TOP Chinese this place! This was a random find on Uber Eats and I had never been before, but Ill be going back. Food was really fresh, sauces were amazing packed with flavour! We had the Chicken in blackbean sauce, Crispy Duck, Shredded chilli and garlic beef. All of them were 10/10! We will be going back :)

Amazing food, really clean, freshand well done dishes. We ordered the king prawn fried rice, prawn toast & a tofu dish. The meat isn't Halal but some great seafood & vegetarian options on offer here. A friendly bunch of guys too & an open clean kitchen, really blown away at how well the food is cooked here. The man I spoke to was polite and helpful when I asked lots of questions and changed my mind on what I wanted, fantastic service. The food was lovely, tasty and there was plenty of it. Moved to stretford a few months ago and tried out all the local takeaways, but this is the one I’ve gone back to again and again. Salt and Pepper chips are the best I’ve had anywhere. Food is top quality, everyone is super friendly and the food is always ready so fast. Highly recommend! :)

Been ordering from here for over 26 years and always been great. The portions are getting smaller but I guess it’s like most places now. They are still decent sized though. Order through their website rather than just eat or deliveroo as the delivery charge is less is my advice.

We’ve tried a number of Chinese’s since moving to Manchester a couple of years, this is by far and away the best one we’ve had! We absolutely love how fresh it is and our favourite dishes are the salt and pepper chicken and sweet and sour! We absolutely love their satay sauce as well! Would give 6 stars if I could

Down from Newcastle for a couple of day. Fancied a Chinese and past this shop heading back from old trafford. Staff friendly. Vegetable chow mein was lovely, slightly to salty. The chips had Chinese taste but not what I'd call a Chinese chip like I get back at home but we're still nice. Chinken balls and sweet and sour sauce were spot on. The child enjoyed her fried rice curry and chips in the same carton.. Some free prawn crackers and fortune cookies to. Overall a nice chinese meal

spent £47.50 tonight on this chinese and absolutely everything was disgusting! the ribs were tough, the dumplings were chewy and inedible (i wouldnt even feed it my dog). Considering it is overpriced you’d expect them to atleast make it fresh. One of the worst chinese i have had.

New owners, so was worried with my O.C.D as I used to work for them and so know exactly how each dish should be. They are spot on with every dish, no matter how demanding my requests are and ingredients always so fresh ( unlike before, which was hit and miss). Everyone so friendly that I don't even ring ahead of time. Will accomadate any needs/ requirements and so polite. Food is amazing. Smaller menu now but suppose stops them putting prices up and will make you what you want anyway, so no difference really. Would highly reccomnded. So much more professional than before but still the same great food.

cracking Chinese food, fast and friendly delivery. do yourself a favour and order on their website and save yourself some money. only downside is the fact the cost of a meal has almost doubled due to covid when the same meal i ordered was about £10 cheaper, hence 4 stars instead of 5

Best Chinese takeaway in Stretford, the salt and pepper chicken pieces are the best around authentic Chinese crispy buttermilk coating with loads of veg, the singapore vermicelli noodles are amazing and the chicken balls are a must. I’ve had a lot of dishes from this establishment, the quality and taste of food is excellent. The customer service is fantastic the gentleman who runs it, his family and staff are lovely people always take the time have a chat every time I pick my food up and ask how I’m doing makes it that much better.

Food is usually excellent from this place, however this time it was below par. Also had to wait in the shop for 10+ minutes after arriving at the time they said to collect.

Disguisting behaviour from a member of staff. Order through Just Eat , waiting 2hrs for food, rang, only to be cut off on several occasions. On the last call, i was told my order was cancelled. Avoid at all cost.

Just had our third take away from her and the standard has been maintained throughout. Very tasty but the Chow Mein is the best we have had in Stretford and beyond. Give it a go, so easy using the website to order.

I asked Oriental this on another site : I would like to know why sometimes you won't answer the phone. It just rings and rings. This goes on for hours. Some food delivery places will let you order (I haven't actually gone as far as ordering) while others are saying you aren't taking orders at the moment. This isn't just a one off. It happens regularly at the moment. I have been a customer for several years. I find you very unreliable. My partner rang once and was told to call back after 30 minutes. He did and was told to call back in another 30 minutes. He did this and was told to call back in 15 minutes which he did and no one answered the phone again. I don't think this is a good way to treat your customers.”

Only can review on the beef chow main which I think is really tasty and loaded with vegetables. The owners of the shop are extremely nice and try to help as much as possible.

Terrible operation. I ordered food and paid online for the food to be delivered. I wasn't sent a confirmation email and had to wait over 30 mins to find out whether they were going to even complete the order. Do not order from these people. The food was ok. There are many better places. 1st and last time.

I have ordered from here many times, not the cheapest but fantastic food. However the last order? Half cooked cold chips, tiny ribs, hardly any meat on them. And there were so few. Think this has put me off. Not sure if I will use them again. Hope they see this and sort it

Don't order from hear been waiting hour half for my food to find a black hair in my egg fried rice they were rude and wouldn't give me a refund so if you like hairs in your egg fried rice this is the place to go horrible customer service

The food from here is great and full of flavour. Been ordering for a while and have never been let down, delivery drivers also go the extra mile and deliver to your door (never usually happens in flats). Have also visited in person and the staff are always very friendly, even when extremely busy.

Ordered an extremely tasty and well presented dim sum selection via Just Eat - was delivered early mostly in recyclable cardboard packaging - definitely going to order again soon some time.

Had an amazing take away, it was busy but midweek which always makes a difference I think, rather than a busy Friday night! We have had good take aways at weekends but this one was the best!

Ordered a pad Thai, was legit the worst pad Thai I’ve ever seen or tasted. Took two hours to come and was horrendous food. DONT GO THERE. When I called and asked for a refund, there was no argument or questions just “okay we will refund” obvs they have to refund a lot

All the oriental express chain has lovely food&although this 1 was taken over by different owner,she has kept the recipes the same,so your always guaranteed consistency of food.open kitchen which is always good.staff always plesant and polite.good choice of veggie food and now serves some thai food and alcohol too.been using this place for years and wouldnt go anywhere else.i always ask for veggie stock in my soup&unlike most other places,they've always obliged.great little takeaway

Was very disappointed in this takeaway as it has good reviews. We ordered salt and pepper chicken balls and chicken fried rice. The balls were unseasoned and worse of all they were 80% batter which was semi undercooked as was soggy. The rice was also under seasoned and just wasn't very good to eat. Won't be eating from here again.

Ignore the negative reviews, this is our go to when we order Chinese. Food is always piping hot and never greasy. Ingredients are fresh & portion sizes are reasonable. Probably not as huge or overfacing as some take aways but I prefer quality over quantity. Salt & pepper chicken, chow mein & curry sauce dishes are amazing. Staff are super friendly too. What's not to love?

A friend was coming to visit, but was not due until evening. We had decided on Chinese and she sent her order to me via text message. An hour before she was due, I rang the order through and asked if they could deliver at a certain time, hopefully to coincide with my friend's arrival. Not a problem. One of the dishes ordered was egg fried rice. Requested that there be no egg in this dish (allergic) - not a problem. The food, and my friend, arrived at the same time - 8pm. Food hot and delicious. Menu - varied and excellent choice. Good selection for vegetarians. Good value for money.

Now I hate Chinese food, usually it’s tasteless and greasy!! And I wouldn’t normally review a take away!! But after seeing this had one star and 2 reviews I felt this needed to be posted!! This is the best take away Chinese food I’ve tasted in a long time now I did go pick it up but WOW!! I don’t understand how this is one star it’s amazing and had actually re kindled my love for the food!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and in fact I have and my friends have been and said the same!! Not greasy fresh tasty food!! SERIOUSLY GET HERE!!!

Always good service when i walk in or order for delivery. I only have ever eaten a few things off the menu but it is always nice and consistent, the only thing that changes is the containers that they are in sometimes. I think the salt and pepper squid needs some more seasoning, maybe some ras el hanout or some 5 spice.

Very rude customer service. I bought a £30 meal for my family while on holiday in Manchester and they sold me stale food, their rice was even smelly, obviously I couldn't tell until I got to the hotel room. When I called the woman that answered the phone told me it's been over an hour since I collected my food and what am I expecting? She was so rude that if it wasn't the weekend I would call food hygiene inspectors to come and witness it. But anyway karma is real one day someone will put them in their place

Told at the time of ordering delivery will be 30-45 mins, 20 mins late we call to find out where it is to be told it's next out. Another 15 mins later still not arrived to be told it's a big order (for 4 people isn't big) and they are just preparing it to now being told it could take another 30 mins, seriously I have never had such poor service. Obviously they don't care if you pay by card as they already have your money. First time ordering from here, currently still waiting for delivery, I don't care how nice it is, it will be the last time. Shocking Service.

For a few small pieces of 85% Batter 15% Cod. £5.60.... Five Pound Sixty... absolutely disgusting and it would not even feed a baby. Terrible, would not even give it 1 star if I could.

Very disappointed. Went to get chips and curry sauce and paid 2.30 for what I can only call 10 chips with minimal sauce. They should know that round here food places provide a big bag of chips aswell as a tub of sauce for a lot cheaper. Glad I didn't waste my money on a bigger meal like the others who have left a review.

I ordered delivery on a well known application, the restaurant accepted my order which was about £20. Within minutes the restaurant called and said that I would have to come to collect the food at the front of the apartment block due to parking restrictions. I politely informed them there are no parking restrictions in front of the building - they argued their point, clutching at straws then hung up the phone! I managed to cancel the order and get a refund, which will take 2-5 business days to reach my account. If you are not willing to deliver the order then don't accept it in the first instance, then try and lie your way out of it! I would not recommend using this restaurant if this is how they view customer service. Disgusting!

I love the Oriental Express on chester road. As a sworn vegetarian the menu is full of dishes for doth veggie and non-veggie, the cooking is tremendous and the staff are always friendly even if it 6:30 pm on a friday. To cut it short: If there were six stars it would be seven.

Very very poor delivery service, was told an hour for delivery on a Wednesday night, then got a call an hour and a half later asking for my postcode, Cancelled my order an wil never eat from there again,
