Oriental Chef in Newport

This is without question the best Chinese takeaway in the area. The food is delicious - not too salty. I usually collect the food myself as delivery can take a while, but if you collect it's always ready when they say it will be, usually within just 20 minutes or so.

Placed my order at 18:30....told 90 mins max...nothing by 9pm. Phoned up and they weren't even bothered. Used many times before but never again!!!

Never ever will i order from here again. I was told my order would be delivered within the hour. 2 hours later I rang and complained. When the young guy tried to deliver and I refused to pay he told me to f**** off! I called to complain only to be called a liar!!! Them after being hung up on I called to be answered and left on the desk to hear them slay me off!!!

I’ve been eating here for the past eight years, so you know this review is going to be favourable. The food is tasty, the owners are friendly and always happy to work round my partners expectations. In short....nice food, great value and friendly service is why we always go back

Got in from work. Neither of us felt like cooking. Ordered from here. Wow! Best Chinese I've had for years. Def recommend .

We order from this Chinese once a month as a treat, we always get a delivery they are accurate at what time our food will arrive, food is always hot, delicious and plenty of it, definitely recommend oriental chef.

Small family business. Satisfying Thai, Chinese and Malaysian food, good portions, quick service. Opposite an excellent pub!

ordering was easy, and cost given without having to ask. The food arrived within the time they stated it would take, all was hot. the food itself was tasty and there was plenty of meat in the curry dishes. will try is one again
