I'm a regular at this coffee shop, and they make some of the very best hot chocolates in the area. Both Zoé and Cas make wonderful drinks, and are so friendly, I always feel very welcome 😊

Friendly staff and excellent service

This is a proper coffee place, offers few different kinds of coffee beans to choose from. I've tried batch brew and an oat latte: both tasted great! Vegan danishes were delicious too.

Caspian = Coffee Wizard ☕🧙‍♂️ If caffeine had a spirit guide, it would be Caspian. This barista doesn’t just make drinks, she crafts tiny miracles in a cup. Friendly, fast, and somehow always knows what I need before I do. 10/10 would trust them with my morning and my secrets.

Absolutely love this place! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere and the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee. The baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I ordered a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin — both were perfect. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and expertly crafted, and the muffin tasted homemade and fresh. The seating area is comfortable with plenty of natural light, making it a great spot to work, read, or catch up with friends. They also have free Wi-Fi and lots of outlets, which is a huge plus. You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into every detail here. Can’t wait to come back — this might just be my new go-to coffee spot!

Went to the Origin inside the library. The coffee is of the top quality all coffee roasters have. The person making the coffee however is a hero, Caspian (!) dealt with tenths of people with amazing efficiency, a smile and the great coffee everyone is here for!

Good coffee, friendly staff, cookies very good. Quite busy, but it's on Euston Rd so that's only to be expected.

The company's policies are remarkably restrictive and seem designed to disadvantage customers. Even if you accumulate a significant number of points, you are limited to redeeming only one £10 voucher at a time, regardless of your total points balance, and you must spend a minimum of £25 to qualify for free delivery. Additionally, their gift cards are restricted to online use only, with no option for in-store redemption. I have decided to discontinue all future subscriptions and patronage.

Haven’t been here for years after moving out of London. Same lovely coffee that worth a detour from Kings Cross. Nice little cup of cortado with fresh fruity notes. (Interesting to see the cortado and flat white st the same price :3)

Really nice location right outside the British Library! I'm an Origin coffee subscriber and love their beans...but make your own pour over at home as it's £6 in the cafe! The flat white I got in the cafe was disappointing compared to their bean quality - very acidic. Pastry (pecan sticky buns) was quite good. Small interior with bar seating inside and a few chairs outside.

Warmly recommend this cozy spot! I indulged in a velvety Oat milk Latte made with Resolute beans - rich, smooth, nutty. Paired it with a moist Lemon Poppy Seed cake. Absolutely perfect for a chilly day. Highly recommend!

V expensive - £3.50 for some hot water and a tea bag is the most I’ve ever paid!

Good coffee, service is not always nice though. Small flies observed on brownies on many occasions - hence the low score. One of the few Origin outlets that does not actively promote or ask customers for loyalty card which is strange given the brand’s efforts.

Cannot stress on how amazing the coffee is. I had the best mocha of my London life here!

I ordered a piccolo and the woman said sure. The barista served me a cortado. I said that I ordered a piccolo. He arrogantly explained that it's the same thing. It is not. A piccolo latte is called such because like a latte it's a 1:4 ratio of milk to espresso. Therefore it should be a single shot with 3 oz of milk. A cortado is a 1:1 ratio, equal parts espresso to milk. If you want to take an order for one drink and serve me another and then tell me I'm wrong then at least know what you're talking about when you give such rude responses. I even said, "Thank you. That was lovely" as I returned my cups, an interaction that was returned with annoyed silence. It's not that the coffee was wrong. It was still well made even if it wasn't what I ordered. It's that the barista was rude. Plain and simple.

This Origin Coffee is located at the British Library. There are a few street facing seats available, otherwise be ready for take-away orders if full up during busy times of the day. Had a pretty good double espresso here recently, cookie enjoyed with my coffee was indulgent, moist and strongly flavoured. Topped with a bit of salt, this was a good complement to the espresso. Would order the same combination again.

One of the best coffee i had during this trip in England. We ordered cold brew, flat white, and long black for my mom. The coffee Is wonderful. We also shared one almond croissant. It tastes perfect.

This is a very convenient spot situated right next to the British Library and if you’re in need of Wifi but the library hasn’t opened yet, then this place is your lifesaver. I came here once previously however I was very much appalled by the size of the lattes, both hot and iced. The initial jaw drop shock I had when I received my iced latte before was evident. It delivers a strong and rich coffee taste, which is good but the size is so small. For £3.90, this is preposterous. Small cafe with window seating and some outdoor seating. Better off just going to other coffee shops in the area

Ordered a cold brew coffee and it was about a 3rd of the size of a normal coffee cup. Even for London this is ridiculous. To top this the flavour of the coffee was very poor

This is a nice cafe located right after getting off the bus stop. I had a flat white and a mini brownie, both were very delicious! It is also a place I would like to visit when I am on a business trip.

The coffee had good flavor but the matcha was mid. I would say it’s not worth the hype. The service was very short and to the point. So very no nonsense. Pastries looked good but didn’t get a chance to try. I would’ve loved for it to just be a little more worth the money.

Quite noisy for where it is. Facing toward the road so if you were to look for a quiet setting. This place doesn't really offer it. But coffee is tasty. Very good mix of the beanz

Not the highest standards of execution, but a pleasant coffee stop in a unique location. Questionable choice of cups and vessels used for service. A long black served in a cup without a handle that is so thin a ceramic that you cannot collect the drink and transport it to your seat without scalding, and no saucer provided to limit this risk. Why not use cups made for purpose. On this issue at least it's a regrettable case of style over substance.

It's one of the best coffees. I usually get Oat Flatwhite. However, their batch brews are delicious, too. The app, point rewards, and online shopping have their pros, too! :)

This is a small coffee shop right in front of the British Library. The coffee is really fresh, strong and good, like true Barista coffee. There are a few bar style seats inside and also two tables outside. They didn’t have soya milk in terms of non dairy, instead they just have oat or almond neither of which I like, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Overall a nice small coffee shop. It is also right near the train station.

Some spare time before a train at Kings Cross. Quality coffee presented nicely. Price was fine. Why have a coffee on the platform in a paper cup without seating? Recommended.
