Salt Pepper ribs can't call them that at all just pure salt and they are small like toes burnt and dirty rice warmed up in microwave nd salt chilli chicken with raw carrot and onions

I ordered a breadcrumb fish and got a battered one and paid £5 for a big fish but was small, also had chips curry sauce and peas. We waited a hour for it and was cold when it arrived, don't think we will be ordering food from here again

Had a mixed grill this evening..hmmm more quantity than quality..steak i couldnt chew ..lamb chops with a dubious taste ..a chip shop frozen sausage and bacon with a pulse... on the plus side the mushrooms onions and gravy were tasty..but sorry never again 2/3rds heading for the bin

Ordered curry and rice delivery came meat but no curry rang said would replace sent me a tub of curry sauce but by the time it came all my food was cold what a waste of money and no Tea for me

Great food, I have tried most of the nut free dishes on the menu and have enjoyed them all. What more could I ask for? The speedy service, ready to collect when they say it will be or delivered within their time estimates, makes it easy to plan an evening. The staff are always really helpful when I mention my nut allergy, very considerate and check to make sure all of the meals are nut free.

Disgusting just had child's meal chicken balls chip and a sausage. Chicken balls under cooked chewy did not risk eating , chips dry rock hard , sausage pink nearly took it back weather to hot won t bother going there again However thier Chinese food is usually nice

We've been using here for the last five years and was always spot on. We've noticed that the quality has dropped slightly over last few months but tonight was awful, nothing but Carrott and no sign of any spring onions as its always been. Then discovered price has increased without being told. I understand costs have increased all over but substituting with cheaper ingredients and charging more is wrong. You've now lost a regular customer

Excellent chip shop I ordered Chinese takeaway they forgot my chips delivered in 15 minutes

We’ve been having takeaways from here for several years, but after this one we won’t be having anymore. Salt and pepper ribs, no chillis, no peppers, just diced carrots and diced onion. Rang and got told that’s how they’ve been for the last three years. Weren’t like this four weeks ago. No more takeaways for us from here.

Food is very nice, very easy to order over the phone or online. The only issue I have is that when they deliver, the delivery driver kicks my door rather than knocks. He's polite to speak to though!

Used to love having food from here my go to Chinese but tonight the food was not nice , no chicken in the chicken fried rice , and the rice was gloopy, the chips were soggy I just had to phone up because I paid a lot of money for food that went in the bin , I got offered a free chicken fried rice next time but I'm sorry there won't be a next time , and big foodie are about as useful as a chocolate fire guard !!!!!😠

Loved this Chinese as they have proper chip ship chips but today they were refried - not nice plus the beef strips were chewy like I had reheated them ... not a good experience today

This place used to be spectacular but the standards have dropped significantly! The quality of food, especially the meat is so poor and you could bounce the chips off your plate. We’ve always used Oriental so we hoped that the chicken that smelt like wet dog last time was just down to it sweating in the polythene bag because of the 2 hour wait. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case, the last delivery consisted of very pink, undercooked chicken so this was the last straw! I complained via BigFoodie who palmed me off with “The restaurant will call you. Case closed” that was 2 months ago and I’ve yet to receive a call regarding my raw chicken.

Called restaurant 6 times after no delivery! Waited 1 hour 30 mins, never arrived. Then after contacting food hub who also declined to assist the restaurant call me saying they couldn’t deliver. Why accept my order then say you can’t deliver! Waste of time! Poor communication.

Hands down best Chinese in Stoke and believe me ive tried them all. The noodles and fried chilli chicken dish is unreal. Do not pass on this excellent takeaway..

Has the oriental had new owners ? I always order from here but the past few times it's taken over an hour for the food to be delivered and the food doesnt seem as fresh , a family member had chicken fried rice and it was frozen in the middle , quite disappointing 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I ordered our food at 19.05 on Saturday 27th February Spent over £19 for a takeaway which is meant to be a treat . No food had arrived at 20.15 so I called to see where it was . Apparently no food had even been started promised it would be here in 10 to 15 minutes ... Food finally arrived at 21.00 . This the not the first time this has happened we have used the oriental for many many years but absolutely never again. This needs to be addressed as this is just not good enough called to be told that the shop was really busy and that the ENGLISH food was easier to serve than the Chinese side ... As my order was a mixture it was apparently acceptable that I had to wait ...why would I expect anything else ....really sorry was all they offered . The driver was lovely he always is . They sent me a free bottle of coke ...refused don't drink coke .... When the food eventually arrived the mixed grill had about 1/4 portion of chips and the size of the lamb shop about a mouthful ... just not good enough

We have always enjoyed the food here but the last time was a terrible experience approx 2hr wait for food and was only luke warm when it did arrive and very rude when I rung up to complain

I had a fried rice special,chicken with water chestnuts and bamboo shoots.and prawn crackers last week.it was without doubt the best Chinese food I have ever eaten,highly recommend

Horrendous. Waited 2 and half hours for delivery. Rang and there was much shouting in background, highly unprofessional. Recieved no apology or money off, fobbed off numerous times when we called to ask where food was..kept getting told 20 minutes! Chose 3 thai dishes, which were totally unflavoured and worst quality meat! Will not use again!

Absolute waste of money, the chicken must be atleast 3 days old , feels like your eating cardboard. The chinese roasted pork was discusting.. more fat then pork and the tatse had more of dishwashing soap. This was our first time order here and deffo the last.

Best Chinese in the area in my opinion. Great service and they even deliver to you! Can't argue with that, chow mein again is alright, but not the best, but Stoke isn't really an area that has very good chow meins.

Service is okay, doesn't take too long for your order, food tastes good but I had chicken chow mein and the chicken was rubbery and seemed fatty? Weird! Will go again but avoid chicken in the chow mein. It was flavoursome so would be nice with just the veg and bean sprouts. Rest of the food was fine. Mediocre chips but it is a Chinese after all.

Me and my dad went there the first time and I had chips and curry saurse and a potato fritter and there was a hair inside the potato fritter batter witch really put me off then the curry saurse was really funny and didn't even teste like curry saurse it was so so spicey I could not eat it ! And not to mention it was cold immediately! Worst food I'v ever tasted The only good thing about the place was the young girl working there she was very sweet
