Vest Chinese we've ever had! Lovely chef and front of house! Quick service and absolutely delicious. We got the beef noodle soup, veggie spring rolls and chicken chow mein. Will be back next time in Dover ! Thank you for an amazing meal.

We have been using this establishment for a number of years now and have enjoyed superb Chinese food every time. We placed a large order this week and every dish was delicious. Be aware sometimes you have to wait for your food as this is a small family run business but the results are well worth it.

Had the beef laksa noodle soup. It is the best! Their grilled pork dumplings are also amazing, sadly long gone before I could take a picture. I've put a picture of their menu too.

excellent service and food is so delicious!!! had salt and pepper chips - best i’ve ever had- and chow mien which was very nice :) my mum had a prawn noodles which she said was amazing also- wait was about 30 mins which for a friday is super reasonable!!

Awful salty food weird tasting rice shocking chicken balls so so greasy with vile chicken inside usually a lovely meal but really bad tonight

I have supported from when it was called 888, their food just got better and better. The receptionist is friendly and is well position. Good food never do delivery that's why I am happily go there to collect.

Best oriental take out food in town. Clean premises and can see the food being cooked in-front of you. Very pleasant staff, wait time was about 15 minutes and the food tasted fresh.

I was picking up my food and I witnessed the staff being super rude to a customer, I don't know what was that about but no one should be treated that way. Unfortunately I had to take their food as I pre-ordered, otherwise I'll never buy it. I was even more disappointed when I tasted the food, very dry and chewy, super disappointed

Really gone down hill. Ingredient quality has clearly changed. Several better Chinese options just a few minutes walk away (without the painful wait times too!).

AVOID AT ANY COST!!! AGGRESSIVE STAFF, SWEARING AND SCREAMING!! We came in ordering food for take away, after over 30 min wait we ask when the food will be ready, they said is a busy night and it will take time, but we weren't informed beforehand, we had plans and weren't prepared for 30+ min wait inside for takeaway! He start saying that people call earlier to order and wait is from 40 to 90 minutes on that day, we said we should be informed before so we wouldn't order. He start getting rude so we requested the refund as we didn't want to eat from a place that we just waisted 40 min for and instead of apologising for their mistake they start calling us "ridiculous" and refused the refund. When one of employees finally agreed to refund they start swearing and screaming, telling us to f off and start waving hands in front of our faces. I was never treated like that before, horrible attitude towards the costumer, I'd give 0 stars if I could.

First time I tried some noodles was ok. But the behaviour to customers was not acceptable. So I won't go back again 👎👎

I order Noddles it was ok but staff ( Chef) was disgusting , he was rude and treating me very badly. I don’t know how did they got 4.5 star Reviews . They must cheated. I believed they should get under 2 star . For everyone - I encourage not to go this shop unless . You want to waste your valuable time with your loved ones and money .

I stopped by at this place to pick up Vegetarian dumplings. After a day of exhaustion hiking to the White cliffs, my phone battery was drained. I just needed to juice it up to 20% for my journey back to London. The young man and woman who were handling the orders and the kitchen were kind enough to help me locate and use the wall charging point. Just when I was figuring out the socket point, the old man who happens to be the owner started shouting at me, saying I cannot use the charging point without permission. When I mentioned that I had taken permission from the other staff, he continued to shout at them and at me to not use it. He was extremely rude and was unapologetic. Left a very bad after taste after visiting this place. I quickly rushed out of this place before I faced any other insults. Avoid this place at any cost. They are too greedy and have no empathy for their customers.

Super gutes Essen. Schade dass es nur ein Imbiss ist, das Essen war high class. Wir haben take away bestellt. Vor Ort gibt es zwar 3 Tische, aber es ist eine offene Küche und deshalb verqualmt. Man muss auch dran denken dass man Reis extra bestellt.

What do I recommend about Orient Noodle Bar? Everything!! We're food snobs & it's rare we give a review as we only review if the food is really good (or really disappointing). The food we've had from these guys is well worth reviewing, it's so good! Ive got to be honest, we're lazy so order takeaways to be delivered. Therefore we've not ordered from here since living in Dover (12 years). We didn't realise how good it is! Considering how lazy we are it's a huge thing that, rather than getting takeaways delivered, we now go down to collect from here, each & every time! We usually have a range of takeaways over the month (Chinese, Indian, pizza/kebab and, I'm ashamed to say, Kaspers. Don't judge me! They are all ok but were not overly keen on any of them, unlike the Orient Bar which blows them all out the water....I wonder where that phrase comes from. Next thing, check Google!). This month we've had food from here EVERY time, apart from once (pizza). So, the reason we love them is the food is fresh, really fresh. It's cooked well and to order. The veg is perfect (for me) as I don't like it overcooked but the veg is always still perfectly crunchy. My husband has the ribs & the meat just falls off its so nicely cook. The prawn toasts are crunch as they are meant to be (some takeaways they are slightly soggy). I have dried fried noodles & they actually are, whereas some places say dry fried but then are in a sauce. I could go on (and apparently, according to my husband when I read this out to him, I do! Cheeky of it!). The food is cooked in front of you & it's amazing to watch him cooking about 15 things at one time as. He looks so chilled out about it all but he has been doing it many many years & it shows. The work are is clean & tidy. Everyone is friendly & polite too. We have just ordered again & my husband is on his way to collect it. I cant see us using any other Chinese again unless these guys are shut. I cant believe we've missed out for 12 years!!

Best Chinese in Dover! Salt and Pepper chili chicken balls! Very special dish

A late arrival in Dover dictated a swift takeaway for much needed sustenance! Ordered by phone, ready on arrival when greeted by a busy but friendly chef. Excellent quality with fresh and hot food (Singapore Chow Mein and spare ribs). To emphasise my pleasant experience, this is the first ever review on Tripadvisor!

Really tasty Asian noodles, shame they don't deliver but still worth making an effort to collect from store.

In my opinion, it's up there with one of the best Chinese takeaways in Dover. It's great watching Tony on the cooking in the open kitchen. You know it's the place to go when you have people of the same culture eating there.

Our Sister treated us to a takeaway as she lives in Dover we live in Folkestone, I have to say it is the utmost BEST food I have ever had! The flavours were awesome. Will definitely be having some more, just amazing food. We didn't visit the restaurant but is at the top of our to do list.

The best Chinese food for miles in the local area. Proper authentic Hong Kong Style Chinese food. Great tasting dishes with fresh high quality ingredients. Tony is a top chef and a top person, if you want something as you like it, never a problem. Highly recommended! Best in town for sure🙂

They are vegetarian friendly and, even better they are open till late! We stopped by for a quick dinner when we visited Dover and were not disappointed! Tasty, good portions, great value for money.

Love their lunchtime special. My favourite on the main menu are the prawn dumplings - gorgeous! Very tasty food that you can see being freshly prepared. Can be a wait though if busy but worth it.

Food was good when I found a place to eat it. There are enough photos on Google Maps of people eating at the tables. When I asked if I could eat it there, the lady said, "We're only doing takeaway, because there's not enough tables for other people to sit down." I was literally the only person in the place with multiple empty tables. Had I not already paid, I'd have left.

Consistently amazing food. Ordered twice on two consecutive nights and was not at all disappointed. The spicy noodle soup, spring rolls and schezwan king prawns were mind blowing, without burning a hole in your pocket. Must try when in Dover and looking for a change to your palate :)

Peak!! it is my 2nd times visiting Dover for swimming. For me, it s the best food in the center there. Delicious food for swimmers. Good energy source to keep you swimming. We went on our way to France then when we returned. The food was fabulous and we will definitely go again. Very fresh ingredients and the chef was lovely and chatty.

I visited this noodle bar last week and I must tell you that the food was fantastic. All the ingredients are fresh and tasty and cooked in front of you by a highly experienced chief in the open kitchen. If you ever in Dover it’s a must place to eat 5 stars for this noodle bar

They clear customers rubbish , touch dirty money and start cook food without washing hands disgusting. They wash pans with dirty water in front of customers and start cook on them straightway disgusting

The worst Chinese food I ever had in my life. guys I’m shocked about the food this man sell to me. I order for duck fried rice and he give me rice soaked with oil.

We arrived in Dover just after 9pm and the place was empty, I generally like a queue at a takeaway (because it shows locals value the place) but we were pressed for time and thought we would try it! We ordered 2 dishes and the chefs took our order quickly, checking for allergies to each dish's ingredients (I was impressed by this even though I have no allergies). It took approx. 10 mins for our order and it came to £12 for Chinese Special* curry, chips, Oriental Special* chow mein & prawn crackers. *contains mixed meats & prawns. As mentioned in other reviews the food is cooked to order in full view. There are a number of tables and chairs in the takeaway for eating in. It's a basic set up but was clean. There were plastic forks and napkins but no customer toilet. Both meals were tasty, my hubby's only negative comment was that he thought they'd added a few too many onions to his curry.

Freshly cooked to order, Tony makes the best packet lunch at a very reasonable price. His kitchen is open so that you can see what’s cooking. And it’s right in the centre of Dover.. we go ther regularly

I find this establishment to be a nice place for a quick grab and go meal. There is one guy who is the chef and a lady who takes the money and assist with prepping and packing your food. There is a wide selection of food. I normally have the egg noodle and prawn. This happens to be my favourite. You can also sit and partake of a meal if you wish.

I only wish I could give 0 stars, after we ordered and payed, the lady sneezed violently into her hands, as we watched then with out washing her hands in the huge sink not 3 feet away from her then proceeded help with cooking and handling another custermers food into a container. Then sneezed for a second time all over open ingredients on work tops, aware we were blatently watching started to chop veg and handed to chef to use in our food, at this point without asking for a refund being so disgusted we walked out . NO EXCUSE, PURELY UNHIGENIC, WILL NEVER RETURN......

Nice to see the kitchen on show for a change. Looked well maintained and cleaned. The quality was similar to a typical high street take away but more friendly and without the worry of hygiene. Nice to be able to eat at one of the tables and take away what you can't finish. Happily recommend and return again if I was in the area.

We spent one night in Dover after disembarking from our cruise and stopped at this restaurant for dinner. They carry an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. The food was excellent- we will be back for an overnight stay in three weeks and will definitely return for another dinner before starting our long journey home to Australia.
