Went as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) for Sunday lunch. Lamb was delicious, chicken looked great. They done a half portion for the kiddies at half the price. Really attentive and friendly. Would recommend

Wow! what a experience last night was. the service, the hospitality was first class. the wine was fantastic and the food was some of the best food I've ever had. the brothers that own the restaurant were warm, friendly and quiet charming, they made me and my family feel very welcome and there personal attention to detail was first class. we shall definitely be returning to the Ora brasserie. 5stars Brilliant!

Booked a table for Boxing day on the 11th of December. That was confirmed by an email. I was received a phone call from the restaurant on Christmas day at 5pm that my booking for a following day was cancelled because they are closed. Talking about last minute. When l was question why l was not contacted earlier person on the phone very dismissive almost sarcastic. Good customer service 👎

Last time we attended Ora we had a great meal, this time it was poor , my wife had prawns there were 4 prawns at £7.95, wrong. For main I had roast beef, my wife had burger, my beef was chewy, I did state this to the waitress who replied you should have asked how you wanted it rare or medium, in my opinion the waitress should have asked me how I wanted my beef, the vegetables were nice but a very small portion, the potatoes tasted as though they had been reheated , the waitress cleared my wife’s starter before I had finished, my Yorkshire pudding was soggy, Im sorry but did not enjoy my experience this time, my wife thought the burger she had for mains was poor last time my wife had the burger she said it was the best she had had, we were not asked if we wanted any sauces, the owners were good but the waitress seemed inexperienced . Very disappointed.

First time saw reviews was looking forward to meal Limited menu which is not a problem but is when 3 if the choices are not available 3 of us had steak one was so fatty it was in edible when I complained waiter took away and returned same steak recooked joke ordered fries with mains turned up 16 mins later ordered drinks didn’t turn up at all overall I would avoid

First impressions were good.. small local venue.. Let's start with the drinks.. I had a cider.. £4+ for a small glass which is filled with ice.. watered down but it is what it is.. overpriced.. On to the food.. menu is very small.. food is overpriced.. Food was very delicious but small quantities.. £4+ for some small fries.. come on guys.. the idea isn't to rip the pants off your customers who want to return.. Good tasty food.. Bad Overpriced drinks.. Overpriced food.. Service charge 12.5% I think.. rip off.. Cold venue.. We should support independent businesses but they should also support us.. charging people so much does not encourage a return.. Will not be returning.. thank you all the same.. I only gave 3⭐as my food tasted good.. had it not been for that I would have given 1⭐

No Vegetarian options but happy to change the tortellini for me, and it was the best pasta. Dog friendly outside too

We had a Lovely Sunday roast here, all three meats we tried between us were perfectly cooked and really tasty! I have knocked off one star as the roast potatoes were really pale and had no colour and needed cooking for a little longer but were still edible and enjoyable just not that of a typical Sunday roast and anyone who enjoys their roast dinners knows the crispy and fluffy roast potatoes are a must ☺️ We would definitely come here again for a roast and also there were lots on the menu we will be back to try.

Great local restaurant, really delicious food & nice friendly atmosphere

I had a glass of (delicious) wine there once and met the owners who were so kind and interesting. Since then the owners always waved when I walked by, and I vowed to taste their food too as the place looks very appealing. I went back with four other people last week for dinner. The choice of menu was perfect, something for every taste. Everyone's food was really delicious and they made good accommodation to one of my guests who has allergies. The service was impeccable, far more impressive here than I have been in more expensive restaurants. Very pleasant looking place and good atmosphere inside and out. Sincerely recommend!

Fantastic little restaurant, beautiful and very classy both inside and outside. I visited for my birthday this week and am very glad I did. Very polite, friendly and professional waiting staff who make you feel like a special guest and very welcome. Food was incredible, I felt like I was dining at a very fancy restaurant, I ordered the Gin cured Salmon, (I did not upload a picture as it looked so delicious I started digging in immediately) Fillet of Sea Bass with Mashed Potato and Vegetables, Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream and a glass of beautiful Pinot Grigio White Wine. Everything was plated beautifully, cooked perfectly and also seasoned perfectly, I did not wish to add any additional salt or pepper which was provided. The dishes all complemented each other well and went very well with the wine. Tipping is optional although I felt inclined due to the quality of the food and service I was provided. Big compliments to the waiting staff and chef. I will definitely visit here again soon, pleased to have such a high quality and local place with very fair prices, 10/10. 👍

We had an amazing experience today, after stumbling upon Ora brasserie on google for top rated local lamb roasts. The lamb roast surpassed our expectations, everything was seasoned well and the lamb was so delicious. However, what really stood out was the service, it was faultless. The staff were so attentive, lovely and genuinely passionate. The young waitress who served us Berna, was so lovely. A local gem and we will definitely back to try more of their menu.

Amazing Sunday roast. We visited Ora a few times before and I have to say the roast was always great but the last time we visited it was amazing. I had a very tasty roast chicken, vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. My partner had an amazing roast pork. Overall, it was a great meal and very nice atmosphere.

Very nice modern European restaurant, located on the roundabout down Ruislip Manor High Street. Simple rustic setting, with a well curated dinner menu. Two or three course set. Great flavours and textures, with generous portions. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Customers service is obviously extremely important to these guys…. Waitress was fantastic and I’ve eaten at soooo many restaurants but she really stood out! Food was great, hot and on time. 9 of us ordering different things. They have kept their menu simple and manageable and it works ! Great to have a local independent this good around. Keep it up Ora !

Lovely roast although potatoes were a little hard and whilst I like dill. It sure most English folk would enjoy on a roast. Cheesecake excellent.

Highly recommended! Top service, lovely atmosphere and great food at really good portions, specially the Sunday roast! They accommodated our tricky dietary requirements, gluten, dairy, egg and nut free and adapted the dish. Chicken was very tender and lots of sides with the Sunday roast. The pan fried sea bass was also tops! The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back!

I was seated and given a menu. When I was ready to order I was told the card machine wasn't working and got kicked out for not having cash on me. Feels unprofessional.

The ribeye steak was cooked entrecote-style and was smokey-charred on the outside and juicy red at the centre. Together with the butter/herb/beef juice(?) cube left on it to melt and the perfect fries, it was truly sensational! My wife's duck leg was fall-off-the-bone done and the sauce was a savoury reduction and perfectly seasoned. For our tastes, perhaps the skin could have been a touch crispier. Wine list was succinct and offered a good spectrum of grape varieties. We settled with the Spanish shiraz blend which was a perfect complement - very smooth, rounded fruits and low acidity, unlike today's popular overly-fruity and cloyingly sweet types Last, but certainly not least, the service staff were really lovely. Elisa is an angel! Always attentive and smiling. I hope the restaurant realises how great an asset she is! Gosh, getting hungry again for that steak. We'll be back!

This is a hidden gem, I have lived in Ruislip for many years and have never visited this fantastic restaurant. My family and I had an amazing afternoon at Ora’s. The food was fantastic, waitresses, manager and chef are all brilliant. Highly recommend for any occasion, we will be back very soon.

Never realised until now that we had such a gem of a restaurant on our door step. Very friendly and attentive service and the food was fantastic, especially the confit duck and the gin cured salmon.

We visited Ora a few times and had their amazing Sunday Roast a few times. Highly recommended. The portions are generous but most importantly delicious. The rest of the items on the menu is great too, we tried most of their dishes now and they were all very well executed including the desserts.

Not long in from a meal with friends to Ora. It was a set meal for 18 of us. The service was amazing - especially considering the number of us. And the food was too. I order the apple and celeriac soup which was delicious. Gnocchi. Also delicious, and cheesecake. I can’t fault the food. I enjoyed everything. I would highly recommend this friendly neighbourhood restaurant. They were accommodating and all round great.

My sister and I visited Ora for Sunday lunch in the last week. We'd seen it before on our travels, but just decided to visit on the off-chance. The service was good and we were greeted by 2 members of the team, one of whom was the daughter of one of the owners. It was nice to know this is a family owned and run restaurant. We received a lovely welcome and service was efficient. The Sunday lunch that was served was hot, tasty and big! The takeaway box served me well for lunch the next day. We will definitely be back.

We came across this restaurant purely by chance while In Ruislip for family occasion. It’s was quite late in the evening and we were welcomed in . We had a lovely meal in every aspect, the quality of the food , the service and staff were so nice , friendly and very efficient , all four of us were delighted with our meals. It was also very well priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant . You will not be disappointed. Thank you for a lovely evening. If in the area we will definitely call In again.

I had booked this restaurant for dinner from hemelhempstead and they accepted my booking and I drove all the way to have dinner with my family and ai had come to see that the restaurant was closed. They shouldn’t have accepted the booking.

Ora is the best restaurant in the Ruislip area! The food is always fantastic and the staff are really friendly and so accommodating. We recently held a private function at Ora and everyone had a great day.

We had a duck salad and chicken liver to start. Liver was delicious, the duck salad was basic and bland. Just a few pieces of dry duck with lettuce and tomato. We both had a ribeye steak for our main course, requested medium rare.. specifically...

Quick stop for dinner and coffee, and was not disappointed. Second visit to this place with friendly and efficient service. The food was nice and the atmosphere had a little buzz to it. They still have social distancing between tables which made for a more comfortable experience too. Would recommend for a relaxing dinner out.

Amazing food and service. Best restaurant in ruislip.

Overrall, a very average experience and expensive for the quality received. Our starters were very disappointing, with a single piece of rock hard baguette bread each for our pate and beetroot gravadlax. When we asked for edible/fresher bread, we were told that it was the last of the bread and we were given pitta bread instead, which didn't suit our starters at all. We informed the waiting staff on three occasions that we werent happy about the starters and we received a muffled 'sorry' without any attempt to make the situation better. The burger in our mains was accompanied by a very strange tzatziki recipe with a bizzare consistency and bitter taste. There's a lot of room for improvement here. It would have been nice for the staff to have attempted to resolve the situation when we made it clear three times that we were disappointed by the starters. We won't be returning, which is a shame, as we would have wanted to support an independent establishment in the area.

Not happy about being cold-called from a mobile number claiming to be from this place. My forays that far south are very few and far between, and when I do have to they are for a very short time only, definitely not long enough to have something to eat! With that in mind I only assume they have sent out little probes to random mobile numbers, or they've been given my number in error.
