Picked up a Chicken Chow mein tonight..have they had a new chef ?? It was dry as sticks and quite tasteless ..wont bother again and the lady front of house has no manners

Terrible place tried to explain to the rude lady on the phone that all the food needed to be cooked separately as we have a shellfish allergy and she hung up the phone, upon collecting the food she handed it to me and I double confirmed that the food was all cooked separately and she said it was not and then had to wait there again for a further 30 minutes, for them to remake it. I explained to the rude lady that If she hadn’t of hung up the phone this wouldn’t have happened. Then after waiting for a further 30 minutes with no discount got home to find food missing off the order. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend here and the kitchens looked dirty and saw the lady in the back picking up her food with her bare hands. Avoid at all costs.

Rude receptionist, argued with my partner. Prices don't match the menu that we only picked up 2 weeks ago. Plus £2.50 delivery. Scandalous. That's the last time we will order from these.

Cost £2.50 to deliver I only live down the road not even a mile so you must have to live in the same street to get delivery from £1.50 although they don’t tell you on the phone your being charged that much and need to spend £15 for free prawn crackers and your lucky if you get 10 in a bag I won’t be ordering again.

My third and last meal from here. It was overcooked, dry, cold and inedible.

Best sweet and sour sauce. Only Chinese take away I will go too for a night in. Plenty of choice. Staff are friendly.

Phoned them for delivery told me 40 mins which was fine hour later still not come phoned them 5 times they say 2 minutes will be there 2hours later still got no food phoned again they say its on way now I say has it left they say no so told them just cancel it

Best Chinese takeaway for miles,lovely staff,food always hot and fresh, the extras menu is an amazing deal, curry, rice and chips for less than £5 and very filling ,never been disappointed in anything off the menu

Completely ignorant person the guy on the phone so un helpful completely phone service shocking so rude. Will never spend money hear ever. People do not use this Chinese they don't deserve your money. I don't ever write reviews that's how bad this service is.

Just called to place an order . Man was very rude on the phone asked how long it will be . His response I dont know say an hour or so . Very rude indeed. Hopefully food will.turn up and be worth the wait . Never had a problem with this place previously but customer service score nil pa . Disgusting and rude

We regularly order from here ,love the noodles and Beef in Black Bean Sauce,also the Banana fritters in syrup sauce the best!!,the prices are reasonable and delivery driver polite,x

Very good food and very good service

The man behind the counter was quite rude and had a bad attitude all I asked him is do you do chicken spring rolls and he said he was so confused and had a hissy fit and went into the kitchen. I was just baffled by his bizarre behaviour.

Best Chinese in smallthorne !!! By far always good food

Placed my first order with Lotus Blossom last night after a reccomendation, delivered quickly, the food was simply excellent. Very impressed.

Hubby and I said we would try a Chinese as we had not had one for quite some time. We decided we would have chicken chow mien and egg fried rice. Sorry never again, all we had was a lot of noodles we needed a magnifying glass to see any kind of veg and were eating lots of grease. We used to use Lotus Blossom quite a lot at one time but no more.

I have given this place a 4 star because of the delivery times. The food at the place is nice. The delivery let's it down. You have to wait 2 hours before it arrives.

My goto for Chinese takeaway. Great food and friendly service.

It is the first time I have ordered from lotus blossom. I will definately be ordering again. The food was lovely and piping hot. The staff are very polite and courteous. I would recommend anyone wanting a tasty and affordable chinese takeaway amazing. Thanks Lotus Blossom. 😊😊😊

Our old favourite used to be evergreen and then lynns but they changed and the food wasn't as nice. We tried lotus blossom and loved it on the first try!!. Now it id our new favourite. Foods great and the quality is good, cheaper too. Also the waiting time is not bad 45 minutes to an hour whereas some take up to 2 hours and then the foods cold, with lotus we have never had any issues with this. Thanks for the great meals!!!.

Food is excellent from here but once again were so far on a 2 hour wait for delivery after being told that food would be here within an hour. It's as tho they take the phone off the hook when they're busy which is shocking. If deliveries going be 2 hour plus just say so

Lotus blossom I don't know what happened to this once great Chinese takeaway but it is now the worse ever for delivery times shocking waited over an hour was told in the hour

My second favourite Chinese takeaway. If my original go to is closed, then I will come here provided that I have the cash on me. Lovely food which is always hot, delivery can be quite a while sometimes but it has never ever been late. It could improve by accepting card payments, this way they would get a lot more customers for sure.

Ordered the past couple of times and the rice has been so dry like it's bin cooked so far in advance and just left sat around and reheated

Food was cold, the curry was cold the only thing keeping it warm was the amount of spice they used, the lemon chicken was dry even with the lemon on top of it, it did nothing at all to keep the chicken moist.

Not as nice as when it first opened and has declined ever since foods ok now but stopped ordering when I asked for chicken noddle soup for start it was awful they had just used beef oxo cubes and a lot of salt it wouldn’t of been so bad if they had used chicken stock shocking seems like they don’t care as long as they moneys there

Phoned an order through for delivery of sweet n sour chicken balls and chicken fried rice , same order i have had in the past delivery was told 45 min wait arrived within 30 min but food was awful chicken balls were very soggy and chicken fried rice had so many black bits it was almost like they used the remenants of a carcus to produce the chicken fried rice , shamefull as normally a nice place to order from but wont be ordering from there again anytime soon.

not usually a bad place to eat but last two occasions had to wait upto 30mins longer in the shop after waiting 20mins before collecting got my meal or meals wrong phoned them back to get the meal i wanted then only to have fatty, burnt small bits of chicken that looked like the scrap bits or non atall And never got a sorry or nothing. Might have to give it a miss a few months then see if it improves.

Great food but for god sake the delivery service is disgraceful u are told an hour and they mean two hours it’s appalkng customer service why they don’t they invest in more delivery drivers to keep up with demand surely they are going to loose custom on the lookout for more reliable service myself

Phoned in an order at 6:30pm and still hadn’t received it by 8:30pm. Phoned up and was told about half an hour to wait. Last time I’ll use this place!!!

Rubbish!!!! shell fish in a chicken chow mein and when I rang up they said they hadnt put it in there. Stay away

Very poor service used it a number times. But last time it was 90 minutes for order to be delivered & tonight 2hrs 20 minutes, plus 2 phone calls still no delivery. 3rd phone call to cancel the order, only for order to turn up some 30 minutes later. Will not use again as there are plenty of others

Use these all the time, although Evergreen just up the bank is usually pretty good too! Lotus Blossom do the nicest sweet and sour chicken (Cantonese style), and chicken chow mein, I've tried within the City, absolutely no competition. Delivery can sometimes be on the slow side but I've been into the premises on a few occasions and the phone doesn't stop ringing at the weekend, so can be forgiven! It's just a shame that they don't have an online site so payment can be made via card - Come into the 21st Century, LB! ^.^

Excellent Chinese , highly recommend. Ignore the two 1 star comments because Sandy could have walked instead and Paul's stressing over a Thai dish not a Chinese one (even though he says he's used the place for years and it's excellent).

I've used this establishment for several years and the food is excellent but after several attempts to order a Thai red curry and not being understood I gave Evergreens a bash. I was not disappointed. Sort it out Lotus, it's not difficult!!!

what an appaling service 1.5 hours for delivery I only live 5 minutes away do not use

Absolutely the best Chinese food in Stoke on Trent, even though there are tons of closer restaurants that will deliver to my house, I often drive to collect my food from here. If you are on a budget I would recommend the 3in1 from here or the round tray with beef curry, chips and rice in. Its huge and its only about £3.50. Lotus Blossom, if you are reading this, don't ever change anything!!!!! :)
