Fantastic service as always 👏 Generous portion sizes and value for money

Absolutely disgusting, food turned up 30 minutes late after we had rang them Was luke warm, sent two wrong items, rang them to be offered the two items free next time. No thanks. Couldn't even swallow the dry tasteless chips, chicken balls overcooked, chow mein Just ok, most of it went in the bin. Been here many times and always been OK. Never again, They obviously had not listened to what we ordered, Bad service all round.

This is my go to place for food. I've never had a bad meal from them. Highly recommended

Updated 12/01/24 reduced from 5 to 2 stars Not sure what's going on.... Had 2 takeaways recently and both were not up to the usual standard. Chicken balls over cooked and greasy, curry sauce very thin. Disappointed to say the least...

I ordered this Chinese, I offered to collect they said no we can only deliver which I found strange reason about close > OK I ordered this at 22:45, driver was outside my home by 11pm (8 min drive from my home) which means the food was cooked just over 5 minutes it was bland tastless and not even warm never again!

Read great reviews, but unfortunately I feel like i was reading about a different place. While the staff are friendly, the food itself was the most bland I've eaten. No flavour to anything and I'm afraid I wouldn't order from here again.

I’ve been ordering from here for about a year as I work across the road, never had a bad experience, there chilli chips and chicken sweetcorn soup are excellent, great on price’s 10/10 would recommend

I used to love there food. But after the last few times there food seems to be going down hill. I ask that the mini spring rolls are not over cooked and they over cook them every time. Even there spare ribs aint as nice as they used to be.

One of the worst Chinese takeaway meals I've ever had . Surprisingly bad considering some of the other reviews. I had House Chow Mein, chips and curry sauce. The chips were soggy and cold, the curry sauce was flavourless and certainly not spicy. The Chow Mein was pretty tasteless other than it seems to have been sweetened with sugar. I'm not one to write reviews, but this was so bad I felt I had to warn people about it!

Have used oriental chef numerous times now, the food is great. Always hot and full to the brim of the containers you get. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Ordered from here tonight for the first time and can’t fault it at all. Great portions, well cooked, really tasty and delivered within 45 minutes of ordering. Would recommend and will definitely order from here again 👍🏻

To start, this place is clean and they prepare food in front of us! ordered king prawn egg fried rice. Rice was ok but king prawn taste like water, had fellin i was eating plastic. Finnish rice but just throw away king prawn...Besides that experience was good and I do rather order from takeaway when i can see them cook and cleaness of place. would buy again !

Great food. Never had any meals here that i cannot say has not been good. Will not go anywhere else. Collect is quicker than delivery. Nice staff too.

My chicken was really tough. The beef curry wasn't up to much. The chicken used in the balls was reconstituted, mushy and rather unpleasant. The duck dish and chow meins we ordered were good. Over all, disappointing. Wouldn't recommend.

In my opinion this is the best Chinese takeaway in Leicester. I've tried many of them and find them all bland, small portions, too spicy etc but this place is great and I've been going here for years. Cheff special chow mein is a good one.

Always have our Chinese takeaway from here and have always loved it.

A friend recommended this Chinese to me and I've never looked back. The food is second to none and very tasty. Their service is quick and efficient and lots of tasty dishes on the menu. Only downside is there's not much information available online so you will have to go in to get a menu. Honestly one of the best Chinese's I've tasted

Best special fried rice around, friendly staff, definitly recommend ! : )

Very very good take-away however AVOID the chicken meal dishes (at time of writing 06/10/2014) they currently use that weird gluttony soft chicken that is hard to describe as chicken at all. We stopped using the take-away a few months back due to this but gave them another chance last night and the chicken is still the same. Everything else however is very nice.
