Oslo in Hackney

I enjoyed pleasant visit for bariokee after it turned sour. My friends and I were having a good time enjoying the facilities before I was forced to leave the venue with my friends for no apparent reason. Two bouncers and the manager escorted me and my 10 mates out with our drinks saying it was ‘To keep me safe?’ We are questioning the reasons of venue??!! It was quite unnecessary and rude. The manager needs to sort his priorities out. He saw 4 flat espresso martinis being served earlier in the night then showed him someone how to poor a pint. Watch out for an EGG!!

I was here to support my friend playing tonight and I really enjoyed the night but a waiter and a bouncer that works there called me insolent just before I left the venue outside.

Very nice establishment.Husband and I had the roast lamb with accompaniments.Everything and more on the plate,roast potatoes,Yorkshire pudding cabbage,turnip,and more.Enjoyed every bit washed down with some wine. Service was good,will be back.

Dropped in her yesterday afternoon enticed by the seemingly good value 50% February deal. Place was almost empty but I didn't let that put me off. The Oslo Burger I ordered was tasteless. My guess is that the meat (which was a decent size) was just fried with no salt/ pepper/onions/anything and then just put into a well garnished bun. But all the mayo, tomatoes and cheese can never make up for a badly cooked burger. Shame that.

Went to toilets before ordering food. The stench was appalling. If this is the standard of the toilets I would not take a chance on the food, so I left.

Modern ambience in a former railways station. Lenu is quite British. I had a very good shepperd s pie and a pint of cider. Seems to be also a great palce at night!

Best burger in memory and such a nice place, lovely staff so friendly and a great selection of beers!!!

Great cocktails and food!!!!! Would recommend anyone looking for a chill pub/restaurant with great service and great food. Lovely time, and lovely staff.

The new head chef has clearly spend lots of time thinking about the new menu and it is delicious. The veg burger was tasty and the chips were just the right balance of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Well worth a visit and the service was welcoming and very efficient with the right balance of attendance.

The food arrived at a decent time and was of a very high quality! It was a great experience overall and will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Fui a Oslo hoy para almorzar y fue fantástico, me recomendaron un montón de platos nuevos para el nuevo año. Fui por el cangrejo de Portland y una hamburguesa de Oslo. Muy buena relación calidad-precio, ya que la hamburguesa estaba a mitad de precio para el almuerzo (5!!!!!).El ambiente era bueno y mi servidor Michaela era encantadora. Realmente amigable y servicial.

OMG... the burgers here are Delicious and the desserts are to die for. I loved the chicken burger especially., it was very filling and the chunky chips were pipping hot

Great restaurant for vegan found at very seasonable prices. The service was fantastic and the waitress was super friendly.. The portions were very big and the presentation was great. Cant wait to come again

The food at Oslo was incredible along with the drinks range. The whole menu was pretty inexpensive and the service was excellent. The whole gothic atmosphere was lovely and the venue itself was great. Greeted at the door by David who informed us about the cocktails on offer. Will come back again soon

Parecía encantador dentro de una decoración peculiar y luces de techo inusuales con tela drapeada en la parte superior.Teníamos un poco de prisa ya que solo tenía una hora.No habíamos reservado muchas mesas gratis el sábado por la noche, nos sentaron la mesa de cuatro adultos.Pedimos rápidamente menú parecía agradable.Tuve el plato de bacalao con puré de patatas y ensalada de pepino recomiendan delicioso.Mis amigos tenían hamburguesas de Oslo que venían con papas fritas triples cocinadas que sabía delicioso grande y grueso.El camarero era genial, incluso nos compró salsa de tomate y mayonesa sin preguntar. También rellenamos nuestra agua sobre la mesa con frecuencia.Si buscas una buena cena o algunas bebidas, recomendaría Oslo, volvería si en la zona.

Atmosphere was really good, nice selection of drinks which were pretty expensive and nice food. Very central location

Admittedly we were here for lunch on a Sunday, when the place was pretty empty, but all the staff we encountered were absolutely great. They were all very attentive, without intruding, friendly and helpful. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. We started off sitting outside, but it was really noisy from the road and not a particularly nice place to sit. Indoors was much better.

Friendly staff who let us poach a reserved table for our group, much appreciated! We've used this as a meet up point several times and Oslo never disappoints. Fun decor and very nice outdoor seating area.

I've come to London on a quick overnight to spend some time with my son who is staying in Hackney. He doesn't know the area too well, so we popped in on the off chance.

Nice staff. Decent, flavoursome food that arrived promptly. Good alue for money. Nice decor and good ambience.

This place is a big room with a long bar. It has some basic pub meals and some Oslo specialties. We ate here three times on our month excursion in London. This is right by the Hackney Central rail station.

Mesas muy juntas para que una silla de ruedas entre / salga sin molestar a otras mesas. WC deshabilitado es demasiado pequeño para usar fácilmente. Puerta muy rígida y casi imposible de abrir una vez dentro. Es poco probable que regrese ya que el WC es demasiado difícil.

El personal de allí es súper grosero, no me han servido bebidas porque el camarero me estaba evitando en el bar cuando le hice saber a él y a ella. . . . (sí, porque todo el personal es terriblemente grosero) Me han dicho que me vaya o me amenace para que me echen del club si no quería esperar a que me sirvieran las bebidas. El primer cantinero dijo que esperar a ser servido después de que todos no fueran una iniciativa; la segunda dama estaba sirviendo 6 bebidas en lugar de 5 (la cantidad de personas que éramos) cuando la detuve para evitar el desperdicio; Le pregunté por qué me estaba sirviendo 6 bebidas, se desmayó y me dijo "¿qué pasa si no te sirvo las bebidas? ! Stopped here for a quick lunch before a wedding. The waitress was very helpful and seated 16 of us, youngest 2 years old. Really delicious, fresh food, a little different to the norm. Reasonably priced

Waited over twenty mins for a table then the waitress sat us at a table and the manager told her to shift us as he had given that to one of his regulars. Food once sat the table was ok

Went to this place two nights (Saturday and Sunday) in a row. Was told that this was a place for all between 25-45. Well on Saturday it was completely crowded but no one above 30. On Sunday there were more staff than guests. Recommend to go next door to Hackney Central and take the train to main London.

At the beginning it was bit chaotic as we were offered only party menu, but once we assured them we didn’t want our food to be brought for all of us at the same time we got normal menus (with more vegetarian options) and everything was great and we really enjoyed our time there.

This place says its open til 4am but unless you get there before 2.30am you will be refused entry. It doesnt say that anywhere on your website though or on google. Its great craic paying for a cab there to be told you cant get in because its past 2.30am but ye are open til 4? Joke of a place.

Me and my dad often stay in Hackney when we come up to london to see gigs. We always have a drink and something to eat in the Oslo and It's always lovely. The food is brilliant and well worth the money. I always have a burger and the chicken wings and my god the chicken wings are so tender they just fall off the bone I can't wait until we go again!

Nice decoration, plenty food and drink options, perfect location. Would definitely come back again at nights.

Great food. The eggs florentine were cooked to perfection. Chips were perfect too. Service good - welcoming and efficient. It was a beautiful sunny day so sitting in the dark industrial interior jarred a bit

We ate dinner at Oslo as we had tickets for a gig later that evening. We hadn't booked but they found us a table. The staff were friendly and attentive, even though the restaurant was really busy. Our waiter was helpful and checked whether the food I wanted was gluten free and offered an alternative to the items that had gluten in them. The service was slower than we've had at other restaurants, however with a small view into the kitchen we could see how busy staff were, and when our food came it was hot and utterly delicious! I had the portobello mushroom burger (without a roll) and hand cut chips which were lovely and crispy. Hubby had the Oslo burger and enjoyed it immensely! The bar/restaurant has a lovely buzz which wasn't too loud to hold a conversation. We also had dessert - I had the chocolate mousse (which had a lovely chocolate flavour and a smooth texture) hubby had the banoffee slider. The restaurant also give a discount to people attending gigs in the venue. We will definitely eat here again when we are in the area - next time we'll make sure we book a table in advance!

Right next to Hackney Central station. Really lively bar space - you will struggle to get a table unless you book. Greta upstairs gig space - holds about 200 people. Good sound system. Loved it.

I came here to go to a gig upstairs but as having a gig ticket entitles the holder to a discount from the menu in the restaurant downstairs, I thought I would eat first. The staff are friendly and the service was decent considering they were quite busy. Feeling lazy I ordered the Oslo Burger, which comes with bacon and all sorts of other stuff. The waitress asked me if I wanted it well done and, remembering a number of dry, crumbly burgers I had had in the past, I decided to ask for it to be done "medium".

I liked it, nice atmosphere, good menu and not overwhelming friendly crew but ok (a bit hit-and-miss). Great place to work on the move.

We ordered 3 burgers. Food arrived very quickly, but.... all buns were cold and meat only warm. Restaurant was quiet, pleanty of staff but... after we finished no one clear our plates, we tried to get staff attention to ask for the bill around 15 minutes only payment was collected quick. Staff definitely need more training and smile a little bit. I think if you put service charge on the bill, you need to provide better service....

the bouncer on the door greeted us with a friendly grunt,once inside youll see this is a big space, big high cielings, long bar, good selection of beers and spirits.we found a seat neat the serving hatch and our order was taken by very polite, and helpful waitress.the steaks are very nice and on the vine tomatoes a nice touch. the chips coated in some kind of chip spice, usually only found in Hull. very nice indeed.The music wasnt too loud,theres a good vibe in the place and people were queing to get in. quite a young crowd, but not a problem for old rockers.

That's a double burger. I was super hungry, but after the burger there was no way I could finish the fries.

As the rest of Hackney was closing up on a cold Sunday afternoon, we called in here for a late lunch. The venue is fantastic, with high vaulted ceilings and the choice of bar seating or tables. There is an open plan kitchen so you can see the food being prepared. The staff are clearly enjoying themselves, and that become infectious. Started with a lovely Poppy Mojito, as it was Remembrance Sunday, and the wines to follow were also food. The roast beef dinners were tasty, generous and served on time. They accommodated the request to double up the lamb chops starter to a main meal, and the fish and chips were also exceptional. We were tempted to a dessert because they looked different. We ordered the peanut butter and raspberry cheesecake. We all tasted it. One said it tasted like baked beans, another thought it tasted like marmite, and I thought it tasted like Lee and Perrins. The waiter saw that something was wrong, and he admitted he had never tasted the cheesecake. When he tried it, there was no problem with a refund. I applaud the desire to try new things, but they should be taste tested first!

Great place to go for a few drinks. Staff are friendly and attentive. Only let down is the food menu which is pretty much full of fried food without a great deal of variety. I had a fish finger sandwich, which basically looked like their ‘fish n’ chips’ option sandwiched in bread! Very greasy, bad tasting oil. Would recommend they consider some fresher options!

Fuimos a Oslo para comer el domingo con un gran grupo de amigos. Tuvimos un tiempo increíble! ! Me encantó la decoración muy chula, techos altos estilo industrial, pero aún así era acogedor. Tuve la carne asada y mi marido tenía el pescado y las patatas fritas fueron tanto excelentes, grandes porciones muy sabroso! Las bebidas también estaban muy bien. Tuvimos el Oslo mayor era precioso, el tinto de la casa, lo cual es muy bonito, la increíble relación calidad-precio, y que son de expreso de caramelo martinis preciosa! ! !

Personnel nice and friendly. Clean spaces, nice design and the food.. we both had some burger and I have to say that burger was the best one I personally ever had in London..! Although consider that everything is seasoned, marinated and quite spicy.

In the area for work. Headed out from hotel and stumbled across this place. Really nice place, great decor and fab atmosphere. Staff were lovely, service was excellent and my burger was phenomenal.

Went in for a drink. Nice place but bar service was poor. After waiting long enough to be served while the bar staff were chatting, they then served someone who had literally just walked over. So we walked out.

I met a friend who was staying in the area, for a drink at Oslo on Sunday evening. The place is easy to find right by Hackney Central station and the drinks are competitively priced for London. The Oslo lager is really good and at just under £4 a pint, great value. We didn't eat but the smells from the kitchen and the food on tables will definately temp me to come back and try this place again when I am in the area.

Bellissimo posto ricavato da una parte della vicinissima stazione del quartiere popolare di hackney. Ad un passo dalla overground. Un ambiente giovane e accogliente. Il cibo buonissimo fatto con cura e servito con professionalità e simpatia da Miki. È stato il nostro primo pranzo londinese e ci sentiamo di consigliarlo anche per la scelta di birre e per la spesa per niente eccessiva. Da provare!

The atmosphere and decor are what grabs you as you sit waiting for you food. It is family friendly but more geared for the evening bar scene. The food was wonderful!! I wish we'd been in London longer, I'd definitely have gone to eat here again.

We came to Oslo to see a concert (Leah McFall) and booked a table for a pre-concert dinner. Loved the old industrial feel of the place and was not disappointed by the size of the portions. Ordered a starter and main and couldn't finish them. The food was a little greasy but on the whole quite nice. There was a good selection for both omnivore and veggie. We both had burgers and as stated a bit greasy but still very tasty. The star of the show was the fresh mojito that we had...not sure that's a great endorsement for an eatery. Would eat there again though as I have no bad memories of the night..

I've dinner there with a colleague. We ordered chicken and steak, the food is quite good. If you are not a French fries lover, you better tell the waiter when order food as it came with a big bowl of it.... we have wasted a lot : P

My friend and I ate here before a gig on Friday night. I ordered a cocktail which took a long time to arrive. When it did it was the wrong one! We ordered a salad to share. It was described as a bulgar salad with avocado. It was a pathetic attempt at a bulgar wheat salad. The amount of avocado was almost nonexistent and the whole thing totally lacked flavour. For £8.50 it was very poor! Lots of other customers had burgers... which seemed to be popular. My frustration is- don't offer a salad for the veggies if you're not going to make a decent effort at it!!

Have had drinks in Oslo a couple of times yet this is the first time I've eaten here and I'll be coming back. The staff were friendly & helpful and the food was packed with flavour and good portions. I ordered Eggs Royal with extra spinach which was forgotten about and then brought out with an apology from the manager. As stated before, I would come back for lunch yet not sure about dinner, as once that place gets packed, it's not so easy to hear conversation.

Just in case anyone might be confused the last thing that I think any visitor to this establishment should expect is a Norwegian experience. It is a bar/restaurant/club in Hackney that is literally a stones throw from Hackney Central Station so was very easy to find on a cold damp night which was of some comfort. Our party were there for a music event that was to start at 7.00 pm and we had booked a table for 6.00 pm.It was pleasantly busy and buzzing in the bar but our table was ready right on time and although none of us was in the mood to be that adventurous with our choice of food the burgers and fries we all ordered arrived quickly and were well prepared and very enjoyable. The service was efficient and friendly and we all were pleased with this meal.The other facilities were well organised. The music venue is totally reliant upon the performers for atmosphere as it is a featureless dark room but the band we saw were very good and the audience were up for a good night. At the end of the show the bar was still packed and everyone looked happy. It was a good evening all round.

Easy location to find; its next to Hackney Central Station. There is a buzz about this place, they do great pub food. Better still it is a music venue too (standing only). Anyway we enjoyed our time there

Our family group of 6 booked a table for Sunday lunch. First impressions were very good, we were seated immediately at our reserved table and the spacious bar area had a suitably relaxed Sunday lunchtime atmosphere with the music selection very much kept in the background. Service was excellent throughout and although the selection of roasts was just beef, chicken or a nut roast, the quality of the meat dishes was very good indeed. Our meal of 6 roasts plus 5 coffees, a bottle of Shiraz and one dessert (a passable Tiramisu) came to £136 excluding service (unusually a service charge was not added automatically, which ). Good points:+ Attractive space with a nice daytime atmosphere+ Excellent service throughout+ Great Sunday roasts, generous portions and delicious, really nicely cooked with a very tasty gravy+ Sensibly priced winesNot so good points:- Nothing much, maybe a few more dessert options would be welcome

One of the best places to go for a lunch or for night out. Located just off the Hackney Central station. 2 floors with great music. Always full of people what only confirm my review!

Vagavamo nel freddo gelido di una sera di gennaio per Hackney in cerca di un posto dove mangiare e ci siamo imbattuti per puro caso nell'Oslo, un locale a mezza via fra un pub e un ristorante , che serve una variante gourmet dei soliti piatti da bistrot. Servizio gentile e attento e piatti abbondanti. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di salse con pane pitta (houmous, baba ganoush, harissa, formaggio halloumi, peperoni arrosto, avocad) ottimo, poi un hamburger con patate dolci fritte (si può scegliere fra quelle e le normali), insalata con salmone affumicato e patate novelle. Tutto cucinato espresso e molto buono. Il prezzo è medio, ma considerando i prezzi londinesi e la qualità complessiva un ottima soluzione.

My husband and I popped in to Oslo after watching the Panto at the Hackney Empire. It's conveniently located and although we had to wait to be seated, it wasn't too busy and we didn't have to wait too long.My husband had a salmon salad which he enjoyed. I had the Oslo burger, which I also enjoyed. There was nothing bad about either dish or our experience but I have given it a 3 out of 5 because it wasn't particularly remarkable in any way. I was a little disappointed that the menu isn't more Norwegian.The interior is pretty nice to hang out in and the staff were all very friendly.

Took my friends here for a birthday event and had such a good time. They had awesome DJs on both floors, the food was great and the venue staff were really helpful.Highly recommended!

Firstly, to eat this is a great little cheap eat. Won't blow your world but it's fairly tasty - had the burger so can't really complain! Secondly, the magic comes at night. This place turns in to a bar / late night club. It must be the most middleclass, polite club I have ever been to! Which, is great - I haven't been in years to a bar / club but this place really has changed my mind and I love going. It's relaxed, the doormen our polite and courteous and there is never any trouble (that I have seen) and it's an all round fun night out. 100% recommend, well done to those who put this place together!

Oslo is a bar, restaurant and venue in the heart of Hackney Central. We turned up on a busy Saturday night not really expecting to get a table. The staff were extremely friendly and within 10 minutes we were sat down.There's a decent selection of Norwegian classics from sausage to meatballs, salads and sandwiches. I played it safe with the Oslo Burger (£12) which was an absolute treat and as good as you'll find anywhere else. If you're chasing a hipster-free vibe in Hackney I would probably suggest avoiding this place, but if you can brush past the trendy beards then I'm sure you'll enjoy it. An extra mark for such attentive, friendly service on what was a very busy Saturday night. 3.7/5.0

The food here was absolutely amazing, so delicious! The staff were very friendly and the chefs were smiley .. It made for a great atmosphere. Well priced, will definitely return.

A nice spot located right outside Hackney Central station offering burgers, salads and beers. Meals can be consumed there or take out, till late. We tried the Oslo and Athens (V) burgers and salmon, avocado and potatoes salad. Beef and bacon on Oslo burger were crispy and juicy, and goat's cheese on the Athens was really tasty. The salmon salad was a plate of many different elements put together, though well prepared and not mixing ingredients up.We chose to take out our dinner which was ready in less than 15 minutes from order time. Prices are mid range and there is an outdoor seating area.

Due to delayed trains it was about 9.30pm on a Friday when we decided to try this place out. It had been recommended to us so decided to give it a try. Manged to get the last available table. I shared the meat platter with added sweet potato fries and that was just the right amount of food. The meats were tender and the fries really good. Platter was £18 and fries £4. Wine not bad for £6.50 either. The other members of the group went for the sliders and oslo burger and enjoyed them. Very nice and would return if in the hackney area.

My girlfriend and I came in for drinks on a week night. Good atmosphere, there was live music and the bar served us straight away. Nice spot in Hackney.

Ho cenato insieme ad amici provato gli hamburger della casa, squisito e ricchi di sapori, presentato su tagliere nero. Ho ordinato un mojito, lo devo ammettere è stato il migliore che ho assaggiato in assoluto, ottimo bilanciamento di sapori, materie prime utilizzate fresche e di qualità. FATECI UN SALTO!

Been there a number of times. Nice location, the pub/club is located right outside Hackney Central. The place itself is a bit dull but the outdoor seating area is lovely.Decent food and a good cocktail menu. Mojito was prepared fresh and tasted great However, the service was really poor and needed improvement. It took us ages to get our drinks and it was not even that busy! The music they played on the nights when I visited was rather annoying and was not my cup of tea. I shall probably give it another try sometime soon as it is always different bands and artists. Although I did not enjoy their music It was a nice experience and I do not regret it.

We had only had a drink in here before as it's close to Hackney Empire but later show on Saturday ('Soul' BTW, superb life story of Marvin Gaye, not just a collection of songs to make a story.).We had sardines to start and then both had fish of the day. Absolutely amazing, sea bass just cooked to perfection, wonderfully done variety of veg, Nice glass of pinot and one of good range of beers. Good VFM for London for the quality, £15 each for fish dish of the day and £6 for the starter.We will certainly be back.Almost forgot, top class service....

I went with a friend to Oslo to see Squeeze play a charity gig. We ate first and the food was excellent. I had a ribeye steak with sweet potato fries and a glass of Nero d'Avola. I can't fault anything. The steak was cooked to perfection. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. As a gig venue, I loved it. Small, intimate, clean and we were served quickly at the bar!

This was my second visit to the Oslo Bar and I have to say I'm impressed. The butterfly chicken I had was cooked to perfection and was one of the most enjoyable meals I've ever had at a restaurant and even though it's very busy the staff are friendly and take time to talk to you. Look forward to my next visit.

We dropped by one Sunday and had two roast dinners. Very generous portions all the food appeared prepared from fresh with some unusual veg like cooked beetroot. Good choice of wines.The decor is fantastic. Kind of industrial but with lots of attention to detail for instance, folding bar stools and lots of very dim lighting all around the venue.

We decided to eat before a gig at the same venue. The menu was a great variety of well prepare pub grub - lots of well thought through burgers, salads & some great starters. I'd recommended the trio of sliders if you can't make up your mind & sweet potato fries of course!

Popped into this place en route to London Fields Brewery Tour.Ideal meet point as right under the station.I had the Oslo burger which was very tasty. Weather good so I sat and watched the world go by up front. Washed the food down with a pint of the Crate IPA.The restaurant area inside was busy with what looked like a private party. Popular spot it seems.

my choice - steak sandwich and a salted caramel martini... i despise fast food regarding burgers, chips and deep fried food and this sort of culture in general so i wasn't expecting much from a sandwich with a steak as it's more sociably functional place rather than a gastronomy paradise as it feels there though a description was marvellous - rocket, vasabi mayo, steak, tomatoes and hard cheese.with a slight terror to get a thick piece of meat in a more thicker, dry, hard bread i got a nicely cooked, cut, juicy and full of flavours meat with fresh rocket and tastes of colourful play happening inside of the sandwich itself. the bread was perfect in proportion to the filling and cooked leaving it crunchy but not hard, all together juicy in bites but not soggy... did not expect that from a sandwich and as well very much cause of the general ruling ''pub culture'' that most of the times gives me creeps - sry to sound pretentious BUT the place has functions with various areas to give you a freedom to locate yourself according to your needs or mood - more sociable or private- nearly a ''reading corner'', with or without kids AND the menu though as if limited but gives you quite an exquisite ''pub snacking'' choice if you wish to call it that way and drinks are basic choice cocktails with more straight ones on the side. all together - the place is up to its point successfully scoring customers who come to enjoy the place, food, drinks, social side of life keeping away or down the nagging ones just cause Oslo is and can be sure of what they are doing there - place is cool but classy, food in limited choice but made with class, drinks are basic but made with touch of style and it's clean and very much made for ppl who are pretty much very sober and enjoy civilized meal or night out ... and not just making money from pints flowing for cattle as it often happens.BTW - the martini was a pleasure to have - velvety taste; smooth mix and strong thin foam floating on top of the drink as it happens when you get the right amount of ice in the drink not making it too watery. visiting not in a rush hour - 5PM+ on Tuesday my visit there was a very positive one, will go back for tiramisu and would advise, suggest others to visit Oslo. for THAT sandwich i would pay more, in THAT place, with THOSE pple there doing what are doing to claim overall - it's under priced but still has class and good effort invested. you just cannot add tip on a card as it's made impossible to overcharge you more than your bill (drunken ppl - favour to you i guess) ... sooo embrace yourselves with physical money - annoying ... ANYWHERE !

Usefully located just a stone's throw from Hackney Central. We needed to eat quickly on Friday at 8pm prior to seeing a band at Bohemia, so we popped inside. We found the interior attractive and welcoming and were offered a table straight away. Menu modern but hearty with good options for non-meat eaters. Service was fast and we were allowed to taste a wine before choosing. We were initially almost put off by the drinkers outside, but so glad that we decided to go in, as the ambience was so nice inside.

I went in couple of times to use the restrooms cause it is right off the train station and twice i used it without eating there.....the staff was friendly to direct me without telling me that you have to be a customer! I am surprise because in U.S.....most places will not allow you to use the restrooms unless you are a customer. So next day I ended up eating here and food was delicious and simple. It is a cool spot to hangout to chill and no rush. Definitely hanging out here again when i come back.

Beautiful food and beautiful surroundings. Could do with being a little bit bigger as it gets quote crowded at peak times.

Good place for quick burger and drinks. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Been couple times and will be back.

So tasty. Just wanted more staff are a bit rushed. Our waitress said we had to like Oslo on face book to get their wifi. This is not true

Leuke plek om wat te drinken. Heb hier niet gegeten. Boven ruime zitmogelijkheden, leuke muziek, leuke atmosfeer.

Very trendy, but very friendly vibes, this place has one of the best burgers I have had anywhere in the world. It was excellent. Staff are very friendly, and it's a great place for a date. I haven't been to the "nightclub" bit though. Great bar as well.

I've often passed this rushing to or from Hackney Central Station right next door, and thought it looked a cool hangout. A friend and I went in tonight for a late dinner, and were captivated by the atmosphere - with an interesting arty clientele. Service was efficient and friendly. Food and drink could not be faulted. I had one of the best steaks of recent times, tender, perfectly cooked, with a great piquant sauce, good dressed salad and fries. My companion had the Saor Sardines and pronounced them delicious. The house wine is excellent. What's not to like?

Only went to see a gig in the upstairs room which wa a great small venue. The bar and restaurant downstairs was spacious and looked like a great place to have a drink and something to eat. Lots of people about even on a Tuesday evening in February. Trendy looking place full of hipsters.

My first experience of Oslo was attending a gig and I was really impressed. I've been back for drinks and it's pretty great. It's always busy with a cool crowd of people and the food looked delicious. The bar itself is really nice, tastefully decorated and arranged; bar staff polite and friendly.
