Ousia in Camden

I had made a reservation whilst my friend and I were visiting London. Did this through the automatic booking on the restaurant's website. Arrived in time for the booking to find the restaurant closed. Made enquiries with a neighbouring restaurant who said they'd been closed for a couple of months. Very disappointed to put it mildly!!

Further to another review, my wife and I also had a booking on Friday and arrived to find the restaurant closed. We hear a lot about restaurants complaining about no-shows, but some don't exactly help themselves!

Had a booking and just arrived to find it's closed. That's twice we've been let down. First time they had a fire in the kitchen which they informed us about. This time no communication and have ruined our night.

Seriously disappointed. Made a reservation in advance and was asked to confirm my booking the day before, which i did. We arrived at the restaurant only to find it was completely shut, with no communication from the restaurant. Won't be wasting my time coming back here.

I have never tasted soft cardboard but I think with some seasoning and marinade it could be palatable. The chicken from this kitchen had neither. I swallowed a few pieces so as not to embarrass the pleasant service. A one-off? - no. It's a basic fact that one stomach cannot digest a large bowl of **over salted** fried halloumi: 3 or 4 pieces with a lettuce leaf and mayo maybe, but a dozen?

We were welcomed without a booking. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was wonderful, fresh, tasty and very well presented.

Llegamos a última hora y nos recibieron con una sonrisa. Muy amables para explicarnos todos los platos. A niños y a mayores nos encantó lo que probamos. Si tenemos oportunidad, Volveremos!

Fuimos con los niños para q probaran nuevos tipos de cocina y nos encanto . Muy buen servicio y bien recomendado. Platos muy autenticos

Pre theatre walk and found this little gem food was lovely. More pitta needed as a portion. The lamb was perfectly cooked and the chips were good. All in all a great restaurant.

A delicious lunch before our theatre trip. Spanakopita to die for. Next time we are off to the West End will be heading back here. Elegant and not expensive either.

My husband and I were here on 15th June and it was fab. All tapas were lovely and the staff were excellent. Dimitris was very kind and had a lovely chat with him. If you are anywhere near this lovely Greek Tapas restaurant you must visit !!!! We hope to see you open up in Glasgow, Cheers Billy and Teresa

We had lunch at Ousia on a Saturday. From the second we arrived Dmitry gave us great service and advised on both drinks and food. All dishes ordered tasted fresh and authentic and were delicious. We couldn’t pick our favourite dish as all were great. Wish we had Ousia on our doorstep at home - we would be there all the time.

This restaurant is so good. Dimitri was very kind and professional. The food is made fresh. Everything I ate was simply amazing. I will definitely go back next time I'm in London.

I recently visited with a large group of people, having pre-booked ahead just in case they weren't able to accommodate us. The member of the Ousia team that we spoke with were very well informed of the menu, how much to order as a sharer for 12 people and made sure we didn't order too much, which is certainly not the service you get at many restaurants! The food and drinks were amazing and I would definitely recommend giving this restaurant a visit. For all the food and drink we ordered was exceptional value.

Stumbled across this restaurant and decided to choose it in preference to all the other places in the street. Great choice, authentic Greek food, served quickly. Great tastes and flavours. Staff very helpful with descriptions. Very clean in all areas. Good prices
