Ordered a small plate of chicken pieces with aoli and salad. Chicken was frozen shit that you can buy from Iceland. Salad was 1 piece of lettuce that went soggy from all the oil in the chicken. Aoli had yellow jelly on the top as if it had been left out in its ramekin for hours before serving. I wish I’d gone to KFC At 1pm they still had breakfast menus on the table and not lunch menus. Tables were dirty and unwashed. They weren’t even busy to warrant it being so unclean. Not somewhere ill bother to try again

A pleasant find on my travels. No comment on food, but I'm looking forward to trying it at a later date. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Menu looks varied and reasonable. Serving from breakfast time till about 8pm for food. Bar open till midnight at the weekend

Recently sat in & had stone baked pizza, which had previously been recommended. Pizza was huge & absolutely delicious!! Would highly recommend Ottos. You can see the staff are working so hard & were very attentive & the owner/manager was so lovely, nothing too much trouble. She even very kindly borrowed us her outdoor Stanchions & Ropes for my daughter’s Prom - picture attached. So very grateful, keep up the good work guys xxx 💪

Wanted breakfast after a run. Choices were quite limited. They had run out of bread on a Saturday morning! It wasn’t busy. I ordered a chocolate croissant and got a small pain au chocolat! They forgot my milk for my tea, i had to ask twice. Not impressed really

We stumbled across this little beauty of a place. Our lunch was delicious. Fresh, and great portion size. Plenty of choice almost hard too choose what to have. Staff really friendly and attentive. We will be back for sure.

It’s a real shame that some of the staff have no concept of customer service. Its a great location and pleasant bar, but they really do lack customer focus. A simple example was this evening. I asked for a pint of lager and asked for a packet of peanuts the female server was welded to the till and would not move along the bar, to see if she had any peanuts available, (before taking payment) so she simply responded by saying “you need to go and look in the bowl on the end of the bar and see for yourself” I enquired “you want me to go a check and not you” her response was “yes I would”. I asked her not to bother with the peanuts or with the pint and that I would take my custom to a venue who wanted to serve their customers. It’s a very minor matter or event, but a taste of their overall attitude to customers, perhaps they don’t need to work at customer service or moreover care about it.

Poached eggs on granary toast with mushrooms became hard boiled eggs on white toast with no mushrooms. Oh and they were cold. No apology when raised or offer to resolve. Decent pot of tea.

Taken to an Indian restaurant when meeting family for the evening, great selection on the menu and they tailored our meals to our requirements, what more could you ask for. Food was excellent and all washed down with a pint of Cobra. We were also able to taste the wine before selecting which one we preferred.

Serving food when it had a 'massive Rat infestation. Has since had the vermin problem sorted, but will not be returning as an active risk to my health has been demonstrated.

Great food fast service really fresh pie was lovely kebab and kids meals. Only thing I'd say is more range of none fizzy drinks, J20 wpuld have been great as my daughter doesn't drink fizzy and that's her treat drink.

Turned up at 11.20 and was told breakfast service finished at 11.45 which we expected. Went to order and they had closed breakfast orders . Very poor service.

Hot day - but we used the hospitality ( and Wi-Fi) to catch up with work whilst munching poached eggs on toast and drinking black coffee. Staff were welcoming & friendly, food was good too

Busy but great food and drink friendly staff

Lovely food n staff nice. Was busy n had to wait some time to be served. Food was lovely, my only gripe was feeling rushed to leave, after plates removed staff member proceded to wipe down table whilst we were sat there, I felt this was a request to leave.

Called late morning for coffee and a snack. Coffee was very good as were the teacakes. Sadly our visit(our first as we do not live locally) was spoilt by the attitude and rudeness of a member of staff. I am told by my friends (regulars) that this person is always the same - very unpleasant. Will be reluctant to return.

As far as wine bars go this sits in the top 10%, nice environment, good outdoor with heating, great selection of beers and wine, great bar staff. The food here is always good and suits the young and old

This was an unexpected delight. The menu has enough variety to please the more adventurous, whilst also catering for those preferring to keep it simple. There were four of us dining and we each ordered different meals, but were served together, no delays, and all enjoyed what we had chosen. We have already decided we will return and try something new each visit. The atmosphere was good, it was very busy, but we didn't feel pressured by staff to hurry and had a very relaxing time. It was great.

We were really surprised, I thought it would be nice, but the foot way fantastic. Great service and very friendly. We had a sandwich and a coffee, and will deffo be going back soon....

Great find in Sprotbrough. Friendly staff and lovely food. Sat outside in the dappled sunshine of a sunny Wednesday morning. Wonderful start to the day. Edit, second visit here, and was disappointed that the kitchen wouldn't swap the fries that were included with my sandwich, for onion rings. I did offer to pay a little extra, but I was told it would be £3.50, the full price of a portion of onion rings. The food was still very nice, though.

Limited table tidying caused little issues, otherwise worth the visit if local.

Great selection of beer overall Nice venue, but kids running around at 9 pm dirty tables and busy staff didn't provided o this visit the best experience. I will visit again in the summer ☀️

Wow. Fantastic food and they made every effort to get us a table for food. 3 of us had the chicken kebab which was excellent, and pizza. Definitely won't leave it so long before we return. Highly recommended Merry Christmas Thank you

The staff were unfriendly verging on rude to me and my friends as we had to complain about our cakes as they cream based and they tasted like they were off, we each tried each others and we agreed they were not fresh so we asked for a replacement and it was like it was too much effort and that we were wrong for saying something, no smiles, no apology and the replacements were plonked on our table with no words exchanged. It’s a shame that looks were deceiving and we will definitely never revisit here again.

We met for brunch and the breakfasts looked good, two of us ordered waffles which seemed home made but were on the small side (about the size of half a slice of bread) and the fruit compote was about 15 blueberries scattered on top, not worth £3.50 - £4.50. I don’t think I will visit again sadly. The staff were friendly but clearly did not feel able to deal with a complaint. It was not up to standard.

Just popped in for a drink ,saw the beautiful food other customers were eating so next time we'll definitely pop in for a meal aswell

Waitresses and manager couldn’t care less about serving, they sit you down and that’s it everything seems to much to ask if I owned this establishment I’d certainly be looking for new workers… foods average don’t bother

Sensational food. Don't recommend the meatballs, pizzas or chips but everything else was a excellent!! I mean, seriously, mind-bendingly beautiful food!!

My partner and I had a pizza each , big mistake, one pizza is more than enough for two people. Staff were lovely coffee superb.. Doggy box provided for the two halfs of leftover pizza. The quality of the food coffee and the staff made all the difference. This was the first of many visits to come. FABULOUS.

The atmosphere is very nice - lots of customers and adequate seating. It's a bit of a pain having to queue at the bar to place your order and pay in advance of your meal - separate trips for mains, desserts and coffee. Waiter/waitress service would be preferable and the opportunity to pay after you've completed your meal. One particular member of staff (a mature lady with long blond/greyish hair) is very rude and abrupt. If she knows you - you're okay, but otherwise gives the impression that she doesn't give a stuff! One young man serving at the bar had no idea what an Americano coffee was - "is that the one that comes in the tiny cup?". Good food - but all rather disorganised and hectic.

Once I had a dream. I was in a place where I was king, surrounded by friends and my heart felt complete. I'd advise that you book a booth. And keep a keen eye on the bloke making the espresso martini... genuine service though. Chips are massive. Should call them wedges. Lovely management. I got a fiver for this review

If you're looking for oil-ridden greasy almost uneddible food then look no further! My burger was dripping with oil and blood (yep as it arrived rare), wedges were soaked through with oil, unsure if they had been heated in cold oil or what the issue was here but they were inedible and disgusting, burger bun was stale, salad was ok. Onions on the burger were greasy and slimy. The cost of this monstrousity was £12!!!!! Staff were ok but couldn't manage to raise a smile, obviously unhappy to be working bank holiday. Shame as good service can save most bad experiences. All in all terrible so will never come back and advise everyone I know never to eat here. Shockingly poor.

The woman that served us seemed a bit stuck up. Not very welcome or helpful. You need to use a chisel for the toast..and the butter came out like oil. Apart from that breakfast was nice

Every time someone left the bathroom the bar was filled with the smell of urine. Our glasses smelt like dirty dishwashers, was offered a replacement glass to pour my drink into (not offered a replacement drink) Staff looked like they'd rather be anywhere than at work. Very expensive. Won't visit again.

We booked and visited on Sunday 6th June, the food is incredibly good, the service however is another matter all together. They just simply do not have enough staff, one of the two ladies was just rude and dismissive making us feel like we weren’t wanted there. It took 10 minutes for our drinks and 35 minutes for our breakfasts to arrive after little or no contact from any staff, just stern looks. The drinks finished I asked for more as the food arrived but never received them nor could I summon the staff to get them. Lots of running around by them but appeared to achieve little or nothing. We could not get salt or pepper for our food. The food however was incredibly good, the only reason for gaining any stars, too marks to the chef, the quality of the ingredients and the cooking couldn’t be better. The rest was so disorganised, dirty, bulbs out, leaking toilet on the floor in the gents and the phone ringing but never answered. The whole place looked untidy, uncared for, notices hanging off the windows dirty mirrors and disinterested staff. Would only go back for the food but please do something about the cleanliness and organisation and perhaps some happy staff!

Pleasant place. Went for breakfast on Sunday with family including 2 grandchildren. Staff good with children, gave them pens and extra coffee biscuits.to stop them stealing the grown ups'. Nice selection of food

Nice place with friendly service. You have to write down your details even if you check in with the NHS app. Could do with a menu. Free wifi. there are heaters at some of the tables. expensive. i paid 9.80 for 2 latte's and a pint of Amstel

I know things are stressful at this moment in time with changed circumstances but the Service is getting worse to absolutely shocking to being rude even, past 3 times been it's from certain individual! However the younger girls are always pleasant & polite! This is all you ask for especially when u are nothing but polite & give no reason to be treated & talked to so rudely. I am not 1 to complain but felt I need to review honestly. It does take it away from lovely place & excellent food served! Hopefully you will address staff members personal service skills & hopefully will see a difference.
