First time eating in OWT and it won’t be our last. Just ended up here by chance ( because it used to be the Corner Cafe) with a friend. What a fabulous find. Really lovely food and friendly, helpful staff. We had a lovely time. Highly recommended.

Great food and atmosphere loved the mocktails and wine pairing too. We had the smoked Barrata it was gorgeous as was the home made focaccia bread. The mains - we had fried chicken and lamb they were also great and really generous portions. The dessert of cinnamon bread and butter pudding with berries was also delicious .

What a great evening. The margaritas were fantastic. The food was delicious. Staff were lovely. Atmosphere was everything we’d hoped for and more. Couldn’t fault it. This was our first time at Owt and we will definitely be back next time we are in Leeds.

What an amazing meal we had at OWT and an equally gorgeous bottle of rose wine. We shared small plates of vegan food which was delicious. The vibe was chilled and relaxed and the soundtrack playing was right up my street. Wonderful company, fantastic food and wine…only wished I lived locally but I will definitely be back on my next visit to Leeds.

After being turned away, and not that politely elsewhere with a 'can't you see we're full' Owt, in the new location on Burley Rd was a delight. Absolutely lovely food, friendly service and great music too.

We have visited Owt from their early days in Leeds market, then the Corn Exchange & now their fab new place on Burley Road & we love their concept & offering. Very welcoming & friendly staff/owner & fantastic chef in the kitchen. We ate here at their new place last night & think they will (again) be very successful. We chose four sharing plates to leave a little room for dessert. All dishes were so flavoursome & well-cooked. The fried chicken was amazing, served with a ranch dressing. The prawns succulent & tasty - even converted my OH who is not such a seafood lover. We ordered two different desserts to share. Left feeling very happy & knowing we will return soon.

Tapas style plates of very well cooked, good quality/fresh ingredients. Lamb was perfectly cooked, prawns also perfect. I’ll be back. Also chilled out atmosphere.

We have always loved Owt since they were in the Corn Ex and we’re excited to see what they had done with their new restaurant. It’s so lovely inside and I love how they’ve kept it in theme with the previous restaurant. The food was amazing as always and the gluten free fried chicken noodles were so good I could’ve eaten it again. My friends dishes all tasted so good too, everyone polished their plates. Love the Owt team and the new gaff is so lovely! Well done x

We both got the grilled cheese sando and chips with some green sauce. It was amazing would definitely recommend. Loved the green sauce. Probably could have got by with a portion of chips between us as I was stuffed after.

We had the summer small plates menu. All of the food was excellent, with the tuna and the butterbeans really standing out. Owt also has a wonderful atmosphere.

I’ve been to Owt a few times and always been impressed, but the most recent visit blew me away in terms of food quality. I had the burrata with tomato salad and bread and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since! Simple food but done absolutely impeccably. This is becoming one of my favourite lunch spots in Leeds and is well worth a visit.

My friend and I both had Fried chicken noodle salad for lunch.It was presented well & it was delicious.We were so impressed..My friend had a French toast desert with fresh strawberries and cream,which she said was fantastic.The waitress was so pleasant and helpful.

I’ve been meaning to do a review of Owt for ages! My partner and I have been quite a few times over the years, starting when it based in Kirkgate market. We love it, the food is always bang on, fresh and tasty. The French co-owner (I forget your name, I’m sorry!) married to the chef is just lovely, and makes us feel like friends when we visit. I love the way the chef incorporates salsa verde on every menu change, he’s nailed his recipe and it lifts everything up to the next level. My personal favourite is the bhaji ‘burger’ on sour dough, it blows me away how good that is! The last time we were there, the owners were mulling over moving away from leeds to do rising costs etc, but I really hope they stay!if you’re reading this and you haven’t been yet, go now before it’s too late!

Let me tell you somat, I love Owt. Been a few times and always superb food, excellent wine and stupendous hospitality. Great value too

Always the best food, vibes, service and time at Owt. My sister loved her fried tofu baguette and my GF fried chicken ranch salad was incredible. Finally got to try the chicken and it was the best fried chicken in leeds hands down. They have plenty of veggie and vegan options too on their seasonal menus. Always recommend no matter which menu though. Even their drinks selection is top tier. Had some of their amazing wine previously but this time just had a cloudy apple juice which was so nice. Not your averages juices and smoothies! They’re always so fab and lovely, giving the best service too. Obviously the interior is stunning and it’s such a lovely spot to eat even on a boiling summers day! Support your local independents!

I literally cannot fault Owt at all, they are my favourite place to eat in Leeds! The food is delicious and there’s always tons of options for all dietary requirements. The staff are all so friendly and considerate as well as going above and beyond! Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Came here for a meal with family, they were very accommodating for a walk in of 6 on a Sunday, the food was delicious although small menu everyone was happy. However, the let down for us was the waitress was quite rude, I don’t know if she was having a bad day. She did not ask for any drinks orders and then missed 2 peoples drinks orders by walking away. She also was quite short with us throughout the meal and rolled her eyes at us! Unfortunately this was a let down and would probably reconsider next time as didn’t feel particularly welcome after this.

I love, love, love it here. The dishes are delicious and so thoughtfully put together. James and kitchen team are geniuses. Esther and co are so lovely and friendly. Oh and the wine is very, very good from Esther’s dad’s vineyard. Menu is ever changing but you’ll always find their fabulous fried chicken featured somewhere! Highly recommend

I've been dining at Owt for a couple of years, and it never fails to render me comatose. Which perhaps says something about my lack of impulse control, but damn, I wouldn't be absolutely gorging myself at this place if the food wasn't so exceptional. Last night they accommodated myself and 10 friends for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed wines from co-owner Esther's own family vineyard and then proceeded to bring shame to the human race with our level of gluttony. The fried chicken, mash, and gravy was a crowd pleaser. The arrancine was divine. And my choice of the special: a spicy noodle and mushroom soup, reached Mariana Trench like depths of flavour. Also we had these sweet dill pickles and some more fried chicken on the side and that stuff was dope too. Hey I haven't even said anything about the dessert : it was like some kind of berry and white chocolate bread & butter pudding with vanilla ice cream. It's probably what pushed me over the edge into uncomfortably full levels of self-indulgence, but it was totally delicious and I regret nothing. Consistently amazed at how Owt seems to still be a sort of hidden gem, but I can't see it lasting long because this scran is GOURMET.

The menu is simple and straight forward which allows the chef to focus on making everything perfect. We had the chicken salad, croque monsieur and chips. All absolutely amazing! Reasonably priced too, Can't wait to go back.
