Great pub, friendly staff, loved seeing the animals and the dog, kids loved the animals and playing outside, will go again

I brought some raffle tickets, we won a meal for 2 which was really good as we’ve never been to this pub before! We had a take away Sunday roast on plates! Not in a box! Staff are friendly and welcoming! Locals was starting at us walking in as we was new, which we didn’t like! But I would defo order a Sunday lunch again it was amazing, fresh, and hot! They had a lot of charity and local fundraisers going on which I thought was lovely a proper homely and community support pub. Pool tables also. Thank you.

We were there for a late friends celebration of life and Debbie and Steve and Staff couldn't do enough for us very Helpful and thoughtful

Fab pub and great staff, The party's are great value and very entertaining. The staff are really friendly, and the customers are too. Proper family atmosphere! They serve Sunday dinners, and offer delivery if local. They have a wide range of animals out the back that the kids love, and they have a huge garden too. Definitely recommend this pub!

Debbie, Steve And Debbie's mum Rose do a fantastic job and are always so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble at all for them as their priority is making sure All their customers are happy. I collected a couple of sunday lunches a couple of weeks ago for my mum and she really enjoyed it. Well worth the money. Collecting 2 more tomorrow. They cater for all events and make sure everyone has the perfect time. Karaoke nights are always great. They have a selection of animals, which the children Love. The animals are so well looked after. So much hard work, but they always deliver a great night, great service and lovely Food 😀👍 would recommend for a party event, food or just a great night out.

Debbie Howe is the life and soul of the pub, a huge kind-hearted girl with a huge heart. She works tirelessly supporting the families of Highfield in their domestic situations as well as providing entertainment for the children. Thinking nothing of dressing up as a Marvel Hero and throwing a party and running a petting zoo in the pub garden. Working long hours and giving generously of herself she falls, at the end of the day, exhausted into her bed. We’ve run a few Elvis nights at the pub and she is a natural MC making sure everyone was well looked after and organising a photo call at the end. During Covid Deb ran the pub as a food bank and now it has been designated a community hub. Tonight is Karaoke Night which is always good fun and Sunday dinners are amazing for the money. I give her and her supporting staff 10/10 for all that they do. Sadly I see there are a few that have given negative review - I guess these are people who’s behaviour fell below acceptable standard and were asked to leave. All power to Queen Debbie, Queen of big Hearts on Highfields - long may she reign!!

Lovely community pub located in Stafford. Popped in on a Sunday afternoon and there was a lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff, friendly locals all enjoying the great atmosphere. The Sunday lunches looked & smelt delicious we will definitely have to return for those! We sat outside in the Beer garden which is a fantastic space. A lovely visit to a great community Pub, we will definitely return.

Advertises karaoke and libe music friday and Saturday I have beennuo a few times now and there is never anything non few staff members said because Debbie's isn't working hire people to donit you have a room for music and the pub is dead on a friday and Saturday When younlive in an area with thousands of people it just proves who the problem is need new owners

Ment to be a family community pub, I carnt take my kids there to have a drink as a family like I can any other pub as their dog is out of control he gets to roam around the pub, he runs after the kids and jumps on them, non of the owner are ever around, the outdoor space isn't suitable for kids again being a community family friendly pub there is nothing for children to do except eat sweets which the pick mix bags are good but I won't recommend to take children!

We attended my Granddaughter’s birthday at the Oxleathers today. Debbie, Steve and Rose, made sure the kids had a great afternoon. Their hospitality is first class.

Brilliant pub feels more like home than a pub, ste, rose, Debbie they’ve made it into a wonderful local and the community are greatful for it, you’ve made up some happy drinkers😝

Great local pub Always a friendly atmosphere from landlady debbie and staff garden has an array of animals to go and see for adults and children ..pool jukebox ..kareoke and a nice drink definitely recommen

Great pub, stafford are very polite and friendly, pub has animals in the back garden for the kids to see, the landlady's mum is happy to show kids them and let them stroke the rabbits

Nice local pub. Very friendly. Drop in at least twice a week. Love the animals out back, and Ziggy the dog. One of the few pubs remaining on our side of town.

Absolutely awful staff who made us feel unwelcome. There homophonic attitude really caused distress to my friend.stating that your sort are not welcome here Will not be recommending to anyone anytime soon. This is supposed to be a community pub.

Lovely welcoming community pub. Debbie is great and so are the team. Lots of community and charity work clearly goes on to help the local people. Function room at the back with own bar nice set up. Thanks for a lovely visit be back soon 🙂

An excellent pub that Debbie has really done a great job with. Before she was manager it was on its last legs. A credit to Debbie and Steve
