Outlane Spice in Kirklees

Onion bhajis greasy but once drained on kitchen roll they were tasty but a tad spicy. Ordered a large chicken korma £9! No chicken!!!! If there was it must have been minced chicken, and it was green, didn’t taste too bad but was nothing like they used to do! Is it under different owners? it was ages ago I last ordered from here and now the last! It looked like newborn baby shit! It used to be coconut flavoured and look more brown than green! The best part of the meal was the pashwari nan. Would definitely not recommend.

the best curry I've had for a long time, prawn dopiaza...wow! the garlic bread was spot on! biryiani was gorgeous but lacking a bit of salt, easily sorted! first time ordering over my usual curry spot but It's defo my go to place now absoloutley 100%

I ordered a meal deal for 2 they told it would 15 minutes to prepare on arrival I collected my food and payed and got home thinking I would have a good night enjoying my meal . On opening my food I had ordered 2 curries onion bhajis and rice plus naans . I was very dissatisfied with curries as they were revolting as I ate the curry I couldn’t eat anymore the chicken and meat was undercooked and pakoras were full of grease like they had been drenched in oil . Worst experience me and my freind had . Wouldn’t recommend this place even if it was thelast stop .

When I went to collect my food I could see a tub of cheese with the lid next to it which looked like it had some bits in I didn't think anything of it . When I opened my cheesy chips when I got home it appeared that there where specles of mould all over the cheese Absolutely disgusting 🤮 I will never return Staff where also rude and the general hygiene in the shop looked pretty grim

Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here at all!!! Took over an hour to be delivered and the delivery guy started swinging his bag at my dog as she had wandered out of the door, the food wasn’t even correct and when i rung up to complain they wouldn’t do anything about as apparently i live ‘too far’ not happy at all with the food and the customer service! The delivery driver also said he forgot to bring change

Been ordering from here over 20 years and it's still the place to go for a great curry night. Absolutely amazing as always. The chicken specials are to die for. All nans and onion bajis made fresh, beautiful. Delivered hot. A little bit more money than you'd pay for somewhere else but well worth it.

Food absolutely delicious tonight! Fresh, hot and tasty. Crisp chicken and mushroom pakoras and tender mixed meat tikka. Chicken bhuna was spot on as well. Highly recommend these guys who cook a great curry.

We all really enjoyed our food - Onion bhajis to start - lovely and fresh, Mixed chicken and keema Rogan Josh (Really tasty with fresh coriander) with chapattis, Special Mix kebab in a naan. We have ordered from here many times and would highly recommend.

I haven’t ordered from here for ages and now remember why. They always say your order will take say 90 mins and deliver in 20 so you can leave them a great review for delivery time. The food was abysmal, honestly so bad, the donner is over cooked, dry, microwaved, hard, literally inedible. The bhajis were old, frozen and reheated. The tikka let’s face it, it’s not tikka is it, it’s boiled chicken in a super red tasteless sauce. The peri wrap was again boiled chicken with some sauce thrown on the wrap. Naan frozen. Most of this food went in the bin. Really disappointing.

Food was just really greasy. Kebab meat was dry and it very nice. First and last time ordering from here. On the plus side, they found the house without an issue and food was on time. Sorry.

Onion hbaji were good, chicken pakoras were average we had a garlic naan too but found this to be undercooked and very doughy. We had two differrnt curriy dishes and found them to be just okay but would not have again and the egg fried fice was very poor it was just one big clump of moist rice not light and fluffy as rice should be.Will not be going back.

I left instructions for delivery which they followed to letter and the food was tasty and plentiful. Thank you

I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Unfortunately, I ordered and paid for, my pizza with extra Salami (+£0.70) but the pizza did not have any Salami on it. Put it down to human error but annoying and distracted from my overall enjoyment and not the best service.

Skanked by around £10 and rang to complain but told you just need to add £1 to everything..check ur bill.

There is nothing exceptional about this place but never had a bad meal from them. Poor parking. I keep going back so they must be doing something right.

I'm sorry but I won't be ordering from here again, the food was absolutely tasteless and the kebab meat was like leather, getting a phone call to come and collect it from the end of my drive was the final straw , I have agoraphobia and lucky my husband was home thst night.

I was able to pay online as I didn't have cash at home. I was charged 50 pence for the service above normal takeaway charge. I find this acceptable as it was very convenient. I just hope the delivery person gets the bulk of the delivery charge because everyone needs a proper working wage or pay level. I will recommend this service because it is useful and creates work.

Food was OK but not what I ordered .

Food was tastless. It also looked like cat food. I had 2 mouthfuls and threw up. It definitely no where near worth 8.50. To just throw it in the bin. The total of this order was 13.50. Which I also feel is very expensive. As the shop is only 2 miles from my house.

Enjoy the food from here, but last night we had over cooked Baji. & a dry cold pizza base instead of a naan….. really? So disappointed. .

absolutely appalled says it closed at 11 but closed at half 10 i walked up with my dear children from London they are now in a deep crying state which i can’t get them out of the owner of outlane spice better come to my bloody house and apologise with 5 cheeseburgers for each of my little moo pies

Easy ordering on line, massive choice and extremely efficient fast friendly service. That's as far as it goes, unfortunately on first try the food was mediocre. Possibly better to concentrate on less choice, better taste - a great disapointment

The only thing that tasted somewhat nice was the fried chicken. The pizza was cold and tasted bland, even after adding extra toppings. And my partners Donner meat was slimy and greasy and tasted like fat Will not be ordering again.

Avoid this place, Ordered at 6.10 finally delivered at 8.40 completely cold was told to put in microwave by driver sent it back completely unacceptable. No call from takeaway to apologise. Will not use again.

It was marked as delivered but didn’t get here until 9:20. The food was cold and soggy. Waste of money and certainly not happy.

Hi we are not happy at all with our food, the chips and pizza where soggy and everything was freezing cold, we have used outlane spice on a few occasions now and it’s always been cold! I would like a full refund

Delivery said 45 mins as it was only a kebab and chips. After 1.5 hrs I ordered again and then they delivered both orders which i didnt want

Onion bahjis were lovely. Chicken tikka makhani was vile, chicken was over cooked and the sauce was extremely sweet I only managed a mouthful before I threw it in the bin. Won’t be ordering again, very disappointed

Currys are ok,but just had the kebab burger nothing to right home about chips need salt on them and burger needs a sauce, no salad to be seen anywhere over all very dry 2 out of 10

Can't recommend them enough, ordered here for years and always brilliant quality curries. They do the best bahjis ever and that's even comparing them with high end restaurants! If you like spice then you'll love this place. Some takeaways take shortcuts when making different curries but not this place, if it's a different curry then it tastes like it. I've been to places where they use the same sauce but add an extra chilli or something, that's not how they're supposed to be made, nothing like how they make them here. They also do a really good chicken tikka pizza and their Veggie / Vegan curries are pretty good too.

Had order from here before g was really nice today the nan wasn't cooked fully the donner wasn't great chips was nice but delivery was a joke got phone call said was outside I said and buzz him in he said no come down so went down he wasn't there then this car drove up & a bloke handed me a bag I wasn't impressed at all when I order food I don't want to be stood in road outside waiting for a car to turn up

Poppadums were awful. Curries were a bit tasteless. No plain rice on offer.

****AVOID AT ALL COST WE JUST LEARNT!!!**** Authentic Indian food who supplies microwavable poppadoms!! Meat tastes frowsey....take note it does not say lamb it says meat...cat??? dog??? grim!!! We boxed it back up and took it back demanding a refund (paid by cash) £40.00 this a weekly shop for us...told to contact just eat??? so thank you for spoiling our treat night!

Absolutely class takeaway food is way above how the shop looks

Food delivered quick and was piping hot. However, the quality was dismal. The keema biriyani was just edible, the donner meat was very greasy and fatty, the burger apparently was OK according to my son. The chicken biriyani that I had was very bland, very watery, the chicken didn't even taste like chicken - even my husband couldn't eat it and he eats everything!

Curry was lovely and delivered very promptly. Mushroom pakoras were not warm though and came as 6 rather than 8!. Apart from that it was very nice and not fatty . Would recommend.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala. The curry was very tasteless. Couldn't taste any spices at all.
