I haven’t even finished my sandwich yet but I came on here to write how nice it is. Best food in Fowey,10/10 value for money

We popped in for a takeaway breakfast and ordered a plain and a chocolate croissant. There were no labels on the signs regarding use of Nutella for the chocolate spread and they had also peeled off the Nutella sticker. It was only when I recognised the shape of the jar (as I am allergic) that we said I couldn’t have it and the man’s response was “well all chocolate has nuts in” (which is untrue) and shrugged his shoulders at us. Very little understanding and advertising of allergens which is appalling. Just be careful if you have a nut allergy - there are no signs to tell you!

Went for a winter stroll through Fowey having already earmarked Organicafe for a lunch stop based on the Tripadvisor reviews. What a good decision. The best panini we have had. Made with top class ciabatta from the local Quay bakery and fabulous Italian meats and cheeses. Topped that off with an excellent cup of coffee. Friendly Italian owner/operators in a very convenient location just opposite Caffa Mill car park. We will certainly be back for more.

Absolutely fantastic. Just popped in for a usual Italian coffee for the first time and was more than surprised at the authenticity of a great Italian cafe. The cappuccino was as good as you can get in Italy and the Mortadella in the light ciabatta was to die for, it was so light and flavoursome. And then to cap it all the panettone was so light that it melted in your mouth. So nice to be able to pop into an authentic Italian cafe. Will be popping in whenever I go past Fowey, we’ll worth the detour

We were staying next door so popped in for a coffee. They serve the best flat white! And the chocolate cake was amazing, we'll definitely be going back!

We picked up some bits for a snacky supper and were delighted to have a lovely selection of hams and cheeses, we chose burrata, gorgonzola and scamorza affumicata and incredible hams like speck, proscuitto, salami, mortadella and more. Thank you so much it was all divine! Lovely and friendly staff also.

Visited on a number of occasions this week. Each time we were greeted warmly and treated to excellent service. The coffee is very good and the panini Lorenzo, in particular, is delicious and we would recommend it highly. Very convenient meeting point whilst waiting for stray family members to return to Caffa Mill car park. Will definitely return.

If visiting Fowey don’t miss this hidden gem!! Located near the Boddinick Ferry and a short walk from the lifeboat quay. Organicafe is the perfect stop for fantastic coffee , accompanied by superb panini and Michela’s home made cakes this is an Italian experience in cornwall. We had a very warm welcome from Luca who obviously takes huge pride in his food. Fantastic we will be regular visitors on our regular trips to Fowey .

This is the place to go for coffee/cake/lunch in Fowey. Fantastic coffee delicious filled croissants and paninis Italian cheeses and hams. Thoroughly recommend. Very friendly proprietor Luca and his wife Michela who makes the amazing Italian cakes. Definitely will return. Thank you.

We first visited in the week the cafe opened. It was so good we’ve been popping by every week and it has become our local treat out. Every coffee, meal and cake has been faultless. Plus Luca introduces us to different foods from the deli. I hope Organicafe has a brilliant season. They deserve to. We visit coffee shops a lot and this takes some beating with the quality of the food served. It’s also really refreshing to have such lovely people serving.

When you can chew your coffee it’s good. This place was seriously good. Very knowledgeable about their Italian cheeses and meats which they told us about whilst we waited for our coffees.

Wonderful welcome; friendly staff. Delightful food. We had a panini and a salad with coffees; great tasting drinks. Food was delicious with that real authentic Italian touch. Fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Still had room for cakes. Apple and Carrot made the Italian way.

If you are looking for a great coffee , head to Organicafe you won’t be disappointed. This Italian Deli comes with a friendly owner , tasty snacks and outdoor seating. Visited numerous times over my 1 week stay in Fowey.

I have visited Organi Cafe since it opened and it is amazing to see how much the cafe has grown and flourished over the years. It is one of my favourite places to eat and drink in Cardiff and I always visit with my parents, as they too love it here. The staff now know us well and we are always greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The food is fantastic! The cheeses, meats, salads and breads are always fresh. The desserts are superb and the tiramisu is the best, as all desserts are homemade. They also do platters of cheeses and meats, which are great if you fancy sharing.The hot and cold drinks are great too, a wide range selection of hot and cold drinks, also some options available for vegans. All produce in Organi are all organic and Italian, which you can really tell. Organi also sell pastas, which I purchase whenever I go there and the pasta is very high quality. It is super tasty and great with a pasta sauce, either homemade or bought from the cafe. Inside the cafe, there are other organic Italian products available to purchase.If you're visiting Cardiff or living here and looking to try a local family owned cafe, definitely visit Organi Cafe. The buses run regularly right near the cafe, you just need to take a bus 27 or X8. It's so nice to see a local family owned business being so popular :) (It is also dog friendly too)

One of the best coffee houses in Cardiff.The restaurant is owned / run by an Italian family and the coffee is superb.We have not eaten a full main course however the deserts are to die for.The Main Courses look great too so maybe next time :-)

My wife needed a boost after being hospital for a while. We both had caprese with a beefy tomato and a large mozzarella, crisp artesanal bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was great, so refreshing after the wholesome but less exciting hospital food. We took pieces of cake home to enjoy later. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a good choice of meals and drinks, quite roomy, too. We'll be back.

If you want a great cup of coffee in a relaxed and calm atmosphere, this is the place for you. You can have a choice of blends and of course, if you find one you like, you can buy some to go home.

I found this place to be very plastic and the staff unfriendly. When I complained they accused me of being drunk. I only had a few gins before going there.

This is a great little place. Their paninis have different but delicious fillings, the cakes seem to be genuine Italian delicacies and are again delicious, coffees always hot and served in a generous cup. You'll get a friendly welcome from the staff and pleasant surroundings to enjoy your break and if you've loved your coffee you can buy it to take home along with other yummy things.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon around 11.30. Very clean and tidy place, nice ambiance and staff very happy. Delicious food and cakes to go with the best coffee I had so far. Will be definitely returning.

I called in with my girlfriend this morning for a coffee and a panini, we were greeted with the kindest of welcomes and seated at a lovely table looking out into the garden. The coffee and the panini were out of this world and the fabulous Italian chatter made us feel like we were on holiday! Absolutely first class food, drink and all round experience.

Great welcoming. Delicious Italian coffee ( latte and cappuccino). They have different kinds of cappuccino . We had VF panini ( prepared in-front of us) while we can see how clean n fresh . Coloured chopping boards they use ( red for meat, green for vegetables....) I like these details. Finally we had a non dairy Italian carrot cake, it was amazing , how soft it was.

Been there a few times enjoying a very italian espresso, Italians cakes and Italians sandwiches! Michela and Luca always spoiled the customers with they amazing treats! I can't fault about anything: owners very professionals and attentive, deserve a visit indeed!

I have eaten here a few times and the food and service have always been excellent. I especially enjoy the crostata- a type of Italian Jam tart- it is always delicious.

We popped in for lunch and we were so impressed with the warm welcome, excellent service and high quality food. The panini and salad we had was very good. There was a choice of espresso and the Brazilian I had was excellent. Finally, to finish it off I had a slice of freshly made tiramisu which was the best I’ve ever had.

We were recommended to try this lovely family run cafe which also is an Italian deli. As a keen learner of Italian it was great to practice speaking with the owner, a really lovely man, very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, very authentic and beautifully presented. It felt like being back on holiday in Italy. Torneremo presto!

I discovered the Organicafe a couple of years ago. i knew it as a great place to have an excellent coffee. Then my wife came with me and we discovered that they do a range of paninis which are all delicious. Each time my wife tries a new one she enthuses about the flavour. it remains great food at a good price, served by lovely people who care about what they do. a jewel of a cafe

Popped in yesterday as needed a pick me up after a long train journey. This is a gem of a place. Only had a couple of lattes as was only a short time until dinner but will definitely go there earlier in the day next time. You have a real comfort feeling as soon as you arrive and the owner and his assistant are lovely. You can understand why they have won the award for cafe of the year. Will be brilliant in the summer as they have a small garden behind with tables. Lovely place to go.

Lovely cafe in north Cardiff, simply but tastefully furnished. The friendly Italian couple who own/run it gave us a very warm welcome, and our orders were delivered promptly. The panini bread tastes properly authentic and there is a good range of Italian salumi and cheeses for fillings. Excellent selection of coffee and teas, and the hot chocolate for 'dessert' was rich, fragrant and you could practically stand a spoon in it. Spotlessly clean throughout, including the lone but large contemporary bathroom complete with baby changer. Prices extremely reasonable. you can also buy a range of deli fare, and some spectacular panettone.

I bought 90% of my husband's Christmas presents from this fabulous cafe so he can share them with me ! The best anchovies, tiramisu, coffee, biscuits etc We will be back in the New year

Recently winners of the Welsh Italian Awards for the best Cafe.

Since our last review this out of the way Italian cafe/deli on Caerphilly Road has been voted Best in Cardiff 2017! And so well deserved. The coffee is still the best in Cardiff and the cakes and snacks are to die for. Their Christmas deli offerings are not cheap but you are getting the real article. Try the Balsamic with apple-great on its own or as a dip. This would lift a Manchego type cheese or cold pork to new levels on Boxing Day. Service has been boosted by more staff and I can't think of a reason not to visit this little gem.

I cannot recommend Organic Cafe enough. The coffee is great. The food delicious and the service second to none! If you’ve not been, you really should. By far the best cafe in north Cardiff.

First visit to Organicafe today following recommendation from a friend. Had seen it when driving past but never thought to go in. Not disappointed. The premises are on a busy major road but the café is set back and once inside you could be anywhere. Peaceful, spotless and at the moment festively decorated. We had cappuccinos and cake each (a ricotta version) - all fresh and very tasty. It's a sizeable place inside with plenty of tables spaced nicely around with some cosy corners if wanted. Staff were very welcoming, attentive and friendly. On way out we had a look at the deli counter which looked very appealing and bought a few small items. Everything was well presented and I would say reasonably priced. Plan to return many more times. Thanks very much.

We meet up with our friends fairly regularly at this Ab Fab cafe. The coffee is the best in Cardiff and the amaretto cake is to die for. Coupled with the friendliest service imaginable, this cafe is a knockout! Magnifico!!
