be honest probably my 20th time eating at this chain in Northamptonshire and always been spot on. However, whoever the chefs are today let you guys down. Stone cold mushrooms on both meals. Chips fit for bin also as cooked far too much and muffin hardly see the toaster. Sorry guys I have to be honest....never missed a beat til today....I hope the chefs sort this out after all it is just the basics. I'll try again but if I get the same ill be looking somewhere else to spend my money... such a shame

This was our second visit to Corby and The Paletto Lounge in a little over a month... As I've said on other reviews, I'm quite a fan of the Lounges in general and like the consistent service that they offer. The Paletto Lounge is no exception, service was second to none, the food order came out in good time and we all enjoyed our time here. I would not consider going anywhere else in town for lunch or a cheeky few beers as it offers exactly what I'm looking for when I have some down-time.

I came for lunch with my children aged 26 and 2 of 24. We were told they were short staffed. Not a problem.There was lots of food underneath our table and one of the staff fell with a tray of food after a water spillage had not be cleared up. We placed our order for food and drinks. When our drinks arrived the waitress asked for ID from the two 24 year olds but they did not have their ID with them. She told us they couldn’t have their drinks and asked if they would like soft drinks which we then ordered. They then realised they had their passports on their phones so they showed them to the waitress and She asked someone else if that was ok but was told in quite a rude manner that that wasn’t sufficient, that they needed to see the actual passport. Again we accepted it, fed up but it was more the attitude of the woman. I then asked if we would be refunded for the 2 alcoholic drinks that we weren’t allowed and I was spoken to quite rudely and that they would not be refunding as it’s in the terms and conditions that if you fail to provide ID on request your money will not be refunded. We have been in many times before and never been asked to provide ID and ok if this is a new rule that is being enforced for whatever reason, being spoken to with attitude does not sit well with me and I will not be returning anytime soon!

Its well nice in there, the place is very pretty, the customer service is excellent! there was this nice lady who was a cashier she was super nice!! the food is not too expensive and very tasty and worth it:)) Would visit it again!

A lovely, artsy restaurant in the centre of Corby. Wide ranging menu, including a selection of all-day brunches and seven different types of burger. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options. Staff ask about allergies and dietary requirements before they take your order - a practice which should be adopted everywhere. It has a selection of 'homemade drinks' including Pink Lemonade and Peachy Keen, and mocktails, including Coconut and Pineapple Punch, as well as a full alcohol menu and bar. Food is delicious, music is great, staff are friendly and helpful - what's not to like?

Lovely meal and great value with tapas Tuesady deal. The pulled brisket was fab. Service from the girls was superb. Sinead was lovely and helpful and is an adset to the company. Thanks x

Called in with my favourite girl whilst on our regular Saturday shopping wander. We normally end up at 'spoons for a bar snack and a drink, but decided to try out the Paletto Lounge. So glad we did; much nicer food and only a little bit more expensive. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and were trimmed so there was zero fat, or gristle bits. Perfect.

We called in for lunch after visiting Corby to see the Knife Angel sculpture.i had the Mexican Super Bowl and my wife had Chicken, Bacon & Avocado Salad. Both were delicious and a bit different from run-of-the-mill menu. Service warm and welcoming.

Went for brunch with my ex-girlfriend to see if we could rekindle our physically abusive relationship and we both ordered an "all day breakfast" which came highly recommended by a friend who's actually a head chef in there. Moving on, we ordered two fresh apple juices which were mixed with tequila for no reason by a chap who i can only describe as a flamboyant young man, who seemed more interested in trying to get everyone drunk on a Tuesday afternoon. We let this slide as he was a well mannered, funny young lad, who tried to make our time enjoyable but swiftly after our breakfasts arrived, all seemed well until I bit into my sausage it chipped my tooth and it felt like i was chewing Tyson Fury's fist, my ex girlfriend ordered brown bread because she was on a diet and they gave us chocolate croissants instead and were trying to justify it by pronouncing it in a french accent. (i did think this was funny). The rest of the breakfast can only be described as being made by people who were severely dehydrated and hungover. The portion size was small and the price was expensive (luckily Natwest is across the road). In conclusion the place is great for a laugh and a joke , the staff are friendly and extremely helpful for the right price but I shall not be returning for food.

Visited this restaurant for brunch the other Sunday. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the staff were very nice. The group chose a variety of different dishes and they all enjoyed what the had. My only comment was that I had the breakfast and it was tepid when it arrived and was cold part way through. My daughter, who lives locally and visits regularly, complained and they offered a replacement and when I said no offered a coffee which I had. I appreciate that things go wrong but it was handled nicely so that was fine. Would go again. It is good value for money.

Amazing find! The vegan burger was AMAZING. The best vegan burger I ever had. It tasted extremely meat like so if that isn't your cup of tea then trust me and give it a miss. The chocolate vegan dessert was nice, it was dark chocolate which I don't 100% love (my fault for not reading the menu properly). Was so so filling and a great value at under £15 for 2 very filling dishes and a diet coke. Atmosphere is so chilled and cute, and the staff were both so friendly and sweet and let me chill there and get some work done on my laptop without pressuring me to buy more food/drink. Value for the quality of the food, service and atmosphere is incredible! Thanks so much guys, if I'm ever back in Corby I'll defo come here!

Post shopping lunch, unplanned but managed to get a seat. Service was good. Food portions were very good and well presented. They tasted pretty good as well. I can recommend it for lunch.

Not many restaurants outside of a greasy spoon open early enough to offer a decent breakfast...no idea why as it’s a great venue for morning meetings. Will deffo be back

Have to say this is the best lounge. Have tried others but none are a patch on Paletto. From the food to the staff everything is excellent . And customer service is 2nd to none. To all the staff thank you . You are all amazing .

I was in the area visiting family. Having travelled from London this was a great place to chill with some lovely food and drinks. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable.

So I come here a lot with my husband for the all day breakfast as it’s normally the best in Corby ! Great quality service amazing etc ! Well we’ve been in twice over the last two weeks. There seems to be a new male bar member who is the rudest person ever and no longer allows swaps on breakfast - I usually swap my mushrooms for egg . And the second time we went out food took absolutely ages to arrive - and nothing seemed to be coming out of the kitchen - when it arrived my food order was incorrect I was missing hash browns - my husbands egg was awful - and cold beans - also the portion sizes as of lately seem to have changed from a nice portion of mushrooms to a couple - same with the mini hash brown bites - by this time i couldn’t be bothered to complain as it had taken so long and I could see other customers waiting for there food too - the waitress was lovely and it was not her fault at all (blond girl ) but will definitely be looking for a new breakfast place

My friend & I were looking for someplace different to have something to eat & chose the Paletto Lounge as it had been highly recommended. We were definitely not disappointed, both decided to have the all day breakfast which was excellent, compliments to the chef especially on the Lincolnshire sausages which I believe was a new addition. We were served by Annmarie who couldn’t have been more attentive. We will certainly be going back. Thank you.

My friend and I have often stopped for a coffee in here as they are the nicest ones in Corby. I always like the friendly atmosphere in there and nice staff. We have eaten lunch a few times and it has always been really good. But unfortunately on this occasion it wasn't as good. It was very busy and we placed or order of coffees and I ordered a Halloumi burger my friend ordered a Bacon butty. We waited for ages well over half an hour so decided to ask where our food was, the man apologised for the wait and got us a coffee on the house but our food still did not turn up for another 10mins. When is did arrive It was then cold so my friend did ask for hers to be cooked again. I was expecting a slice of Halloumi cheese in a bun with salad etc but when it arrived it was fingers in breadcrumbs that no way would stay in the bun this was also just luke warm but I did not send mine back. It was a shame but it will not put us off going there again we think of it as a hiccup.

Been here a few times but had a hot chocolate here a few weeks back which was amazing. Food and drinks are more expensive than other places but decor and atmosphere is very good. Come here often and would return again.

Called in for some soup of the day which is served with warm ciabatta bread and it was excellent, the staff as always were welcoming and friendly, definitely worth a visit. Very good Vegan menu.

Walked the dog into Corby and sat outside for a nibble. The staff brought our drinks out to us and said we could bring our dog in if we wanted!...our dog can be as mad as a box of frogs on occasions but actually behaved himself very well...the food was hot well presented and quite quick. The staff were really good even though it was very busy. What gave me a feel good factor was the overall experience there. As a Cafe Bar, it's probably one of the best in Corby. I'd recommend a drop in for a cuppa at the very least...take in the atmosphere and relax.

Tapas were really tasty however bang bang chicken was dry and chicken was overdone and the burger bun was dry and crispy.

The servers are always so friendly and check that we are enjoying our food. Food is delicious. It is a lovely warm and relaxing lounge with great staff who are unobtrusive but with good service.

My friend and I had a lovely meal at paletto last Thursday _ both of us had the chicken, bacon and avocado salad. The meal was so good and flavoursome. Brendan's service was brilliant and his people skills are great. It was nice that he said he'd tell the chef how much we enjoyed the meal. Brendan consistantly strives to look after the diners and he is a gent! Held the door open for us again! Thanks to Brendan and compliments to the chef! Go here!

i probably only visit about every six weeks or so but the service is alwasys attentive - the selection of food available is great - the vegetarian/vegan choices which i opt for are tasty and if there is any problem they fix it immediately

It is part of the Cosy Club / Lounge chain but you have to praise them for what they have done to bring you into this pub/diner. The beer choice is good, the food is good and cheap enough. The new vegan and gluten free menu is appealing and at the Paletto lounge the staff are friendly and helpful. Pop in, any time of day.

This wonderful bar is straight across the road from the cinema and my wife and I pop in here for a drink/meal when we come to the pictures.

Love coming to Paletto for a weekend breakfast. Staff are always friendly and helpful and there is always a great atmosphere. my partner and I are vegan and Paletto has a brilliant menu which accommodates Also, love that we can bring the dog!

Popped in for a spot of lunch never been before and was unsure of were to eat in Corby. Would definitely recommend the service was friendly and efficient. Food lovely, liked that they have free water to help yourself too. It’s was a banging breakfast thank you x

Drove to the lounge for lunch, surprise surprise no vegan soup of the day again but there always seems be the non-vegan option available which is no good to me, once or twice I can understand but several times is just not acceptable, if the lounges across the county “Market Harborough, Kettering, Corby”can’t offer vegan soup then take it off the menu; at least that way everyone knows where they stand, should have went somewhere else or made it myself, the only upside is the staff as always were friendly and helpful.

I eat and drink at the Palletto Lounge every end of the week. I usually go with my mate and it's always a pleasure. The thing that motivates us to go back is mostly the atmosphere which is crucial for a restaurant. The paintings on the walls, the light, the bar, the big windows allowing the visitors to enjoy the town centre's busy life. All of these elements seemed to have been well though out by the owner(s) and the designer(s). The music, which is mostly composed of 60s and 70s songs, works perfectly. It's a great place to go to and enjoy a beer or 2 with your friends. But it's also stupendous for couples. It's romantic and cosy especially when the staff lights a candle on each table at around 5pm. And the staff is always helpful and nice to chat with. The service is good. The food is also good. My mate and I have tried different dishes and all of them looked and tasted nice. My main complaints are small and if adressed they would and could improve this restaurant. The first one is something that may bother only me but it just annoys me to wait 20 or 30 min for the staff to clean my table of any empty plates or glasses. The second is the drinks being a bit overpriced. And the third is mostly related to different dishes. For example, the slice of lemon being dry as hell and too small to be used in my last Salmon Fishcake, the burger patty in the Lounge Burger is way too dry and not very tasty and the dishes would benefit from having larger portions. Again, minor complaints.

Visited paletto with two friends tonight and each of us had a lovely meal. The tin pan chilli beef was lovely and my friend's chicken bacon and avocado salad was excellent. The Tapas were also really tasty. Apart from the good food, Brendan and Charlie provided excellent service and were lovely young people. Brendan even rushed out and held the door open for us when we left. Thanks so much !

The lounge is quirky and lively. It was busy but still found a table right away. Ordered the 'lounge eggs' which is really eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection: still runny in the middle while the whites were completely cooked. I recommend that you add cheese as it gives it a bit extra depth. Coffee was amazing. My wife and I will definitely be coming back

Went to the Paletto on a Saturday lunchtime. Very busy with a mix of folk, including kids. All seem to be having a good time. The place has a busy feel to it and the staff work hard to keep up.

About the only place in Corby worth going to. Staff always attentive, good food, music is better than most places, Coffee very good, bigger cup would be nice.

My mum and I visited the Paletto Lounge after browsing some shops in the town centre. My mum follows a gluten-free diet and was thrilled that she had a menu that she could choose from. We both chose the steak sandwich, hers gluten-free. On the menu it also advised that they offered milk alternatives however when I queried this they had none available. Service was relatively quick and food was good. We noticed that there were a lot of tables that had their plates and dishes sitting around for quite a while. We would visit again.

The best thing about the experience i had was the staff.One other positive they use good quality cutlery and dinner plates. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the rest.

This place offers something a little different to anything else in Corby - from the atmosphere to the food and i love going for these reasons. Overpriced? Yes, perhaps a little but everything is cooked fresh and the meals are not 'ping' meals like some of the cheaper competition. Perhaps they could look at the pricing for their drinks though - definitely overpriced!!!! That said, I am a regular and have not intention of not going back again and again!
