Osiria in Shropshire

Good food and good service. A great set meal, well presented and with a doggy bag when we couldn't manage it all. A 10% mil discount was also very welcome.

We have moved to the area recently and have been trying to find a quality Chinese restaurant. After trying options on Bridgnorth and Telford we came across Osiria and it is far and away the best we have tried. Food is great, service is very pleasant. On par or better than some of the Chinese restaurants we used to visit in Birmingham. Highly reccomended

Had a really great meal last night, 6 of us, set meal, so we could try the different dishes. We couldn't fault one dish it was all excellent. Definitely going back.

Great food. Lots to choose from. Starter platter and crispy duck was really nice and portions of mains were good too. The restaurant was also very clean. Will definitely be going again!

We love the food from here, I always have Thai green monkfish curry and it’s so flavoursome. Usually have to wait an hour for collection so bare that in mind but it is definitely worth the wait.

Lovely fresh vegetables, fresh noodles and rice. Tasty chicken and beef. Best Chinese we've ever had.

I am very fussy with food, but this Chinese is amazing! Chicken chow mein was melt-in-the-mouth, egg fried rice was cooked perfect, sweet and sour was on point... Service was excellent, price is great... Will deffo be back!!

We had a takeaway last Saturday, Duck with ginger & pineapple - plenty of lean chunks of duck, not a scrap of fat, melted in the mouth. Chicken chow mien, loads of chicken, really tasty. This was our first visit, will be back again & will tell all our friends.

We'd given up on finding well-made Chinese other than by travelling to Birmingham's China Quarter. We've been to Osiria 7 times now, and the chefs are getting better each time. No longer a 70 mile round trip to eat well. Our friends say the same. Bob & Paul.

It was a takeaway meal,advertised as House special crispy or soft noodle with assorted meats and vegetables. It comprised two prawns,one piece of pork and three small slices of beef, lots of vegetables,and more noodles than we could eat.at £7.50 very disappointing, unlikely to go again although we live in the village

Thoroughly enjoyed this meal, the restaurant was cheerful, friendly, clean, and inviting. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, hot, well presented, tasty with a wide range of flavours and choice. We all loved the Honey Coated Chilli and Salt Chicken, a new flavour for the whole group and would thoroughly recommend. They were happy to cater for the vegetarian diners in our group by leaving the meat out of the Singapore rice noodles. We will definitely be back for more. The toilets were clean, airy, and light, obviously another bonus. Go on treat yourselves to a good night out we give the Osiria the Thumbs Up.

So me and my friends called in advance for a takeaway, To start with we had a call back to confirm something on the order that the waiter must have misheard (I think the call back was from the owner) thinking of course it would be ready then for when we got there.. although we turned up and it turns out they had given our order to someone else.. this isn’t exactly the bad part as it happens and I’m not going to yell about a simple mistake, the bad part was that the girl that Im going to say was one of the waitresses was stood in front of us with the door to the kitchen open whilst she debated with the chef about the order, only to then say to us someone has “taken” our order, when in fact you gave away our order. But then she proceeded to try and pass the blame to the waiter that was also stood there. Apparently the customer that had our order was known so she started frantically flicking through the diary to find these peoples number to call them to bring our order back... which I don’t know if she expected us to then take the order that had already been out to another house and then returned? Because obviously we were not going to do that. Anyway then who I assume was the owner came out who straight away was on the ball and clearly annoyed at her staff for the muck up. She then sorted it out instantly and just said to us she is sorry and she will make it fresh and it would only be ten minutes. When she went back in the kitchen to sort out everything the female waitress then thought it was acceptable to retreat to the corner so she wasn’t heard by her boss, but still only a foot away from me and my friends, and she was laughing about the mix up and still trying to pin it on the waiter... I can assure you it’s not funny and it’s actually really unprofessional to laugh about it in-front of the customers.. I was expecting a discount at least or maybe a free side to say sorry but we didn’t get anything. BUT after this happening and the lack of professionalism from this waitress, the food was amazing! Can really tell the food is fresh and well cooked, not your typical greasy Chinese! I had the satay chicken skewers and a chow mien and it was the best i have had in ages! So apologies to the owners (I think the owners are the ones who cook the food) for this seemingly bad review, I’m aware that the restaurant is new and the waitress may be learning, but she most definitely needs some more training in customer service and how to just act professional in front of customers. But as I said before and just to make it clear that the food was ACE, and I will go back again purely based on how good the food is and the lady that sorted it all for us!

I ordered food for take away. The service was good enough, and quick. The food was so tasteless, slimy processed chicken, watery sauce. No love or culinary expertise had gone into it. I had duck filled sprig rolls and no duck was evident in side either by sight or taste. Awful.

Have now been to Osiria three times, and have had the soft shell crabs every time - they are SO delicious! I'd never had them before, but here they are beautifully fresh and crisp with a lovely hit of garlic, chili and salt. Have also sampled the barbecued pork and roast pork char sui - very nice indeed. Service is very pleasant too, but it's relaxed and you shouldn't be in a rush to enjoy this place - so nice to see it back in action, and I think it was just what Albrighton needed.

The best Chinese takeaway food I’ve eaten. Will be going into restaurant soon to eat in and looking forward to it.
