A bit disappointed! food tasted lovely but many places add some veggies so it's not as dry. broccoli, mangetout etc. As I say was tasty though!

The chicken fried rice and curry was really nice but the prawn omelette was dry.

A little on the pricey side but was worth paying that bit extra.

Hi there , The oriental chef ( Rochdale ) the mushroom fried rice is my favourite, well nice & the chips are the best & it's a really nice Atmosphere , im limited being vegetarian, it's a Yummy place for lovely food 😋

My order was over £45… the duck came on the bone usually anywhere else it’s shredded. We just didn’t enjoy it tasted a little bit bland the curry….. delivery driver was lovely very polite but sorry won’t order again from here :(

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE / Food just arrived , chow mein cold ,crispy beef uneatable just tastes of vinegar , ordered and paid for large chips not delivered and then said would deliver after ringing 30 minutes after awful food delivered , all gone in bin and now reordering from somewhere else ,

was nice... soup a tad bit salty but all in all was nice

Crispy beef had no sauce, shredded chicken was ridiculously dry. The beef in the chow mein was so tough you couldn't even chew it. Over £40 order also not even any prawn crackers

For £24 all l ordeeed was 6 tiny spring rolls a very watery prawn and green pepper curry and fried rice. I won't be ordering from Oriental Chef again.

Food was bland and overcooked will never order again

SHOCKING!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! DELIVERY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN HOUR. CALLED AFTER AN HOUR AND TOLD IT WOULD BE 15 MINUTES AND PROMISED IT WOULDN'T BE COLD. 40 MINUTES LATER IT ARRIVED COLD. SALT N PEPPER CHIPS WHERE SOGGY AND NOT SEASONED. JUST PLAIN CHIPS. RICE OVER FRIED AND VERY LITTLE MEET IN ALL OF THE DISHES.

Spare ribs in syrup at nearly 8 pounds was horrible dry, fish wasn't great, Salt and pepper chips was nice but food didn't come that hot.

SUCH GOOD FOOD!!! honestly my first time having halal Chinese food - the menu was massive (I had spoken to the person who worked there and they clarified that the chicken,duck, fish etc are halal and they use seperate dishes so no cross contamination:) ) I had rang many to ask but unfortunately not many with such good food choices. I had ordered chicken chow mein, salt and pepper chicken extra spicy with some hot and sour soup and Singaporean chicken rice - all food was so good! I had never gotten a fortune cookie before so that was cute. unfortunately a mix up had happened which meant I had received two salt and pepper chicken (not complaining!!) rather than a chow mein. I had messaged this to them and within 20 minutes a steaming hot chow mein was sent to my house. the mix up was totally fine and the person who delivered it was so nice, bless him. the environment was so cute though, kids were enjoying themselves and the kitchen looked really clean. honestly don't know why the bad reviews, the food was excellent.

Food was horrible. Sweet and sour sauce didn't taste anything like sweet and sour sauce. Prawn crackers were disgusting. The duck wraps had be overdone and had water in the bag. Cucumber was soggy too.. So was all like mush. Will NEVER order from here again ... Terrible food!!!!

used to always order from here but had a bad meal over a year ago so haven't since but thought would give them another try. Food average although warm enough but dishes are bulked up with loads of onions. The food here used to be restaurant quality but alas not anymore. shame.

The fish chips,peas and curry was inedible. The fish was burnt and seemed as though it had been fried more than once. Very disappointing as rest of order was very nice.

I wouldn’t Recommend or order again. 6 pieces of beef in main meal dish and 11 salt and pepper chicken pieces, considering this dish cost £7 I felt this was quite poor. Dishes bulked out by excessive veg content. I like veg but would have ordered a vegetarian meal if I’d wanted that.

It's our regular place to order. Food wasn't as nice as usual. Spring rolls were tiny, not the usual ones. Spent 30 quid. Usually get free prawn crackers but didn't. Rest of food was alright. But not amazing.

I am a nhs professional working at birch hill hospital. I have been ordering from here for 5 years now for myself and colleagues. This year in particular the food standard has been poor and I have complained over the phone on multiple occasions. I ordered in bulk for my colleagues at work again today despite my better judgement and the food yet again tasted like leftover microwaved dog food. This is the last time I utilise your services and i will make sure my colleagues and anyone i come in contact with are made aware!

Delivery wasn't too late but it certainly wasn't worth the wait. The food was dreadful, like it had been cooked last week and warmed up for us. Barely any chicken in the chow mein

Satay was like chinese curry watered down with pepper in. Don't think it had seen any peanut butter. My rice was cold The chips looked old from afternoon maybe and not worth the money Shame it used to be good but last few times my food hasn't had any flavour.

We have ordered a. few times now from here and we have not been disappointed. We order the duck which is cooked to perfection and all the other foods we have had have been just as good. We had an item missing from the order and they made it up and delivered it to us, straight away without a problem, even though they were down on drivers. Really friendly and helpful. This is definitely our Chinese go to which question. Thank you.

Wanted to give this a try as our usual place was closed, and found the whole meal disappointing. The satay sauce did not taste like satay and was far too salty, the Singapore noodles didn’t have much meat in them and didn’t have much flavour. Salt and pepper chicken pieces were good. Personally would not go back but maybe we were just unlucky with the choices.

The food was absolutely disgusting, chips was grey and black in colour and were clearly cooked earlier in the afternoon or even yesterday! Mixed meat curry wasn’t good, it had 2 pieces of beef and 2 pieces of chicken- we asked for no pork. Beef and mushroom was vile it was packed out with Mushrooms, onion carrot spring onion and 4 small pieces of beef in a brown watery sauce. We have ordered many times before and never really encountered food this bad from here. I called the restaurant and all they said is “we will ensure everything is fresh next time you order” I won’t be ordering again. Full plates are still sat on the table waiting to go in the bins 🤢

The mixed meat curry is amazing! And proper chippy chips. The only downside was the ribs, £7.80 for bones and Peritoneum which is low the skin. We requested delivery for 9pm and it was on the dot. The delivery driver was polite

Food was off, but into the prawn toast and had to spit out. Food had been reheated a few times by the look of it. Had to bin the whole order as uneadble. Can't comment on the restaurant service. Delivery was very fast. Very disappointed with the food.

Food quality absolutely fine. Delivery was delayed due to a nearby accident but this was not any fault of the delivery driver. Food was still hot so no drama. Thanks!

Booked for 6.30pm was delivered hour early and guest where raring at 6.45pm

Wasn’t impressed wontons were hard and small, hardly any meat in chow mein disappointed for the price plus they charged 10p for a bag and didn’t even send the food in one talk about cheeky

Terrible service-excuses for non delivery-do not recommend. Waited over an hour and half-to then be told they could not deliver!!!

The quality was excellent but the quantity v price was not very good. We expected larger spring rolls but they were only about finger size and 4 for £4 meant a pound each, bit expensive for what they were.

I ordered King Prawn chow mein and salt and pepper but the prawns were shrimps

No food arrived. I started to call the restaurant when the order was more than an hour late (an hour after waiting the original delivery time slot given). Not answering the phone after multiple attempts and still not received my order. No call or communication to advise of any delay. Don’t bother!! Having paid up front I probably won’t even get a refund.

Just been in for fish and chips for me and the wife and tell you what that's the best fish I have had in years the batter was lovely and light defo going back there again

I literally ordered because I fancied salt and pepper ribs, & with a £7 price tag, I thought they’d have some meat on them, they need to shop at a butchers as the 7 bones I got half were ends all gristle, & the rest had maybe a couple mm you could just gnaw off a taste. Chips an curry was nice, and the chow mien was nice, except for smelling burned. Not a great experience for £19

I'm sorry to say our meal was very poor. The crispy shredded beef in OK sauce was in a very watery, vinegary sauce that had no colour or flavour other than vinegar. The beef was soggy, not even slightly crispy.

Excellent service and food. Very friendly and professional and do have wooden forks and spoons. Thank you will be back again :)

Chow mein was dry & not a lot of pork Mixed foo yung was juicy but only 1 piece of pork, beef & 2 chicken Salt & Pepper ribs were tiny & mainly bone with very little meat Salt & Pepper chips were nice, the onions & green peppers were fresh & crunchy Plain chips were very nice Jumbo sausages were anemic Salt & Pepper chicken pieces were nice Free bottle of Pepsi was a nice surprise 🤗🤗 Fast delivery & the guy was very pleasant indeed 🤗 3/5 🤗🤗🤗

Special fried rice had a weird taste to it and barely any meat in it. The srispy beef nearly took out my fillings. Sweet and sour pork is okay but very syrupy and the chips looked barely cooked and some were very soggy. H alf of it had to be binned. All five of us thought it was awful and would never go back.

Prawn crackers were stale and the curry sauce too stodgy.
