Oriental Kitchen in Blaby

Used to be excellent last twice i visited, food poor quality, tastless , chips over cooked , curry rather dry and sticky, rice also sticky. Certainly poor quality. Will look for another. Chinese food takeaway

Well what can I say I always used this Chinese but they have been taken over and no longer take card for deliveries. The food is not at all nice now in fact quite inedible. The rice can be very soggy and extremely salty. The noodles are the same. Bring back the old people who were lovely, polite and the food was great. I do not recommend the service or the food will not be using them again 🤮🤮

Such a generous amount of good quality food, it was worth the wait.

Went in the other week and the guy kept answering the phone even though I was stood waiting. Then 2 other people came in and he served them ..eventually I said "HELLO" I am here you know and finally he served me.no apologies nothing and food was very average . Wouldn't go again

I have been going for years but to night the meal was really bad beef curry didn't taste right it was really bad I will not go there no more

Nearly a hr wait and arrived cold

After using this Chinese for several years, more recently my experience has been anything but pleasant. Over the past few weeks, the food is awful, it’s either undercooked or feels as though it’s been cooked 3 times over, rubbery and tough. Meat dishes contain very little sauce and some parts are just not edible. I believe it’s been taken over by new owners, who now won’t take card payments for deliveries anymore, it needs to be cash and when the younger driver delivers he never has any change ready to give. Bring back the old owners. Credit where credit is due, the receptionist and older driver are, and always have been pleasant, professional and approachable. They’re a credit to the business, it’s just unfortunate that the food doesn’t meet the usual standards anymore. I sadly no longer recommend this place.

Most disgusting Chinese iv ever eaten soggy spring rolls and my chow main was spaghetti and chewy and the pork was pure fat never again!

Order from here all the time, I get the szechuan chicken with extra sauce, it’s soo good!

Great place for food and at reasonable prices , I have been using this place for over 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else .

Told me it would take 2 hours to deliver because there busy thats fair enough I rang in 2 hours time and they forgot to make it and wanted me to wait an extra hour 🤣 not good at all

Not a bad little Chinese foods good and service is OK. Definitely go again.

I am going to be ordering from here on a regular basis, the food is phenomenal, delivery was exactly as they said, I highly recommend this place, it's well worth the few pence extra for their food.

I’ve been ordering from here the last 5/6 times now and I’ve gotta say the food has been lovely. I’ve just had the nicest Salt & Chilli ribs I’ve had in a long time too. Polite service and fast delivery…I won’t be going anywhere else. Thank you👍🏻

Very very poor quality meat at this takeaway and i also think some meals come to them pre packed and they just heat them up . Had 2 meals of the same thing at 2 different takeaways and they were exactly the same..

Just ordered kung pao chicken from here and have no idea what they think that is but what I got was definitely not it.

I actually have to travel 60 miles just for this food! Better than any Chinese food in my home town, very well done!

A really great Chinese takeaway. The food is always very fresh tasting, not like a lot of takeaways where its thick and heavy. Very polite staff, and always on time with orders. Best Chinese takeaway in the whetstone Blaby, and surrounding areas.

Very poor chefs steaky, no taste and the jipper was like water . i dragon in future in knighton.

Meat has either been in the freezer too long and / or is incredibly poor quality. Beef tasted metallic. Chicken was rubbery and chewey. Pork was fatty. King Prawns were good thankfully. Pretty disgusting. Starters were fine and chips were good. Won't order from here again tho as the mains were terrible. Complete waste of money.

No local competition. They take advantage of this.

Very quick delivery Please don’t waste your money the food was terrible I’m not a person who ever writes reviews but I feel that it’s important when the food was that bad maybe it’s a one off but I doubt it as everything I ordered was well below par.

Don't waste your money, just picked up a takeaway, the hot and sour and the chicken noddle soups were watery and tasteless. The curry was very powdery and the other meals just so bland. The worst Chinese ever.
